Shocking avoid like the plaque unless like me you pay £2000 for a suite the arms go flat within 6 months and then you get someone out from Dfs to look at it to get told you haven’t looked afterwards it properly as you haven’t battered it into shape every night bearing in mind they are fixed arms, unless you have money to waste go elsewhere, I am now in the process of looking for a new sofa as this one looks about 10 years old and it is actually only 6 months old. DISGUSTING

My wife and I purchased a suite of Caldo furniture for £5,027 from DFS in Inverness. We did not notice in the showroom just how far the legs angle out. When we brought it home my wife and i would walk by and kick the legs so many times and it's really sore. We were willing to live with it however my wife's aunt who is 86 years of age and then our neighbour who is 74 both tripped on them. Thank God neither of them were hurt however that was it for us we spoke with DFS and needless to say their response was there is nothing we can do. I told them we did not pay this amount to bring a trip hazard into my home to hurt our friends and family. We are really disappointed with not just the design but the attitude of DFS - they clearly don't care.

So i purchased a 2 x sofa from DFS and had it delivered today. Noticed that there where no cushions with the sofa. So i questioned this with customer services who told me that this is a common complaint because people think the cushions come with it and they are separate. The store has called me back and said they are an additional cost. I explained that i did not see any price tag in the store and it was not explained to me they would be an additional charge. Other parts where explained and but nothing about the cushion. I was told by the store that i should have asked the questioned the questions! Even after speaking to the Manager there is nothing they did to resolve this problem which i think is poor customer service when the sales person did not explain this to me at the time of purchase. I bought as i seen it and i seen no price tags at the time. Very poor customer relations from the store

Follow up to my review regarding g large gap in the middle of 2 x 3 seater recliner sofas. After having further emails ignored, received a call today to be informed, that a gap is normal. Why I explained that I was frightened that my 7 month old granddaughters was going to sustain an injury I was told that she shouldn't be standing on the sofa. In my world it's normal for babies to stand and sit beside family on a sofa.

The viewing and purchase, delivery etc went well. The issue is with all their products, even the most expensive, is the durability. After a few years they look dreadful, with significant wear even with normal use. Never expect them to last beyond the interest free period even if you pay £3000 plus.

Persevered with our settees for months hoping we would get used to them , but they are so uncomfortable, the foam compresses to feel as hard as rock, what a waste of money.

After waiting few months I have got my “sofa bed” . Wow , what a experience . Cushions very low quality- after few days they look like few years old. Mattress- I would not offer any family member to sleep on it for one night, nothing inside, extremely uncomfortable. Milton Keynes DFS costumer service- hmmmm, I have called back minutes after miss call from them and there’s no one to answer... Really, save yourself money and stress and go elsewhere- you will get good quality. I wouldn’t take my sofa for free. Im done with DFS and I’m advising to everyone to stay away from it.

I purchased my 3 seater and 2 seater set from DFS Eastbourne in Feb '18. To look at, they are lovely sofa's, they cost sooooo much money and I genuinely thought I was buying quality when I sat on them in the showroom. We paid extra for the upgraded seat filling, and after 16 months, the seat pads are absolutely flat, and the sofa is incredibly uncomfortable. The sofa has an easy life, only sat on for around 3 hrs a day. Kills my back to sit on it, so I sit on a bean bag most nights. I would most definitely never buy from DFS again. The quality is just NOT there for the price you pay

I store they were very good. I ordered in mid Aug and was told 10 weeks delivery. In Sept I tried to cancel as I lost my job and couldn't afford it also found out I was to be a grandma and the sofa was velvet so not good with a little one.The delivery date was extended and extended and I finally received it mid Dec. There is no getting out of the contract as they say your sofa is bespoke ( just like the one Instore). I love my sofa however I would never order from them again. The wait is too long, the sofa is overpriced and customer care after sales is very bad.

Sofa delivered damaged... great start. Repaired by technician... broke same day... new recliner handle ordered.... 3 months later fitted... yep! Broke same day. £2000 for a sofa that was delivered not fit for purpose. Shocking and totally disappointed.

Just bought a three seater and two seater Aniesha sofas in grey. Sofas seem ok so far apart from threads hanging off seam lines. We bought the Gaurdsman protection policy where they state that your sofas will be sprayed with a protection spray, so that liquids split on the material will just form a bubble droplet as shown on the example card in store. When I did the water droplet test at home on my new sofas, the water just soaked straight into the material so I didn’t believe that my sofas had been sprayed. I phoned the store straight away and they insisted that they had been sprayed but didn’t provide me with any proof and I was made to feel stupid for even asking. Why show customers the sample cards with two sides, one protected and the other untreated with Guardsman spray, when they don’t spray the sofas! Here’s a photo of the test I did against the test card they gave me. It’s miss leading saying they spray your sofa for £193 then get the insurance policy thrown in for free. Just hope the policy works if we get any problems!

Quite pleased with the sofa we purchased and the delivery. Just were conned into buying easy glide feet for £30.00. These little feet fell off after a few weeks and we replaced them with felt ones from Amazon for £2.68 which work perfectly. We have been offered a refund but have to wait up to 10 days.... funny how the deposit was taken immediately but we have to wait for the refund. How many people don't bother returning these faulty feet? The staff in store did not bat an eyelid when we returned the sticky little things so I can only assume that they know they are rubbish when they are sold!!! Do not waste your money.

Same day my suite was delivered I rang about the back cushions shocking not enough filler . Looks like an unmade bed when it’s been sat on . A guy came week later and told me that’s how dfs sofas are made now and he was quite happy with it . Didn’t matter that I wasn’t . Absolute joke . He said if I wanted the cushions Fuller I could look for an upholstery to do it which would cost me around £200 and that dfs wouldn’t touch it ! What an absolute disgrace.
