“i try etx capital just for one month and finde it cool espacialy their spread i lose all the i transform the 20 £ BONUS TO 45 £ but i lose all in two minutes because of the GBP CRASH :(”

“They might promise 40-50 basis points spread either side of the bid/offer for their spread but in reality the price you'll have on offer from their platform will be in the region of 180-200 basis points (almost 2p) either side of the bid/offer. Massively uncompetiitive compared to other platforms. Steer clear IMO.”

“I've stopped trading and was told with 2 days notice that they will charge a dormancy fee on my account at £15 a month. However, before the 2 days period was up, they charged me £15 and then again after that 2 days period was up, so essentially, it was £30 a month. It's not the amount that is the main problem, but how they've gone about doing that. There wasn't any information or notice period. Is that legal? I emailed to ask for an explanation and was told 'Sorry, we are extremely busy', will review it and let you know as soon as we have an update. No explanation or apologies at all. I requested to close my account, and was requested to show my bank statement. I'm surprised that you don't need to provide a bank statement to open an account, but you need to show one to close your account.”

“Good information. Easy to contact someone to talk to. Good spreads,good margins.I would recommend them to anyone Unfortunately, do not cater for the less wealthy conservative customer,who plods slowly along.”

“My ETX trading account has been set to "limited" through no fault of mine! They ask for review and I have done that and ETX says they will contact me if they need more documents. No one contacted me yet they put my account as limited. Anyone else encountered this?”

“They are scam artitsts stay away and keep your money in your pocket. If you have to try your luck in spread betting use other big names but never small company like ETX. I have been bitten by them.”

“I have traded with various brokers and ETX is by far the most comprehensive trading platform I've ever used. ETX allowed me to trade at my own pace in the beginning, without ever dictating the size of my bets as with most other providers, and the stability of their excellent platform has never let me down. I cannot recommend them highly enough and am very pleased to confirm their very low and consistent spreads, even during sometimes very volatile market situations. ETX are the real deal and will continue to be my primary brokers as they tick every box with zero nonsense, they know exactly what to do, and do it very well. Highly recommended!”

“excellent website, especially the graphs, very efficient service, when there is a rare problem, it is sorted quite quickly without fuss. I have been with this broker for several years and had several brokers in the past, etx appears to have the best website and is the most efficient user friendly service. I don't give five stars lightly.”

“When things go wrong on the platform, I end up losing money (when I have clearly won a trade). Not satisfied with explanations given. Makes me feel at times that I`m being conned out of money. Also slow payment of withdrawal funds (could be quicker).”

“It is easy to navigate your way around the site,for instance for FX, ther is any easychoice between between selecting daily rolling, near quarter or far quarter. If I am permitted a negative view, I can't say I am enamoured about your grab of 10% of returning funds. I always thought that it was the spread that adequately funded organisations such as yours.”

“Dear Sirs, Nobody likes bad reports. If there is a listening ear, this can be a great help to polish the services to a better level. Major problem of ETX Capital is the slippage when trades are executed - on entry and on exit. It is too much slippage sometimes, there is no hedging, too. Now, this is not the normal slippage of the market movement. This is conscious manipulation of the entry and exit, so, more money can be ripped off the retail traders. As a preparation to become an IB to a City brokerage, I had to study for it. I learnt interesting things about the execution of the retail traders trades... That's why I discontinued my trading there and moved to another brokerage since end of 2015. Thank you. Sincerely yours, Dimitris.
