“I am extremely disappointed with the level of service I've received from Doability after purchasing a faulty product. Despite multiple attempts to contact them via email to address the issue, I have been met with absolute silence.
The lack of response is not only unprofessional but also speaks volumes about the company's attitude towards its customers. It's disheartening to see a disability provider show such disregard for individuals who rely on their products for improved quality of life.
I initially had high hopes for the product, but its defects have rendered it useless, and the complete lack of communication from Doability has only exacerbated the frustration. It is unacceptable for a company to ignore customers who are seeking assistance with faulty products, especially when dealing with products designed for individuals with disabilities.
I had expected better from a company in this field, where empathy and understanding should be at the forefront. Unfortunately, Doability has failed miserably in this regard. I strongly caution anyone considering their products – if you encounter any issues, don't expect any help or even the courtesy of a response.
This experience has left me deeply dissatisfied, and I will be actively discouraging others from trusting Doability based on their abysmal customer service. A company that cannot be bothered to respond to legitimate concerns does not deserve the trust and support of the disability community.”
“DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Purchased various small disability aids for my son. a few small aided kitchen knives, aided nail clippers, key turner, pill crusher, that type of thing. All items were small. 15 items in total. Total cost of items - $568.30. Cost of delivery - $458.14.
I was horrified once I realised.
Package arrived with items missing. Emailed them to inform them. Still no response 2 months later....
Shocking customer service!”
“Purchased a pram from this company. We rely on this piece of equipment.
After one incident the pram buckled ( had be used twice) .
Rang, emailed and after the promise to get in touch nothing.
The after sales support email. Ended with we have never had this problem before.
I warm other parents of special needs children , who rely on equipment. Buy elsewhere. Because if you need help after sales, this company do not care .”
“I called Doability and ordered two Aspire Vogue walkers for my husband and I. Prior to that I had visited a disability store in Elizabeth, SA but left after the salesman continued to call me "Luv", even after I requested he stop.
The young lady I spoke to at Doability was just so helpful and respectful... I can't praise her enough. Within four days our walkers arrived by courier. I won't hesitate to buy online from Doability again in the future. It will be my go-to site for whatever we need.”
“Don’t buy from this company under any circumstances. Continually told me they didn’t have my address despite me having sent it 3 times - bogus company.
Complaint sent to police and Fair Trading.”
“DO NOT BUY FROM DOABILITY! Made an order on 5/Oct/21 and it is now 8/Nov/21 yet to receive shipping information. I've called twice and was told my item would be delivered tomorrow! This company is Melbourne based and I am from Sydney. I was then told I would receive a consignment number tomorrow as he had to organise delivery from a company close to me?! Alarm bells went off so as soon as I got off the phone I went online and saw that other people had experienced the same. I will have to contact Department of Fair Trading. How sad....... that a company that deals with disability equipment should take advantage of people with disabilities......”
“Not even worth one star, don’t buy from this company, as I brought walking frame on 27th August 2021, still not received shipment information, emails them but no respond at all. Fraud!!!. Now trying to get money back, lodge complaints to Fair Trading.”
“Lovely crutches that make you feel more stylish and less medicalised. Very comfortable to use - no compromises there and lots of different colours to choose from. I would recommend the ones with the Velcro straps on the wrists and also the ones that fold up as not having to deal with folding crutches all the time is great.
Lots of lovely comments from other people about them which is nice at a time you don’t feel very good about yourself. also a mention for the customer service from Deb whomafvised on the sale etc etc. All perfect!”
