“I purchased a 'Flash' Deluxe costume for my nephew for his 5th birthday present. Although the outfit looks great and is the correct fit, the velcro fastenings on the back are wholly inadequate, they are both too small and flimsy for the job and do not stay fastened. They open as soon as he moves around and the outfit almost falls off his shoulders. Not happy!”

Dear Joanna Thank you for your review, its a good theme which I'm happy to answer. With the new testing required for children costumes, EN71 part 1,2 and 3, the fastening can only be achieved safely by using velcro. This is designed to ensure there is minimal chance of chocking during play. I understand your frustration with this but any other fastening used for children costumes could potentially be hazardous. As such all children costumes will have this safety feature, please note a stitched material tie would not pass the safety testing required. “I bought the Robin (Batman Arkham ) costume As a gift for my son for his birthday and he loves it! Brilliant quality and fits him perfectly. The costume arrived a day early too which was a bonus. Highly recommend for any occasion. Will be buying again soon”

“The website was very easy to navigate. The items were delivered on time and in good condition, they ask for an event date to make sure that they can get the item to you in plenty of time. The only thing I would say is that the size guides could be a little clearer. Large size was delivered and the label said it was age 7-8 but it fit my 11 year old.”
