“I paid extra for the joystick with the promise of not needing a stern thruster because of the ‘engine trick’. Turns out that the boat really can’t walk sideways as they promised. Could have saved 8k if I got the twin (or more if I went with YC) and put it in a stern thruster.”
“The response between operation and response is slow. I find the set up way too aggressive. Many users I have spoken to get confused when stern to as you need to turn the unit round and in wind and tide you simply don’t have time.”
