“driver delivered a package. told me he had a 2nd package but there was a small fee due before he could release it. He wouldn't let me pay and said I'd get an email or text to pay online. No email or text arrived. Rang customer support...got transfered to a UK Gas utility company (seriously!!!). Rang back, got a helpful lady who transferred me but was cut off. The tracking details on their site says that I refused the package which is simply not true. Total shambles....looking at the reviews here, I may buckle in as this sage will not have a easy ending”

Been waiting for 4 weeks for my package to be given to me , have to pay extra money for customs from uk and paid it.
Waiting for the delivery that never came we took 2 days off work to be at home when they eventually did say it would be here !!
Have made 12 calls to DHL where the staff are very pleasant.
They Said that my only a part of my parcel is there and the rest is in another part of the country!!!!!
Told me the package they do have is waiting for me at Shannon.... I said no thats not right it's meant to be delivered to our home, to which they said for some reason the system says it was told by me to leave it at shannon fir me to collect (why I don't know!!!!)
The girl then said she could see that I actually wanted it delivered to my home but it is also saying that I have to come collect it too..... told them I paid 23euro for delivery I want it delivered because we can't travel for it. (Yes it's all so confusing)
So now for the past 3 days iv been calling 1st thing in the morning to get them to put this parcel in the van for delivery. Every day its the same thing "oh it doesn't seem to have been scanned" " il make a note on the system"
I'm INFURIATED. One month for a delivery is an absolute joke, especially when it's in the country and no one is bothering to put it in a van !
Absolutely disgraceful.
I understand brexit has made trouble but there is no excuse for the incompetence that has been displayed by DHL.”

“Would prefer to rate DHL Ireland as a zero. I have paid over 287 euros to have my daughter’s Christmas presents to be delayed, unable to access her account to pay the duties, no one answering the telephone or responding to customers inquiries. Finally get everything resolved and 2 days past when they stated that they would deliver the package these incompetent people still did not deliver the package like they promise. Now my daughter has nothing for Christmas. What a waste of money. Thanks for making her first Christmas away from home so lonely and terrible. Never again.”
“Would have rated zero if possible. 3 of my online orders were by DHL.
1st delivery: message received to say delivered. Nothing even though someone home all day. Turned out it was "delivered" elsewhere. Driver returned with order at 8pm.
2nd experience: Goods left vendor on time. DHL msg daily to say delivery due today. Took several calls before receiving after 10days. The gifts arrived too late for the intended occasion.
3rd experience: expected delivery 10 days. Ordered on 30th Nov. Now its 18th Dec. Nothing. Rang DHL. All I got was the goods are in Ireland and we will check.
DHL. Please learn from DPD or An Post, or even UPS. Thumbs down.”
