I ordered a Vail Stool when arrived and loved the chair. I ordered 4 more to match however Denver Modern shipped different chairs which did not match. I spoke to a manager who told me the the ones i ordered were discontinued and out of stock and appologized for having shipped the incorrect ones. She stated i would be refunded in full for all 5 chairs including shipping as it was an error made by Denver Modern. All 5 stools were picked up by a shipping partner however have not been refunded our funds nor has anyone called me to discuss.

I love my chairs and ottoman. But the customer service is horrible. Will keep me from ever ordering again.

We ordered the Avon counter stools. Quality is average to below average. Rather than using 2” (8/4 or 10/4) lumber for the legs, they’ve elected to laminate 3/4” boards together from which they mill the legs and frame. Unfortunately, the boards are delaminating and starting to show gaps. Further, they didn’t bother to grain or color match some of the boards that were laminated together, so colors are mismatched on several of the chair legs. Using 2” or 2.5” lumber would solve these issues, but my guess is that it’s cheaper for them to laminate 3/4” lumber together. Chairs are comfortable. The fabric and leather look nice. However I would avoid these chairs until they can increase the quality of the chair legs and frame.

Extremely long wait from time ordered — 7/1 order; received 10/11. My concern is the chairs arrived but the cushion covers are missing. This was reported at delivery and to customer service on Friday. I was told I would have an update today. However, this didn’t occur.

The chairs are good looking and I wish I could keep them, but they are uncomfortable to sit in. The back is too low and positioned at a very weird angle, which makes it impossible to comfortably lean back.

This is the 1st time I've purchased from Denver Modern and overall, was very dissatisfied with our whole experience. The product itself is beautiful, but the Denver Modern team was very unresponsive from the beginning. Over the course of three weeks, we emailed, called, texted, and live chatted online. We were given an incorrectly labeled leather swatch during our showroom visit and were not able to get ahold of anyone to confirm if it was the correct material so we could place our order. Our initial showroom visit with Alex was absolutely wonderful, but everything after that, was not. This was an order for a client so we dealt with the terrible communication, but had this been a personal order, I wouldn't have moved forward with it. This experience has left such a sour taste in my mouth so we will not be purchasing from Denver Modern again.

There delivery service came and ran delivering damaged boxes to prevent inspection and return. I called they company and left a message, eight days later I am still waiting on a promised return call.

The original order went smoothly. When a return was initiated the entire customer service experience changed dramatically. The process was handled in a very unprofessional manner with one error after the next.

The furniture is beautiful and we love our piece but the process of getting it and having issues with it has been terrible. The shipment itself took much longer than quoted to us and reaching someone in customer support is not easy. They don’t pick up their phones and when you do the call back option it takes forever to hear back. Our tables were delivered not assembled properly and there are no instructions for how to fix it. We can’t figure out how to fix it and customer support does not reply to us. For something so expensive we expected better service and quality.

We love the barstools but the communication in the process was horrible! We were told several different times of when the stools would arrive to the store and then we would be called to set up delivery, that never happened, and then they were actually shipped and tried to deliver when we were out of town for a week, without anybody notifying us that they were coming, I notified Denver modern about this, but ended up having to contact FedEx in rectifying the situation myself, because they are not helpful again.

I ordered stools 12 weeks ago. I was told 10-12 weeks for stools to leave warehouse for shipping. I had to reach out to get an update on this because we started approaching our 12 week point, and I was told there will still be another 10-14 day wait. 10-12 weeks is already a long wait, and it’s disappointing to be told that wait will be extended because of manufacturing delays. Keep your customers informed of these delays. We paid $3,000 for your stools, that is the least you can do. We still don’t have our stools. We have furnished our entire house in the meantime, and still waiting on these and they were the first item we ordered because they will be used so often in our kitchen. Frustrating.

The product delivered, after delays of course, is beautiful. However the quality has been disappointing and the service has ben atrocious. As of today we have called twice and sent 4 emails with NO REPLY. We are still waiting for someone to contact us back about our counterstools becoming unsewn after 1 month. Please note that each counterstool was over $600. However, we continue to receive several emails a week pertaining to marketing and asking for reviews, but not about the product we've actually purchased. The experience has been less than satisfactory especially since we were led to believe these were a high quality product purchased from a high-end store. I hope since you asked for an honest review this helps not only me to get a resonse but in your future business.
