Avoid any company who uses DHL for fast delivery and just choose standard an post delivery.”

I would like to share my experience with DHL Express, and unfortunately, it is not a happy story. A month ago, I sent a package through DHL Express and I have not received it yet. Additionally, the company is trying to charge me storage fees, even though I sent all the necessary documentation in a timely manner.
I can't understand how a company like DHL Express can fail so terribly in its mission to provide quality transportation services. I trusted the company and now I feel extremely frustrated with the outcome.
I hope that DHL Express can learn from this experience and improve its services in the future. Until then, unfortunately, I cannot recommend the company to anyone.

“DHL text to me to say they had left my parcel over the side gate- which is right foot high. They threw it over without asking what was there/if that was ok. I was out and the package got destroyed then the product ripped apart my a dog.”
“I'd give 0 star if I could. It's never on time. Many times parcel just disappeared. Auto messages do not help at all. Other delivery companies are Brilliant compare to this one. Shame on you! You shouldn't get paid for this kind of service you provide”
“I originally contacted dhl about my delivery on the 4th of January. The customer service has been absolutely woeful. My package was picked up by send my bag on the 30th December from my house in Perth, Western Australia. My sister’s 21st birthday is tomorrow. She is in Dublin, I am in Australia, missing her so much and she will not have my present because dhl have the package stuck in customs for me to pay for the “packaged chocolate” that is not included in the parcel. I amended the packing list and invoice when I realised I could not send the chocolate before it was sent. I will pay any money to have the parcel released and sent to my sister LATE for her birthday. If anyone knows how to progress this issue I would be all ears! Customer service has not responded to me in several days and their communication has been overall terrible.”
“DHL Express, only with their name. My urgent parcel was received at DHL depot on Friday morning at 6 AM. They refused to deliver my parcel on time with the excuse, discrepancy with the address. The address was full and correct and with the air code, the only reason for the delay was that it was Friday.”

I had mobile phone delivery scheduled for Tuesday and was home all day on that day, driver never ringed(I only saw missed call after) and i got a message we did not reach you. Supposedly they could not ring intercom (if they read simple 1 sentence instruction on intercom it would work). So I used their system to change to pickup at Dublin DHL service point hoping I can pickup EOD. Then just called them to confirm that, but they said it will be next day so we rescheduled for deliver on next day instead. Next day i check tracking and they sent the item back to Belfast, saying delivery attempts exceeded!!! (sic! one attempt so far). Called again they said they send it back to me but because it's in Belfast will be back in next 2 days, now it's day 3 and the last status update is yesterday arrival to Belfast. Called them and in the morning and they said they'll work on it, but nothing changed, and i doubt I will even get this tomorrow (fiday). I selected express
delivery as I really needed device before holiday.

“I paid 43 euros via An Post who used DHL to ensure a v important package arrived to my daughter in Spain within 2 working days. That was Tuesday. Now it is after close of business Friday and still no sign of it. I don't know if they deliver over the weekend. My daughter and I are v anxious as this is so important. V hard to get help or to get a human to answer a call. I paid alot extra for a service that is much worse than ordinary mail.”

Collected at depot myself and driver complained to me when I rang him for directions. He was having his dinner even though not yet 5 oc. He was so rude on the phone. I paid dearly for that delivery by express. When I rang to complain I was told that it is noted in my file.”

I have been planning my wedding for more than 8 months now and it's supposed to be held next month. my wife and I are interested in the Pakistani style so we have ordered our wedding dresses from Pakistan as they are handmade. after receiving her dress we came to know that the package and the dress are damaged... imagine the wedding shoes were cut open, dress stitches were removed and damaged package got punctured with more than 20 openings !!!! now tell me how may I stop my wife from freaking out basically her wedding dress is damaged now.... this will be the last time to use DHL and yaaaa btw we won't get any refund back not even for the shipping as the shipping was done through a carrier so basically. my wife is gone mad, our wedding may be delayed, money loss, and no refund for anything. i really hope that DHL closes soon I don't recommend sending anything with them as they not trustworthy, and experts in making your life hard, and ya the call center that a different story they will keep on taking you into loops and loops and will treat you as if you are a slave!!! ..... if you want my opinion just don't consider DHL as you will regret it!!!
