“Operation Day - 15 September 2020 Sapphire Fue Hair Transplant Operation Graft Number 6500 I am writing to review my overall experience with Dr. Mehmet Demircioglu and his team at the Diamond Hair Clinic. After doing lots of researches I finally decided to take a trip to Istanbul. I chose Diamond Hair Clinic with Dr. Mehmet Demircioglu because: 1) the doctor is renowned specialist. 2) the doctor is performing the most critical part of the operation- the incisions. 3) they accept only one patient a day and the next day are off. 4) best value for the money- cost, quality and quantity. 5) lots of positive reviews online. Since they accept one patient a day I hurried to book my operation day and one week after I flew there. Upon arrival at Istanbul`s airport I was picked up by driver called Emir. He is very professional and the communication with him throughout my stay in Istanbul was perfect. The Elite Hotel I was staying is a luxury 5 stars located right next to Taksim square and close to many other sights. On the day of the operation I went to the Diamond Hair Clinic at 8 am. Dr. Mehmet Demircioglu and his two nurses welcomed me and then we had face to face consultation pre-operation with the doctor which lasted an hour. He drew a natural looking hairline and explained to me all the stages of the surgery. The nurse shaved my head and we started the first stage of the procedure where the two technicians extracted 5500 grafts from my donor area from the back of my head and 1000 graft from my beard in order to provide high density on the implanted area. After the extraction of the grafts I had my lunch break and then we proceeded to the second stage - the incisions which were done directly by the doctor himself using Sapphire blade. Third stage implanting the hair grafts was performed by the two nurses and was the longest one . During that period of time Dr. Mehmet came in numerous times to check that I was OK. When we finished the last stage the doctor explained to me after the operation process, medications and important points.He gave me his personal phone number to be able to contact him at any time and then I returned back to the hotel at 4:30 am ! The day after the operation I had to fully rest and on the next day I returned to the clinic for my first head wash. Dr. Mehmet gave me Shampoo and Vitamin Kit for use up to 6 months after surgery . During the first ten days after the operation, after each washing process, I had to send my four side head photos to the doctor for checking. Once the ten days were completed he demanded weekly head photos to follow my after operation progress. Nearly 3 months after the surgery, I started to see some good results. Although I`m in a "Shock Hair Loss" stage, some of my hair started to grow. Overall, I was very happy with the service I received! “Before i start let me share with you all ,this was my second hair transplant .even it was my second time in Turkey it wasn't easy to find the best clinic with the best results. I am very pleased with my decision of doing my second hair transplant with Dr. Mehmet Demircioglu of Diamond hair clinic. To start ,with i was planning to have my second hair transplant since beginning of this year as i noticed i lost a lot of hair from my crown area (almost bald). So i started my research ,even though i had my first hair transplant done in 2016 with Dr. Koray at Asmed, one of the reputated name in Hair transplan field . In search of better option with better result that can suits my budget too. I was somehow ok with the Dr. Koray results but wasnt happy with the post care . Long story short i was looking for better clinic, during my search i contacted almost 20 clinics in Istanbul. They all are offering me the price range of between 2000 Euro to 2700 Euro , but different numbers of grafts . Funny part is that they all asking me for the photos of my head from different angles and as soon as i sent the photos . Most of them came back staright away with the package and graft numbers just within few mins ,made me think is there real Doctor who looked at my photos or just assistant. After more research and going through other people review i came to know in most of the cases Dr. Is not even involve in the surgery ,he doesnt even draw the hair line.i.e you paying for clinic and Doctor name but your transplant is being performed by assistant or trainees. Anyhow i was impressed with some clinics when they came back to me and ask to send the photos of my head that wasnt took properly .it gave me the feel that atleast they look at my photo properly before deciding hiw many grafts i needed. It helped me to narrow down my search to few clinics . I decided to use this covid situation to do my transplant as i am off from work. My search got intense and i start asking more and more questions to this hair transplant climics. Finally i found two clinics where Dr. Performs the most important part of hair transplant( incisions). Dr Cinik and Dr.Mehmet Demircioglu I asked them to send me the details. After going through their packages , i found Dr. Cinik offeres me two kind of packages one where Doctor is involve (expensive one) and one without Doctor(Cheaper one) Diamonr Hair climic offers only one package with 100% involvement of Dr. Mehmet Demircioglu. The most important reason that help me to choose, Diamomd hair clinic for my second hair transplant is, 1.) they accept only one patient for a day . 2.) Dr. Mehmet Demircioglu performing the critical incisions part. Once i contacted Diamond hair clinic ,for the booking . They respond me with the professional way and provided me all the details with the availiability. I booked my spot for 6th of November 2020. I reached on 5th of November ,Driver was waiting for me . He droped me to my hotel ,on the way he stopped in the supermarket as i wanted to buy some stuff. On Morning of 6th November ,Driver picked me from the hotel around 7:30 am and took me to the Diamond hair clinic. I was hopping some assistant will come and talk to me . I was amazed ,Dr. Mehmet was there by himself . He took me into their cabin and we had long talk there. Where is clears all my doubts ,i was so pleased that Dr himself is there for me . Once i was fully confident , Dr. Drew the hair line for my transplant ,he drew few times unless i was ok with that hair line. He told me that he will use 4500 grafts from back of my head and 1000 grafts from my beard area as i already had one hair transplant before. He explained me that with this many numbers of grafts he can cover the other part of the head where i loosing the hair aswell beside my crown area. Was so good to see that Dr. Is involve so much and he is thinking as patient point of view. After the hair line draw, i was taken to the operation room . Where Dr. Mehmet experianced and professional nurse took the Grafts.during all this time Doctor came so many time to check on me to make sure everything is going perfect. After they took the grafts ,i had lunch in Doctors Cabin. After lunch me and Dr. Mehmet went to operation room for incisions process . I was so happy that the whole process is performed by one and only Dr. Mehmet ,event though this process took several hours but it was all