“Their customer service is awful. You can’t even cancel an order you placed my mistake after a few minutes No phone only chat which is also rarely available and minimum 30 minutes wait. Clearly they went you to give up”

“I’ve been a loyal fan of linen bedding for over 7 years, but my experience with Cultiver was disappointing. I ordered the double-sized linen sheet set in the Cedar colour. While the pillowcases fit well, the fitted and flat sheets were quite large, leaving too much extra fabric. The bigger issue, however, was the shedding/pilling. After a couple of days, I noticed the sheets had shed little pills that ended up staining my mattress. I washed the sheets multiple times as recommended by Cultiver, but the pilling persisted. Even if the pilling eventually stops, my mattress is already stained, and my washing machine repeatedly gets covered in these little pills. When I reached out to Cultiver, they told me that linen sheets do pill and suggested washing them more often. However, I’ve never experienced this level of shedding with other linen sheets, and I'm now worried that they won't last very long from washing them so much. Based on this experience, I can’t recommend it.”

“After doing a LOT of research, I ordered a set of linen sheets based on so many good reviews. If you like replacing your sheets every year, these will fill the bill. Plus: We did like the fact that we could use them year round (Colorado). Minus: The fitted sheet began to tear in less than a year. It was also oddly fitted--way too much material on the "fitted" sheet. While they recommend buying an additional fitted sheet to extend the wear, at this price, it just wasn't an option. Returned, and looking for another option.”

“Spent more than $500 on sheets and also bought robes for my daughter and myself. In less than 6 months all items, robes included, have huge holes and tears along seams. I use excellent quality gentle washing detergent, follow all the instructions, so this is extremely disappointing. A friend bought a set too and said her sheets look like old dish rags within 3 months.”

“The Cultiver fitted sheet is not deep enough to stay on my mattress and the return policy does not allow me to return them despite being in pristine condition. So I have a very expensive sheet, duvet, and pillowcase set that I cannot use.”

“We received the Cedar Stripe linen sheet set (fitted sheet, top sheet, and 2 King pillow cases) in April of 2021. After only a year of use, there have been large holes opening up, and linen that has been terribly thinned where we sleep. The material care instructions were followed, and yet, they still wore down after a single year of use. We love the comfort of the sheets, their look, and their fit, but we were HORRIFIED by the wear. We highly recommend the sheets for anyone who sleeps warm, and enjoys a beautiful alternative to other materials. The comfort of Cultiver linen sheets surpasses 5 stars, but the wear on linen only deserves a single star. We should not have to search for new sheets (we spent $628.77 after taxes & shipping to Canada) after only 1 year of use.”

“I have purchased many cultiver over the years with my ex partner - this round the linen has been pilling like there is no tomorrow, and my duvet cover is labeled as full/queen, but is too large for my queen comforter…”

“The packaging and speed of delivery is great. The product however, the black linen towels, are substandard. I have washed these towels maybe 15 times and I still get insane amounts of pilling on my body and bathroom when I use these. They aren't soft, rather rough on the skin and the pilling makes my house and body look like I live in dirt due to the black colouring absolutely everywhere. I can't recommend these less. For the price I expect much more.”
