“I have been going to the Edgar's in the financial district for about a year now. Those ladies really take care of their customers. Always friendly and helpful, also have helped me out of a few jams. I'm always their ordering for personal and company events. Everything is always perfect and delicious! Ebony, Khadjah (those are the names I could remember) but all the ladies are great!!!”

I pay Edgar's account up to the last cent in 2022. In 2024 Edgar's claim that I owe them I explained to different consultant who where very rude and unprofessional and now my is the debt collectors they said I owe insurance that I hope that if you don't pay an insurance it should lapse. Edgar's insurance it does not lapse but it accumulate I advise people they should stop insuring anything with Edgar's I'm so disappointed!!!”

“Bought several items online. Did not deliver two items but charged my account. Then credited the one item and after more than a month no credit for the second item. They also delivered Pierre Cardin tekkies that I have not ordered. I notified them of all the mistakes and yes the tekkies they come to fetch but still no credit for the item not received. And I have contacted them several times”
“My name is Lorraine and I’m disgusted and unsatisfied with my account that I have had for over 30 years with no complaints until recently. I have been asking questions through different consultants and they have no answers to my questions. How possible that my credit it can be 28000,00 while I qualified for 7000? Who authorized 28000,00 without my permission? I still have no answers because I have been paying since and to my surprise the debt it never reduces instead it goes up. My last purchase was on 2016 of a phone that’s worth 3400? How did you come up with 28000,00 when I have agreement with Edgars of R7000 in 2016? How do you exceed our agreement without my consent? Then Edgards have the nerve to put me on collection after one of the consultants promised to write off that debt?”

“Returns l bought staff online and the size was a bit big and l wanted to do an exchange l was told to wait within 2to4 days the driver will come and collect and guess what only to get a call on the 24th of August one the customer agent said we only noticed that the driver did not come to do a pick up etc . “I bought jeans that unfortunately were a small cut. For some reason, the tag came off while I was fitting the jeans, I showed the tag to Kribashnee who was assisting with the return on email. I haven't heard from her since then, all I wanted was a swap out for the size that fits..Worst service ever!!”
“This is absolutely the WORST company I have ever had to deal with.
I had an account with them for more than 10 years and I was an exemplary customer and always paid my account on time.
I had taken out a few of the insurance packages on my account one of which covered retrenchment. Needles to say that after paying this for so many years, I was retrenched in 2020 and contacted Edgars immediately to notify them of this. I continued paying the insurance fees every month for about 6 months (as it was the only thing I owed) but they never got back to me regarding putting my account on hold or closing the account.
I had run out of money and was unable to continue paying the monthly fees but Edgars just kept giving me the run around about this so with their obscene interest fees thrown on top I now owed them thousands and yet they STILL refused to take responsibility for their mistake. When their debt collectors contacted me, I made arrangements with them to make monthly payments which would clear my credit record while I continued to look for permanent employment.
I made my last payment October 2021, received confirmation from both the agency and Edgars that this was completed and I had my account closed.
It is not a year later and my credit record is STILL being affected because Edgars is still sending their creditors to collect money I do not owe them.
They are the absolute worst and have TERRIBLE customer service!
NEVER OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH THE EDCON GROUP EVER, you'll regret it.”