done by Doctor himself. After incisions process ,Doctors team started planting process . As its a long process we took a break inbetween had the dinner and then finished the process . Cant believe we started 7:30 in morning and its nearly 2 am of next day and during all these long hours doctor was there. After the transplant Dr. Mehmet and me sat in his office ,where he took my photos and discuss the post opertaions precautions . He asked me to rest next day and come for was the day after tomorrow . He gave me his personal watts app number ( such a good feel) ,that means you can talk to doctor anytime if needed. Dont have to talk to nurse or assistants. He advised me to send the photo of my head every day for first 10 days and then every week for first few months. After explaning the use of medication we finished our day it was nearly 2:30 am . On 8th of November 2020 i came to Dr. Clinic for my first wash. Here again Dr. Mehmet washed my head and explained me the whole process . He gone through again with all medications took my photo and gave me the final good bye. Its already 5 days and i am talking to Dr.Mehmet everyday In the end i just wanna say i am hoping for the best result and am sure i will get it. But so far i am very happy with my experiance with Dr. Mehmet and Diamond hair clinic, its worth every single penny. I higly recommend Dr. Mehmet and Diamond hair clinic to my friends and family. I never seen doctor like Dr. Mehmet who was fully involved all the time during the transplant ,he cleared all my doubts in professional way. I liked the way he directly shares his number with patients so he can review the progress and provide the assistant if needed. I would focus on most critical parts of procedure and operational process around it to ensure comfort when going through surgery at foreign land most probably you have visited for first time. To start with I had an idea that Istanbul is hub for availability of hair transplant and cost effective through discussions with friends, when I started searching through web for hair transplant clinics in Istanbul their are hundreds of them comes up and most of them have very high rate of positive reviews and its really difficult to shortlist on which are top and trusty worthy clinics, reading through some of low rated reviews it was evident that their are many clinics where end to end surgery done by technicians and the surgeon was either there for name sake or just there on paper, most of the clinics offered english translator, Before going any further I had listed down my requirement as following 1.Clinic with good reviews 2.Dr took responsibility for end to end procedure and present through the process 3. Dr Spoke in English and explained every step 4. Dr made incisions which is most critical part of transplant 5. Provides end to end package. 6. Dr/Clinic is credited with credible international body, 7. Post care commitment. I had contacted several clinics and received response and price quote based on pictures I have sent, I was surprised to see many of those responses to be just mention of price and number of grafts they recommend to transplant, one that caught my eye was response from Diamond hair clinic which appeared very professional (more like medical analysis report) looking at I was sure that Dr Mehmet Demircioglu had looked in to every detail of my baldness and donar area based on which he had drawn possible new hairline and distribution of 6500 grafts between front area, mid area and crown area with Sapphire FUE Hair Transplant technique, I was convinced need of having higher number of grafts due to very thin hair density. However all other clinics recommended 3000-4000 grafts without giving much rationale, other striking factors were that Dr Mehmet Demircioglu did one procedure per day and apart from being FUE accredited he spoke excellent English, I cannot imagine a situation where I have to go through translator to understand what is happening over my head under anaesthesia . My Sapphire FUE Hair Transplant procedure was booked for 18th October 2020 and I arrived in Istanbul on 17th October, Driver was waiting for me outside Istanbul airport here I need to mention about transport guy Emir who works with Dr Dr Mehmet Demircioglu is very professional and communicates step by step details with you on WhatsApp throughout the entire transportation until you leave the Istanbul to Home, he dropped me from airport to Elite World Istanbul hotel which is decent hotel to stay which is in good location. On Operation day Driver took me from Hotel to Diamond hair clinic here I met Dr Dr Mehmet Demircioglu and his team for the first time, he is very professional person with friendly approach towards patient, it does not take much time for all concerns in your mind to go away and get settled, once you are comfortable Dr Dr Mehmet Demircioglu takes you through summary of procedures lined up for the day and starts with hair line design he doesn’t rush through the process rather draws and reviews until one is satisfied after which he uses permanent marker to finalise it took around 40 minutes, he takes time to explain details of procedure and what Is going to happen. Phase 1 of procedure hair follicles extraction from marked donor area is explained by Dr Dr Mehmet Demircioglu to his nurses and also explained to me on what will happen throughout extraction process, one need lay on stomach for this entire procedure as hair needs to be extracted from back of the head, nurses prepare for anaesthesia with needle-less anaesthesia device, even after that you will slight discomfort and pain during injection, I cannot imagine how it will be without the contactless anaesthesia, for about 4 hours nurses extracted 6500 grafts, Dr Mehmet Demircioglu every now and then updated on what percentage of extraction is complete, post extraction procedure he had already arranged for lunch break with rich meal. Throughout the extraction procedure one can take bio breaks by informing nurses or doctor. Phase2 of procedure Incisions, this is the most critical process of the procedure where thousands of micro incisions are made on your head hence it must be done by safe qualified hands, Dr Mehmet Demircioglu hair transplant surgeon made incisions with the sapphire blade and he engages with you constantly with several topics related to transplant, it took about four hour doctor to complete the process which was completed without any pain or discomfort. Phase3 of procedure is Implantation the most laborious and time consuming part, here two nurses relentlessly implanted extracted hair one by one and Dr Mehmet Demircioglu was present and constantly reviewing the progress and updated me on how much is left, implant finished for me around 3.30 AM next day morning and you can see Dr Mehmet Demircioglu even at so late their was no rush he calmly explains steps to be taken care post operation including taking utmost care of implanted area. Next day 19th October rested at hotel and later in the afternoon Emir took care of taking to airport for Covid test which is needed for return journey, same day Dr Mehmet Demircioglu was waiting for me around 9.00 PM at clinic for 1st wash he waked me through wash