“The Starbucks I go to in Thousand Oaks is amazing the people there aren’t great they are amazing with customer service and they don’t mind serving drinks. They’re absolutely amazing people everyone’s smiling and so happy and cheerful.”
“The Starbucks on parkway in Russellville Arkansas is the worst.
We tried to make an order and it was pouring rain so we pulled up to the window and there was no one be us so I didn't think it would be an issue with skipping the order intercom but I guess it was.
She told us that we need to come in and order and that their was a line forming behind us and there was absolutely no one behind us.
She started yelling at us and said that we just need to come inside and it was pouring rain, that is why we skipped the intercom to begin with,I surely wasn't gonna get out and get soaked from my car to the door.
We said nevermind and went to the other location across town, which they were absolutely pleasant and gave us our order with no problems
I think Starbucks needs to filter their employees alot Better!! I have never been treated so rudely in my life!! I will NEVER go back to that location again”
“Today at the Albany Starbucks, I met a young woman named Shirley — she’s in the National Air Guard.
While she was busy preparing coffee, I casually asked, “What do you do for the Guard?”
Without missing a beat, she said, “I’m a weapons tech.”
Curious, I asked, “On F-18s? A-10s?”
Still in the middle of her shift, she answered, “F-16s.”
Then, between handing off a coffee and prepping the next order, I asked, “Do F-16s use hydraulics or electric systems to rearm on the ground?”
She replied confidently: “Both!”
It blows my mind how this generation can go from discussing advanced military systems to serving up lattes — all in the same breath.
I’m proud to support Starbucks if they employ people like her. What a powerful reminder of how capable, smart, and adaptable today’s youth truly are.”
“I don't know what has happened to Starbucks, but I will not ever visit another one. The coffee is substandard to everywhere else including starbucks of a few years ago. The coffee has changed, the milk has changed and the syrup has gotten so artificial it would turn your stomach. I also was unfortunate enough to try a breakfast sandwich, and as an Irishman I was appalled. Cardboard dry, and stone cold sausage, fatty barely cooked imitation streaky bacon, also cold and I'm guessing an egg mayonnaise of some sort. I was absolutely disgusted. If this was a once off I could put it down to someone having a bad day, unfortunately I have been in Starbucks in Derry, Dublin and Galway. Rest assured I will not be in one again.”
“Ordered a $100.00 gift card for a birthday present online with a credit card. My card was charged however I did not receive the email of the Starbucks card to pass on to the recipient. I notified Starbucks of the problem a day later. No response!
I would advise not to purchase gift cards online.”
“My reliable go-to for quality coffee. Never disappointed with the locations. If ever I need to grind, Starbucks is my first choice. My only concern is that their drinks can be weak and the customer service can be lacking sometimes depending on the location. These are usually isolated incidents for me.”
“Service is always fantastic whichever branch I go to. Super friendly baristas even when it's busy. I always order a caffe latte which never disappoints and locations are well identified and are the perfect spot to enjoy my coffee and get work done.”
“What has happened to my shake and expresso?? I've relied on it for so long.
I went to 4 different locations searching for the shake and expresso I'm use to.
Doesn't taste like there was coffee in it and looked like some kind of oil was in it.
I ask for my money back for all 4 cups.
Who's idea was it to change, they need to go.
Very disappointed with the change. I've depended on it for a long time now.
Now having to find a new place for my favorite coffee is going to be a painful job.
I'm very sad 😔”
“They need better training. When you pay over $7.00 for a drink and you have to tell them how to make it, it is frustrating. Drinks are made wrong all the time and some of the drinks are weak. Tired of spending my hear earned money on coffee and drinks that are just terrible.”
“Today I went to the Waterloo Station branch to pick up some items. I was waiting enough time to realise that customer after customer who came after me was being served their orders. When I realise that the man calling the orders was moving away I said excuse me but by then Mr. Imiatz who was fully emersed in whatever was going on in his private mobile phone could not hear me and therefore didn't even looked at me. I tapped on the counter to get his attention. This actually worked because he immediately looked at me and put the phone back on his phone. It turned out that the girl taking the orders forgot to put mine forward. However what happened after was simply inexcusable. Mr. Imiatz started shouting at me because in his view "I was very rude" since "he is not my waiter" and again I quote "it is not a way to call the person". He moved away again so
I emmidiately asked him to return to me and told him that I had said excuse me and he was the one who shouldn't be using his personal phone on the shop's food preparing area. That on its own was bad enough because I really prefer to know that my food is handled by hygienic hands and not see a person fiddling with his phone, pockets, with bare hands and just feel that is ok to handle a customer's food afterwards. To make matter worst he started shouting 'don't give her food, I'm the manager here and I am not going to serve you".
I told him twice: Do not raise your voice at me but he was clearly very confused as to what his "Manager" status allows him to do. At this point the cashier came and interrupted him, she did apologise twice and said that she was going to serve me instead. I appreciate her being reasonable and I can accept the fact that she perhaps just simply forgot about my drink (that was not the issue and I have no intention to complain about the girl. I can accept a normal human mistake). What I cannot accept is having a grown man thinking that it is ok to shout at me, simply because he felt embarrassed by a problem that he himself caused. I find this individual totally disgraceful. I have already emailed Starbucks Head Office to place a complaint about the treatment there but I just thought I should relate my experience here as well. I just hope that I'm not further patronised by a robotic "We a sorry you didn't like the treatment " because it would just upset me further. I believe that Starbucks should introduce a visible statement of service expectation to reassure customers that they value not just our money but our custom as well. And please inform your staff that carrying mobile phones and using them while on duty is just unacceptable.”
