“Ordered 2 t shirts under the buy 1 get 1 half price . Order confirmed and git an email 2 day later saying that 1 item was not in stock . And was refunded the half price . I immediately we into order the exact same item again and it was in stock . Crazy .
I think they didn't want to send it as it was half price and they said it was out of stock when it clearly wasn't.

“I ordered 2 pairs of runners and only 1 pair delivered. I have emailed twice and tried calling and no response at all from Elvery's. The runners cost me €160 and they have no customer service available to deal with anyone's queries.”
“Ordered 8th of month. Not delivered until 19th. 1 items missing. On hold for 20 minutes when i rang. So item never left warehouse the lady presumed was out of stock but wasn't sure and be grand cause I'd get a refund. The missing item was for a birthday on 20th so im very annoyed with the lack of correspondence. When the package left the warehouse I should have been informed. Won't order online again.
Instore experience is much different that's 5 star especially in Clonmel branch.”
“Put in an order online for 2 pairs of shoes ahead of the Christmas deadline for click and collect. Emailed a few days later and told one of the items was not in stock. I responded asking to send an alternative colour and to ensure they would still be delivered in time for Christmas. Was told probably not. I cancelled the order and went into the shop to choose a pair instead. On gifting the box on Christmas morning I was horrified to find I had been given 2 odd shoes. So embarrassing for me! Brought it back to the shop and was given no satisfaction whatsoever, not even an apology. I was just told this happens sometimes. I asked for a larger size in the second pair I had purchased and the manager went to store room and came back with the "bigger size". I checked the shoe myself and saw it was the same size I was returning. When I said this to her she just said "Oh well the box says 11". Refunded both. Will never deal with them again. Disaster”

“Elverys (Henry street & head office) have a phone line, but they never answer. I spent half of the day yesterday calling them and they could not be bothered to pick the damn phone up! My order is taking forever! Worst customer service ever. I wouldn’t recommend this place, I have orders coming from LA sooner than this place.”
“Have purchased a few treadmills from Mahers sports in the past and have always gotten great quality for money spent. Purchased an Icon treadmill around this time last year from Elverys and belt broke a few weeks ago. Despite requesting an extended warrantee and keeping in mind it was only a few weeks out of the 1 year normal warrantee was advised that the extended warantee was not received so they won't cover the product. While the Elverys customer care representative was very nice and appeared helpful, was met with nothing but excuses on behalf of the supplier Icon UK such as didn't adjust the belt frequently enough despite the manual not stating the frequency (it was adjusted 10 times over a 12month period). It's really not good enough that Elverys continue to stock a product with a poor track record and do little for their customers with regards to recourse on broken products of their the suppliers. Would not purchase again from Elverys as have lost confidence in both them and their stocked products.”
“Ordered 2 pairs of trainers for click and collect two weeks ago, thinking it would be quicker than delivery. On the website it states 5 working days for delivery. My order confirmation stated I'd receive a message when they'd arrived at my store. I have heard absolutely nothing from this company. What's worse is that their phone numbers have nobody at the other end of the line and ditto their email. I've called numerous times, emailed twice and commented on their Facebook and Twitter accounts, which they are still able to advertise on by the way, trying to lure in those who have not yet been deceived into parting with their money. I am currently in the process of getting a chargeback on my card with my bank as I can't even talk to someone about getting a refund on the items I never received. Utterly appalling. I have since come across many other people who have been treated the same way. Please do your homework and heed the negative reviews before parting with your money. I will never ever shop with them again. I've ordered from around the globe in recent weeks and had everything delivered within days. This was the one Irish company I ordered from. Major let down to the entire nation. I urge anyone to steer clear of Elverys. They are by far the worst online experience I have ever had. Shocking for a legitimate business.”