process since one need to repeat the same process for next 9 days, I had to get the wash done on next day of transplant since I had early morning return flight day after. I would like to highlight the post consultation commitment of Dr Mehmet Demircioglu he shares his number directly with patient and reviews progress and issues for next ten days any concerns or issues he clarifies immediately, so far its 3 weeks and Dr Mehmet Demircioglu is in touch with me and from now onwards he will review the progress on weekly basis for next one and half years that’s astonishing and worth the money you pay him. To summarise my experience with Dr Mehmet Demircioglu and Diamond hair clinic was they not only checked all my requirements but also executed all of them to my complete satisfaction, based on my conversation with Dr Mehmet Demircioglu its evident that he is passionate about providing good look to his patients, he prefers quality over quantity and expects money to be by product of his work than money being primary goal, I would recommend Dr Mehmet Demircioglu to my friends and family as he is very professional and trustworthy who delivers according to his commitments made during consultation. “I am writing a review on my experience with Diamond Hair Clinic. I planned a FUE/diamond sapphire blade hair transplant in September of 2020. First of all I wanted to mention my experience with booking. Diamond Hair Clinic’s staff was very understanding and very professional in the booking process. I originally was supposed to have my appointment in March of 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I had to reschedule. So, I managed to reschedule my appointment to August in which the day that my flight was going to depart, my flight got canceled. I felt really bad and determined, but Diamond Hair Clinic, understood my situation, and allowed me to rebook my appointment to September 9, 2020. When I arrived in Turkey, I was picked up from the Istanbul Airport and was contacted by one of Emir’s drivers. I had very detailed instructions on where to meet and I made it to the Limo van with ease. The ride was very smooth and pleasant. I was accompanied by my wife, which was great support. We then arrived at the Elite World Istanbul hotel, which was a very nice place to stay. The staff was amazing. Even though their English was very limited, they had patience to try to understand what we were needing. I am not going to go to much into detail about the hotel because this is a review for Diamond Hair Clinic. The next morning, I was picked up by another one of Emir’s drivers where I was escorted to the hospital to have my hair transplant performed. I was really excited and nervous! I was deciding to finally take a leap of faith and cut my hair that I have been growing for the past 15 years in dreadlocks!! When I got to the clinic, I was greeted by Dr. Mehmet Dermicioglu and his 2 assistants with a smile and comforting welcoming. I was then taken to a room where they took my blood to test and shave my hair. Ugh! I was feeling at the moment, loosing my hair, but I was ready for a change! Afterwards I went back to Dr. Mehmet Dermircioglu's office where he explained the procedure and measured my hair for a precise hairline. I told him exactly what I was looking for. He definitely had patients because I believe there was some miscommunication on my end of how I wanted my hairline. When he drew my first line, I did not like it, so he showed me examples on his phone, in which I agreed with one exactly what I was looking for. Dr. Mehmet then again patiently measured and redrew my line. It was perfect!! I was excited to finally see what it would look like from that point. Before the procedure, Dr. Mehmet then asked for the payment, where I had brought only a credit card, because I did not like to walk around with cash, and I thought it was accepted. In which they were, but the machine would have taken an additional 20% commission from the transaction. Dr. Mehmet did something that shows great character. He did not want me to pay any extra commissions with the credit card. After trying multiple ways of trying to get cash sent from my American accounts, we kept failing due to the weekend. Dr. Mehmet then trusted me that I will wire him the payment once I returned to the States. I could not believe how trustworthy and compassionate he was, as he did not know me at all. But he had trust in me (by the way - I sent the payment immediately). OK, now on to the procedure. I was brought into the operation room where I was given the local anesthesia, and man... was that a painful experience for about 10 minutes. But once the anesthesia kicked in, I rarely felt any pain. Dr. Mehmet’s assistance were great at asking if I was ok and if I was in any pain. The two assistance then pulled 5000 grafts from the back of my head and 1000 grafts from the bottom of my beard totaling 6000 grafts to implant. This was great because in my original consultation, I was quoted to have 5500 grafts transplanted. After that I was able to eat the lunch provided by the doctor, which I ate really well. It was a little hard to eat because of the anesthesia under my beard, but it was not that bad. After I ate, I was then taken back to the surgery room where Dr. Mehmet opened up my recipient channels with the Diamond Sapphire Blade. There was hardly any pain, just more so a little of discomfort from the surgeon bed that I laid on. When Dr. Mehmet was done opening my channels, his assistants returned to implant the grafts. It was a LONG DAY, due to some delays and minor occurrences. Dr. Mehmet stayed the whole time throughout the whole surgery, even when his team was performing the implants. My procedure ended up taking 20 hours, and everyone was exhausted. Dr. Mehmet and his team was very professional and worked very hard to make sure that that I had as much coverage as possible. For the most part there was no pain, except for when the anesthesia started to wear off. When I was done, roughly around 4:00am, the team had implanted 500 grafts on each of my temples totaling 1000 grafts, 2500 grafts in my frontal area, 1000 grafts in my mid area, and 1500 grafts in my crown area. Dr. Mehmet then gave me his personal number, medication, Greft Plus hair kit which included vitamins, shampoo, and soothing cream for donar area. He messaged me with detailed instruction on what to use and when. The next day, I rested at the hotel for the whole day, and was shocked that I did not have any sort of pain still. I admired the work that was performed. The final day, I went back to the clinic where Dr. Mehmet had given me my first wash with the foam shampoo, that was also provided. From there he gave me more instructions and answered any questions that I had from that point. I was then escorted back to the airport by Emir himself, which gave tremendous service throughout my whole trip. I am currently one month into my hair transplant and communicating with Dr. Mehmet weekly. Everything seems to be on track. I cannot speak on the final results as I am still early in the the transplant stage, but I can say that I enjoyed my overall experience, and would definitely recommend Diamond Hair Clinic.”

I felt really bad and determined, but Diamond Hair Clinic, understood my situation, and allowed me to rebook my appointment to September 9, 2020. When I arrived in Turkey, I was picked up from the Istanbul Airport and was contacted by one of Emir’s drivers. I had very detailed instructions on where to meet and I made it to the Limo van with ease. The ride was very smooth and pleasant. I was accompanied by my wife, which was great support. We then arrived at the Elite World Istanbul hotel, which was a very nice place to stay. The staff was amazing. Even though their English was very limited, they had patience to try to understand what we were needing. I am not going to go to much into detail about the hotel because this is a review for Diamond Hair Clinic. The next morning, I was picked up by another one of Emir’s drivers where I was escorted to the hospital to have my hair transplant performed. I was really excited and nervous! I was deciding to finally take a leap of faith and cut my hair that I have been growing for the past 15 years in dreadlocks!! When I got to the clinic, I was greeted by Dr. Mehmet Dermicioglu and his 2 assistants with a smile and comforting welcoming. I was then taken to a room where they took my blood to test and shave my hair. Ugh! I was feeling at the moment, loosing my hair, but I was ready for a change! Afterwards I went back to Dr. Mehmet Dermircioglu's office where he explained the procedure and measured my hair for a precise hairline. I told him exactly what I was looking for. He definitely had patients because I believe there was some miscommunication on my end of how I wanted my hairline. When he drew my first line, I did not like it, so he showed me examples on his phone, in which I agreed with one exactly what I was looking for. Dr. Mehmet then again patiently measured and redrew my line. It was perfect!! I was excited to finally see what it would look like from that point. Before the procedure, Dr. Mehmet then asked for the payment, where I had brought only a credit card, because I did not like to walk around with cash, and I thought it was accepted. In which they were, but the machine would have taken an additional 20% commission from the transaction. Dr. Mehmet did something that shows great character. He did not want me to pay any extra commissions with the credit card. After trying multiple ways of trying to get cash sent from my American accounts, we kept failing due to the weekend. Dr. Mehmet then trusted me that I will wire him the payment once I returned to the States. I could not believe how trustworthy and compassionate he was, as he did not know me at all. But he had trust in me (by the way - I sent the payment immediately). OK, now on to the procedure. I was brought into the operation room where I was given the local anesthesia, and man... was that a painful experience for about 10 minutes. But once the anesthesia kicked in, I rarely felt any pain. Dr. Mehmet’s assistance were great at asking if I was ok and if I was in any pain. The two assistance then pulled 5000 grafts from the back of my head and 1000 grafts from the bottom of my beard totaling 6000 grafts to implant. This was great because in my original consultation, I was quoted to have 5500 grafts transplanted. After that I was able to eat the lunch provided by the doctor, which I ate really well. It was a little hard to eat because of the anesthesia under my beard, but it was not that bad. After I ate, I was then taken back to the surgery room where Dr. Mehmet opened up my recipient channels with the Diamond Sapphire Blade. There was hardly any pain, just more so a little of discomfort from the surgeon bed that I laid on. When Dr. Mehmet was done opening my channels, his assistants returned to implant the grafts. It was a LONG DAY, due to some delays and minor occurrences. Dr. Mehmet stayed the whole time throughout the whole surgery, even when his team was performing the implants. My procedure ended up taking 20 hours, and everyone was exhausted. Dr. Mehmet and his team was very professional and worked very hard to make sure that that I had as much coverage as possible. For the most part there was no pain, except for when the anesthesia started to wear off. When I was done, roughly around 4:00am, the team had implanted 500 grafts on each of my temples totaling 1000 grafts, 2500 grafts in my frontal area, 1000 grafts in my mid area, and 1500 grafts in my crown area. Dr. Mehmet then gave me his personal number, medication, Greft Plus hair kit which included vitamins, shampoo, and soothing cream for donar area. He messaged me with detailed instruction on what to use and when. The next day, I rested at the hotel for the whole day, and was shocked that I did not have any sort of pain still. I admired the work that was performed. The final day, I went back to the clinic where Dr. Mehmet had given me my first wash with the foam shampoo, that was also provided. From there he gave me more instructions and answered any questions that I had from that point. I was then escorted back to the airport by Emir himself, which gave tremendous service throughout my whole trip. I am currently one month into my hair transplant and communicating with Dr. Mehmet weekly. Everything seems to be on track. I cannot speak on the final results as I am still early in the the transplant stage, but I can say that I enjoyed my overall experience, and would definitely recommend Diamond Hair Clinic.”

“After spending a long time researching hair transplant clinics in Turkey i eventually chose Dr Mehmet Demircioglu at Diamond Hair Clinic. The procudure i chose was Sapphire Fue Hair Transplant. After emailing pictures of my head to Dr Mehmet i was advised i would need 3500 grafts. I travelled to Istanbul on 29th September and even before my arrival my driver Emir contacted me to let me know he would be waiting on my arrival to Istanbul to transport me directly to the Hotel provided by Diamond Hair Clinic. On the morning of the procedure i was met by Emir at the hotel and taken to meet Dr Mehmet at the hospital. I had my blood tests taken and after this i went into a consultation with Dr Mehmet. This took roughly an hour and he discussed with me the procedure and designed my new hair line, initially i was supposed to receive 3500 grafts but after evaluating my donor area and recipient area Dr Mehmet decided 4500 grafts would be a much better option (he did not charge me more for this) The procedure was done in three stages. Firstly the extraction of hair from the donor area. Secondly, the incisions were made by the saphire blade and thirdly the implantation of the hair. Once the procedure was complete i was again taken by Emir back to the hotel. On the day of the first wash i was collected again by Emir to go back to the hotel and Dr Mehmet performed the first wash. He spoke in great detail with me about the aftercare procedure and gave me his direct number if i had any questions or problems and instructed me to send him daily pictures to update him with my progress. After this Emir drove me back to the airport for me to return home. Dr Mehmet and his team were very very good and i have already reccomended him to a friend who is thinking of getting the same procedure. “Hello everyone. I'm here to talk about my hair transplant surgery performed with Dr. Mehmet Demircioglu at Diamond Hair Clinic. For 10 years I have been experiencing hair loss when I decided to have my first hair transplant in the country where I live, Brazil. I was not satisfied with the result in the medium term and decided to do another one, however with much more research and knowledge on the subject (knowledge I lacked in the first surgery to choose the right doctor). I started an endless search on the internet to find a clinic in Turkey that was fit for what I wanted. This was one of the most difficult stages. There are many clinics in Istanbul. Pictures of doctors as if they were movie stars with a team of 50+ people. Why does a hair transplant doctor need such a large team? And why celebrity pictures of doctors? That didn't sound right. The more you search the more clinics with “superprofessional” sites appear to you. I chose a selection of some clinics to read reviews of all. I think I read 400 more reviews. In many clinics, what I could understand, the doctor said good morning and his team was responsible for the rest of the operation, so the clinic is named with his name but he did not perform the surgery, seriously? Any chance of feeling comfortable with the surgery being done without doctor's supervision, or worse, by a team that we do not know if they are graduated doctors? It was then that I managed to get to the Diamond Hair clinic, because I read a review of a person on a hair transplant forum. This person said that, of the few doctors that he knew who actually did the surgery, one of them was Dr Mehmet. I did the research under the name of Dr Mehmet and arrived at the Diamond Hair Clinic website. I started to read all the doctor's reviews, because I was not willing to risk surgery again to go wrong. What first caught my attention was that Dr. Mehmet saw one patient a day, that is, you had exclusive care. What was to be obvious when you choose the doctor to perform your surgery is that he really does, but it is not what happens most of the time. The surgery I chose in Brazil was not performed by the doctor, but by his team (I don't know if they were doctors) and he disappeared at the end of the consultation. This is more normal than you might think in these hair transplant “factories” in Turkey. Some clinics give you the option of having the surgery done by the doctor himself, but at twice the price. I talked to Dr Mehmet's team via WhatsApp, sent photos of my hair and got the budget. I liked the response and the treatment received and scheduled the surgery for September 21st. The total cost of the surgery included 3 days in a hotel on Taksim Square and transportation from and to airport as well as to clinic. I arrived on September 20 in Istanbul and transportation was already waiting for me at the airport. You speak directly to the driver and he gives you the instructions to find him. On September 21st, I went to the clinic, the driver showed up at the door at 7:40 am, as the coffee at the hotel starts at 7:00 am and they recommend a good breakfast, without rush. I met Dr Mehmet in his office and we had a conversation for 1 hour to talk about the doubts and the design I would like for the transplant. In this part, he explains how the surgery is performed and explains the Sapphire Fue Hair transplant technique. We agreed in 6500 grafts, as I had a lot of hair in the donor region, which gave me the capacity for this extraction. Dr drew on my head what he considered to be a natural hairline as well as an analysis of symmetry of the face, where he states that his forehead has to be equivalent to approximately 1/3 of the face. The surgery is performed in 3 parts. Extraction, incision and implantation. The extraction consists of removing the tufts of hair from the donor region. The incision, the most important part, is where Dr Mehmet makes the holes in the scalp of the head where the grafts will be placed. The incision angle as well as the distribution of the holes will represent the future of your capillary appearance. It is important that this part is done by a doctor, as there are blood vessels in your head where I feel comfortable only if a doctor does this job. That's why my relentless search for the doctor who actually does the surgery. After the incision comes the most time-consuming part: implantation. This part took about 4 hours. During the three stages of the surgery, his team performs the extraction and implantation, which is a more mechanized process and Dr Mehmet performs the incision. Throughout the surgery, Dr Mehmet is present for supervision and control. I entered the operating room at about 10:00 am and left at 11:00 pm. It is a tiring surgery for everyone, so much so that Dr and his team have surgery one day and rest the next. At the end of the surgery, Dr Mehmet gave me his personal number, where we exchanged messages. He asks that for 10 days you send a picture of your head every day, and for a year and a half you send pictures of your head every week. He is always ready to answer your questions no matter how basic. This is a doctor for patient care, which you can count on. After 2 days you go back to the hospital and he removes his bandage and personally teaches you how to wash your head. You receive a Shampoo and Vitamin Kit for use up to 6 months after surgery. “Operation Day - 25 August 2020 Sapphire Fue Hair Transplant I am writing to review my experience with Dr Mehmet Demircioglu at the Diamond Hair Clinic and my overall feelings of the trip as a whole. Admittedly I probably did a lot less research than most when it came to choosing what clinic I would proceed with. Initially I considered staying within the UK since I had heard some negative feedback about travelling to Turkey but after contacting a couple clinics in Scotland I just did not get a good, trustworthy vibe from them. It felt very much like I was dealing with salesmen rather than professionals. The Diamond Hair Clinic was the first clinic I reached out to in Turkey, followed by around 3 others. The response time and quality from Diamond was by far the best and once I realised they only carried out one procedure a day, I had more or less made up my mind. The contact with Diamond was regular and they were always very quick and informative with their responses. Upon arrival I was picked up relatively quickly with the transport being very responsive and friendly. The drive from the airport did not take too long and was very comfortable. Probably my only concern of the whole trip was when my transport pulled up to a different hotel than I had been told but this was solved instantly and was only due to the Covid situation. They apologised profusely for not having let me know and the new hotel was perfectly nice. On operation day I was understandably a little nervous because I did not know what to expect from the clinic, or to be honest the procedure. The clinic was extremely clean and modern and so put me at ease. Dr Mehmet was very welcoming and was in no hurry to get things going, he was happy to take his time, explain what would happen and then get to work on designing the hairline. I was surprised how thorough he was when doing this and would regularly rub out and redo when he wasn't 100% satisfied. Of course I had a say on the hairline and once happy we could get going. This pre-op consultation lasted around 1 hour. I received a total of 5000 grafts from the donor area which was completed in one sitting. Ironically, I found the only painful part of the procedure to be the pain relief injections themselves. Any discomfort after that came from not being able to move for long periods of time which, admittedly I found very difficult because I don't like staying still for too long! It was a very long day which you have to prepare yourself for which is probably why I found it challenging. I was constantly being asked if I was alright and could request toilet breaks (thank goodness). Dr Mehmet made the incisions himself and often checked up on the progress when not directly involved. Afterwards Dr Mehmet took me into his office, gave me his personal number and I got back to the hotel around 1am. After my rest day I went back to the clinic for my first hair wash. Dr Mehmet was very informative and explained exactly how to use the numerous aftercare products provided. Again, the transport ran very smoothly and I was taken directly to the airport afterwards. The journey back was something I was extremely nervous about because it is very obvious you have had a hair transplant. I am not going to pretend it was enjoyable but after seeing two dozen guys at the airport in the same situation I was put at ease. Once home I was in contact with Dr Mehmet everyday for the first 10 days, constantly sending photos. Since then I have been sending photos once a week and so far I am extremely happy with how things are going. “i have been losing hair ever since i was 15, so i rushed to have a surgery in new york. the surgery was a failure, very little grafts with absolutley no help. finally i made the decision to fly to turkey and get mt hair done right. although i didnt care who transplanted my hair, my mother wanted the best of the best for me so she did alot of research and found diamond hair clinic to be one of the best in turkey. i got sapphire fue hair transplant on august 18 2020. they extracted a total of 5000 grafts from my hair and beard and chest donor areas. and for one hair transplant session its a very high number. when working out everything with mr mahmud who was texting me on whatsapp. he was available 24/7 and it seems like he doesent sleep because he answers so quick and makes everythimg as easy as possible. i landed in turkey and was immideatley greeted by the driver, amir. i was given his phone number of course, so that way we could stay in touch and on the same page. he picked up in a beutiful mercedes and took me to my hotel room which was very nice. the next day i had my operation. just before starting my operation, during the consultation the doctor evaluated my donor area and decided to increase total graft number. before the beggining of the operation, we had the consultation with the doctor. which i though would take around 5 minutes, it took nearly 60 minutes because the doctor wanted it to be perfect. because it is only one patient per day they did not rush the operation. having only one patient per day allows the clinic to give each and every patient maximum benefit and results. first the doctor and i designed my hairline together to make sure it looked good. the doctor was very flexible and listened to all my suggestions when it came to designing my hair line. during the operation the doctor controlled everything. as a hair transplant surgeon the doctor directly made my incisions with a saphire blade. the doctors team made the extraction and implantation. after the operation the doctor explained the medication and the important points of maintaining my hair transplant so it can be successful as possible. after the operation, the doctor gave me his personal number, and i will be able to contact the doctor directly every time. during the first ten days after the surgery, after all my washes i sent 4 side pictures of my head”

“After talking to the team at Diamond Hair Clinic via Whatsapp, I decided to travel to Istanbul for them to do my Sapphire Fue hair transplant with Dr Mehmet Demircioglu in August this year. I chose this surgeon because he personally carries out this operation on only one patient per day, he seemed professional and the team were really helpful and answered my questions whatever time of day I asked. I just had a really good feeling about them. The team arranged the hotel for me and my partner to stay at as well as transportation to and from both the airport and clinic. The hotel we stayed in was nice and very clean which is important given that we visited in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic. The drivers contacted me personally before each journey to introduce themselves and let me know what time they would be picking me up as well as sending pictures of their car so I knew I'd be getting in the right one. On the day of the operation I was picked up from the hotel by my driver at 7:45 and taken to the clinic. This is when I had my first face to face consultation with Dr Mehmet which lasted almost an hour. Here we discussed how I wanted my hairline to look and he drew a natural looking hairline on to check I was happy with it. Dr Mehmet evaluated the donor area that he was going to take the hair from and decided that he was going to increase the number of grafts to 5500 - this was a high number for a one session operation but he did this to give me better coverage and provide high density. He also explained all the stages of the procedure to me and made me feel welcome and at ease, but more importantly he made me feel safe. From here he shaved off my hair ready for the procedure to start. Two of the nurses on Dr Mehmet's team did the first stage of the procedure where they extracted hair from the donor area to be implanted later. The doctor then made the incisions himself using the sapphire blade as agreed (this was the important bit!) and the nurses then came back to implant the grafts. During this time Dr Mehmet came in numerous times to check that I was ok. Because I am from the UK and was having an operation in a foreign country it really put me at ease that the doctor spoke really good English as I felt like he understood exactly what I was saying. Even though this was a big operation there was virtually no pain throughout. I went back 2 days later (after my rest day) for Dr Mehmet to check the progress and also carry out my first hair wash. Again this transport was arranged by the clinic for me. When I was there he showed me the different shampoos/creams etc and explained how I should be using them and for how long. He gave me his personal number so that I could ask him any questions I had after my operation. For the first 10 days after the operation I sent him progress pictures after each wash so he could see how I was getting on. Now I am sending him one set of pictures per week. He has always come straight back to me and answered my questions.”

“After many months of considering a hair transplant and doing lots of research I finally decided to make the trip to Istanbul. I myself come from London and paying over £10,000 here for a transplant was just out of the question. First of all, I spent a lot of time researching different clinics and there are just so many to look at and many reviews that just didn't sound believable. There are around 2,000 clinics in Istanbul so making a decision can be pretty difficult and whoever you choose, even if they have good reviews is a gamble! Diamond Hair Clinic came up in a lot of searches showing positive reviews so I made contact with them on Whatsapp. Dr Mehmet's assistant is a guy called Mahmoud and he is extremely helpful and answered all of my questions and concerns. Personally, I don't think this man ever sleeps as he will literally able to answer any questions at any time of day or night! Also, he was not too pushy to try and get me to book, whereas many other clinics will keep phoning you at all sorts of time putting pressure on you to book with them. Prior to booking I received my quote which was emailed to me, including a detailed outline of what Dr Mehmet intended to do and a full breakdown of cost, transport, hotel and before and after photos. As well as this I was sent lots of information on the sapphire FUE technique to read. So I decided to book my flights and sent them confirmation which is all they needed as a deposit (so you pay nothing up front). Once this was done I received a full itinerary outlining my pick up times for transfers from the airport to the hotel, hotel to hospital and back to the airport on the 4th day. Very professional and well detailed so I had no worries. Diamond Hair Clinic have a great driver called Emir. This man speaks great English is a really nice guy. Once again, he was extremely helpful and was always on time and waiting for you outside the hotel or hospital. On my operation day, I was very well looked after by Dr Mehmet and his team. It was a long day which I had kind of expected, however 5,000 grafts does take from morning until night! I made sure I ate well before the operation and I also had lunch provided at the hospital to keep me awake! The operation itself does not hurt, however the needles injecting the anaesthetic into your scalp at the start can be painful. Don't worry as this only lasts a few minutes until your head is numb! Throughout the operation Dr Mehmet was there all day to let me know how we were doing and what was going on as I was blindfolded for a fair amount of it. After the operation, I was given a 6 month aftercare kit with plenty of usage instructions from Dr Mehmet. When I got back to the hotel, I had to sleep upright with the neck pillow which I was given by Dr Mehmet, .This keeps your head upright to not damage the grafts which you continue for the next 5 days. The day after the operation, I spent it relaxing at the hotel. I had a few bandages around my head which left me a little self conscious about going to breakfast as I thought people would stare. However, I realised that there are plenty of other people there for the same thing and the Turks are extremely used to it! After that I went back to my room and watched TV and ordered room service. The hotel was really nice and it was 5 star. The day after I went back to the hospital in the morning for the first wash with Dr Mehmet followed by some final instructions and I was then driven straight to the airport for my flight at 2pm. At the airport I saw many men who had also clearly also had transplants! For the first 10 days post operation, I would send Dr Mehmet photos of my head which he has asked for. He will give you his personal number so you stay in contact with him over whatsapp and he can answer anything pretty much at any time! After the first 10 days, I am now sending photos weekly on a Sunday so he can track the progress. I am currently writing this 2 weeks post op. Ultimately, I cannot comment on the full results as it is extremely early. Overall, I was extremely happy with the service I received! Dr Mehmet is a great guy and will make sure you get everything need by using Diamond Hair Clinic.”

Hi Mr Ray, firstly you have never been our hair transplant patient and you had not operation in Diamond Hair Clinic. Yesterday, you contacted us by WhatsApp and you asked the price. But according to our working principles we can't share price or any other information without receiving head photos from patients. Our hair transplant surgeon Dr Mehmet Demircioglu evaluate them one by one. Every day a few hours the doctor evaluate patient candidates photos. After this evaluation, we prepare a medical report and we send it to with email to patients. It is our working approach. But unfortunately, you did not accept to share your head photos with us and you insulted us on the Whatsapp with pretty bad words. But we protected our respect and we did not reply it. You don't have the right to talk us like that. We shame to share your insults here and we didn't deserve it. We did only our job and wanted your head photos. We are sorry about your situation because most probably you have a problem with yourself. “After shaving my head for the best part of 20 years, I decided to grow my hair. I noticed it was uneven, receeding and balding in certain areas and decided to I wanted a hair transplant. My wife spent weeks researching and emailing clinics and came across Diamond Hair Clinic. After reading a multitude of fantastic reviews, we decided to enquire using their online and Whatsapp services. We were so impressed with the initial report, which explained the procedure, using photographs to show where grafts would be put. After a lot of conversation through whatsapp (With lots of before/after photos) and information we decided to book in for the procedure in July. Aside from the personal responses made through this communication, one of the main reasons we chose Diamond Hair Clinic was the ‘1 person per day’ transplant policy. There was some uncertainty because of the pandemic, but not expecting any upfront payment until the day of operation was reassuring and all we needed to do was book our flights as proof of confirmation to set the operation date. It was proposed that Dr Mehmet Demircioglu would complete a Sapphire Fue Hair Transplant and use 5500 grafts. Upon arriving to Istanbul, we were collected by a fantastic transfer driver and taken to our hotel. Operation Day was 22 July 2020 and the grafts were taken from my hair donor area which was to provide high density on the implanted area and cover all empty areas of my head. Just before starting operation, in pre-operation consultation Dr Mehmet evaluated the donor area and necessary hair graft amount again and after that decided to increase operation total graft number to 6500 grafts without any extra charge. Before the beginning of the operation, I had a pre-operation consultation with the doctor face to face. As I was the only patient in that day, Dr Mehmet took his time and the consultation lasted around 1 hour. This was very reassuring as he took his time to plan the hairline in consultation with me and I was confident with his expertise. Doctor designed natural hairline that contained irregular areas and little waves so it did not look straight and un-natural. The doctor checked hairline again and again. During operation the doctor controlled everything. The operation was expected to take 9-12 hours and ended up taking 14 hours. After the operation doctor explained to you after the operation process, medications and important instructions. It was mentioned during the consultation that out of 500 clinics in Istanbul, Diamond Hair clinic was one of approx. 5 that offered aftercare. This shocked me that there are places that wouldn’t offer this! After the operation, the doctor gave me his personal number, and I could contact him daily with photo updates for the progress of the healing process. The day after operation, a member of the Diamond Hair Clinic Team came direct to our hotel to wash and check my hair. Upon arriving home, I sent 4 photos (of each side of head) after every washing process to doctor for checking where I was given personal advice for how to take care of my healing head. Although it has only been 2 weeks and I have a long healing process ahead, I am pleased with my progress and definitely made the right decision choosing Dr Mehmet! Thank you.”

“Today is the 10th day after my procedure in Daimound Hair Clinic. About myself, I'm a 30 year old African American male, from the United States. I had a hair transplant in the states a few years ago, and it was an awful experience that produced no results. So I was very skeptical and spent 1.5 years researching clinics. I decided that a transplant in turkey would be my best option. Turkey is filled with clinics, so the options were overwhelming. I contacted at least 20 clinics in turkey. I did several consultations and got responses ranging from donor hair was too depleted for another procedure, to 3,000 grafts was possible. Knowing I had a weak donor area, I decided I needed to focus on quality and not price. I was reading reviews for different hair clinics on an forum online. I ran across a review from a guy who went to Diamound Hair clinic, the review was very detailed and he said it was the best decision he ever made. So I decided to reach out to them. Mahmud is the doctor's assistant and my point of contact on WhatsApp. He sent my photos to the doctor and I recieved my consultation by email the next day. Mahmud was great, he quickly answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. Since I already had a bad experience and was very insecure about my hair loss, this was an emotional process for me, but Mahmud did a good easing my anxiety_( trust me that is not easy to do). So I decided to book with Diamond Hair Clinic. First, no deposit was needed, many I contacted required a deposit before they would hold a date for you. All transportation and hotel reservation was scheduled and was a very easy stress free experience. OPERATION DAY. Once I arrived at the clinic I met dr. Demircioglu, my first impression was he was younger than most doctors. After having a 60 minute pre-operation consulation, he eased all the anxiety I had, he was very informative and confident. He took his time to draw my hairline design, and after evaluation he decided he could do 5,000 grafts instead of 3,000 no extra charge. I knew my donor area was weaker than most, that made me so happy I could barely hold in my excitement. I got a lot more than I was initially expecting. The procedure was 15 hours and most part painless. After the operation I rested in hotel for a day. I returned the next day for the first wash with Dr. Demircioglu. After the wash he provided medication and after care instructions. The doctor gave me his personal number to contact him directly. Dr. Demircioglu was very nice and super informative. His staff is excellent and the experience exceeds all my expectations. From a guy who had an expensive transplant in the US and contacted over 20 clinics in istanbul. Diamound hair clinic by far was the best experience from the beginning. They are more expensive than other in the area, but the quality is well worth the extra price and more. Mahmud was the friendliest of all the clinics contact personnel. I will recommend this clinic to anyone who is considering a transplant. “I can only echo the other reviews already written by others. The whole process is exactly as described. The price is all inclusive so you don’t need to worry about any details (hotel, transport, creams, hair shampoo, etc.). Dr Mehmet is really professional and really takes his time to try and perfect your hairline before actually starting the process. He also indeed increased my number of grafts as well beyond what was agreed (from 5500 to 6100). In his view you pay for one day of the process so he just wants to leave a fully happy customer which is a great attitude. I’m now about 10 days post operation, have massaged the scabs off and can see my new hairline - it genuinely looks great and people are commenting on it as well. I look forward to seeing the full progress and will try to update this review in some months’ time to hopefully help!”

“I was looking into the whole process for months, I eventually chose Dr mehmet demircioglu and diamond hair clinic. We had agreed on 4000 grafts before I travelled over but after shaving my head and seeing it in person he thought 5000 grafts would give me a much better result. Not extra cost! The doctor and his nurses (Who were very respectful and polite all day)extracted 5000 hairs from my donor area, the whole day was long for all, hopefully in a few months time when he hair starts to grow the result is perfect. The operation type was sapphire fue technique which will leave no scars on the scalp. The doctor made the incisions himself, the nurses extracted the hairs and implanted where the doctor made the incisions. Before we started I had a pre operation consultations face to face with the doctor, it wasn’t just a five minute thing it was over 30 minutes. As I was the only patient that day there was no rush, I skipped breakfast accidentally on the day and they even took the time to get me breakfast. The doctor drew on my hairline and talked me through it ensuring i was happy with what he was doing, it wasn’t just a straight hairline, it is better than that when hair regrows it will look natural. During the operation I couldn’t see much but the doctor was controlling the operation, afterwards he sat me down and explained in detail (i had to take notes to remember everything) everything that i had to do post operation. Post operation the next day in the evening i went back to the hospital and met back up with Dr mehmet demircioglu For my first wash on donor area and transplanted area where he then re explained everything and gave me aftercare products for free. From start to finish of the whole process diamond hair clinic provided transfers everywhere, from the airport - everywhere! The doctor gave me his personal phone number to contact him anytime, which i have done, i’ve contacted him so much! Everyday post operation for ten days i had to send pictures over the 4 sides of my head So that the doctor could check on my recovery process. “I went to Diamond Hair Clinic for my hair transplant. It is a clinic owned and operated by Dr Mehmet Demircioglu. They specialize in FUE hair transplant using the Sapphire FUE Hair Transplant technique. Sapphire is a diamond blade that the doctor uses, and its benefits include that it make small precise incisions so that the donor area and recipient area can heal quicker. I believe this is one of the only clinics that uses Sapphire. When I sent the clinic my initial photos, the doctor took a look and said that they can extract 4500 grafts from my donor area and beard. My area of baldness was large, but from the initial pictures the doctor said my donor area did not look too strong so we might only be able to do a 70% coverage with the 4500 grafts. I booked my flights and the clinic arranged everything. A hotel was booked for me for 3 nights and a driver picked me up from the airport to the clinic on the first day. The second day the driver took me to the clinic and I met with the doctor and his staff. We talked about the procedure, the expectations and the outcomes. He reassessed my hair and after taking a closer look he said we can get more than 4500 grafts. He drew up the new hairline by designing a natural hairline for me, this natural hairline contains irregular areas and little waves. The doctor checked the hairline again and again. The doctor did not draw un-natural and straight hairline which was important because that how natural human hair is. On operation day, just before starting operation in pre-operation consultation he evaluated my donor area and necessary hair graft amount again and after that he decided to increase operation total graft number to 6800 grafts (before, it was 4500 grafts, he increased it by 2300 grafts) without demanding any extra money. The doctor increased the total number of grafts to 6800 grafts. 5750 grafts from the back of the head and another 1050 grafts from the beard donor areas. He mentioned that for one session of hair transplant operation, it is a pretty high number but this will give me the full 100% coverage and provide high density to cover all empty areas of my head. After cutting my hair the operation started with apply the anesthesia and then extracting the hair from the donor area. The extraction took a few hours because of the large graft count including the back of the head and the beard area. After that the incisions were make in the recipient are by the doctor directly with a Sapphire blade. It was important that the doctor make the incisions because he know where the hear needs to be placed so it can look natural. The operation lasted more than 12 hours. The doctor was there the whole time and him and his staff spent the whole day on my hair because I was the only patient. They only do one operation a day so they can focus on one patient in order to provide the best care and service. There was no rush the whole time from the beginning to the end of the operation because I was the only patient. During operation the doctor controlled everything. After the operation doctor explained to me the operation process, medications and important points(instructions). I went to the hospital and went to sleep. The next day was rest day and I stayed at the hotel. the following day was the first was and final consultation. It was two days after the operation day, and I came to hospital and doctor made followed through with my after operation control and first wash. He showed me how to was my hair and take care of the new grafts. We then went to his office and he gave me a gift box containing shampoos, and other essentials for after care. He told me what I need to do to recover quickly and take care of my new hair. Throughout the whole process he really made me feel comfortable and at ease. He was very patient and professional. He told me I will be a new happy man soon. He also gave me his personal number on WhatsApp for follow up. I have to send a picture everyday for the first week and then photos once a week for a year and a half. The following day the driver took me to the airport and I headed home. Overall, I really liked the clinic, the doctor and the staff. Very professional and honest. I like that they only have one patient a day so all the attention goes to you. I would recommend them to anyone. Right now it has been 7 days sine the operation and things are looking good, can't wait to get the final results.”
