Subscribed to the SES PRO50 package with "upto" Mbps download speed - I get this speed for a short while first thing in the morning. during the day it slows dramatically and in the evening around 2Mbps on a regular basis - occasionally lower !! I have raised this with customer services - no real help at all, other than to confirm the system is working properly. Barely better than fixed line - not worth the cost sadly.

This is also why your speeds may be lower during the late afternoon till late at night simply due to the amount of people using the bandwidth. Please also be aware that the services is an up-to service which means the 20MB/s is not a guaranteed speed. When I first started receiving the service I was very happy, connection speeds were good and the service was reliable. Since then, connection speeds have dropped, latency is poor and the service is worse than the 1mb connection I was receiving via broadband. The connection speed tested two days ago was less than 1mb each way. In short, when the bandwidth is there, which is rare during daylight hours, the system is OK. Most of the time the connections speeds coupled with poor latency make even the most basic tasks impossible. If I could turn the clock back I wouldn't bother with this service. The high price doesn't justify the quality of connection.

Incredibly slow speeds from their TooWay. I'd avoid at all costs. Read the reviews on Think Broadband about TooWay before signing up.

Please can you perform our test at http://speedprobe.skylogicnet.com on a computer with a direct connection to the modem. Before I installed a satellite system I was using Orange via a phone line. Being at the end of a 6km line I found the performance and reliability very poor, in fact during the school holidays 2014, I found it almost impossible to use the Internet at all. Since my installation I have been disappointed with the performance of the Internet. Most of the time the connection is slow to very slow, inferior to my previous server. At no point has it ever been better. I am also astonished to discover that even in a gentle rain I loose complete contact. Either the WWW is slowing down to the point of becoming useless or something else is going on to encourage people to buy faster systems ( not an option for me in France ) The fact that I can use up my prepaid quota on my iPad within 2 weeks while hardly using it leaves me unhappy.

So over priced it is next door to robbery. The prices would not be so bad if the service kept pace with it but it is up and down all the time, you can never switch on your computer or ipad and know you will be on line. It is pot luck all the time. As you can no dought tell my wife and I are not happy.

Hi Mr Laughton Satellite will be more expensive that standard ADSL broadband due to the amount of funding that has been ploughed into the new Technology. However, we are hoping that this will reduce as the option becomes more 'mainstream'. I have had a contract with europasat for over 14 months and for the 1st year everything was fine. However on the exact day of passing 12 months the pricing structure has somehow quadrupled. I now find myself somehow using a months allowance within a week without changing the internet useage(web sites/emails etc) Despite this, both the company through their technical department and my installer have been able to offer an explanation of why this is so. I now find myself locked into a contract which I believe is an absolute rip-off. I am now recommending to any friends or fellow expats here in spain not use europasat.

All started well fantastic speeds we now get better speed though our phone line in a rural setting at 512kbps. i phoned many times to see whats going on. good for a few days then goes bad again to the point i cant watch a youtube video! Would not recommend dont get nothing more for your money than paying 3.99 through sky for unlimited. We only purely keep it as a back up @ £24.99 a month i think i need to re think on that!

Still waiting after delivery a month ago for an install have rung and told them still in box even paid for a professional to install it! So so far rubbish would not recommend to a frog! Let alone a friend

Very Very expensive for what are just mediocre speeds - even when working well - and despite being on the 'unlimited' tariff - bandwidth is severely restricted to almost dial up speeds - every evening at 5 PM. Once I am out of contract - I am out of here! - and I am counting the days. Anybody asks me - and even if they don't - my advice - leave well alone - in my opinion - service is simply not worth it even at half the price.

very disappointing to find data disappearing at speeds faster than you are supplying [your own figures emailed to me from S E S by Carl at Europasat]. Apparently we down loaded more than 1.3 gigabytes in a 5 minute period during our freezone time. Not only should this not have been counted,[ freezone ] but it would have meant we were downloading at 35 megabits/second when the package we are on only operates at up to 20 megabits/second. I have phoned repeatedly but so far no explanation of your accounting is forthcoming. we now disconnect our modem until we need to use the computer. I will not be recommending you to anyone I care about. nigel@byzantium.force9.net

The product we have doesn't work it is supposed to give high speed internet ours only works for the first 50 percent of the allowance supposedly this is because of a mountain (hill) obscured the satellite although it works for the first two weeks in the month. Customer service is appalling.

Customer service was brilliant but unfortunately the package was very poor, we had the 250g package for one day and apparently used 36% of our usage in that short time due to I phones updating to the cloud! Not good.

Very poor service, would not recommend my worst enemy to use this source. Reception is only moderate for a few hours a day, and often there is no reception at all ! The company is very keen to tell you that you have used up your allocated amount, but does not appreciate, or allow, that a lot of time is spent re establishing connection in order to finish a task. As soon as I am able I will change my supplier Michael Parry

You have sold way too many contracts and couldn't stop at the right moment. Your company is greedy and unreliable. We have very slow speed in the evenings, not even close to 20 Mb we are paying for. The moment we have something decent in our area or maybe 4G alternative (which is available but not being checked yet), we will be out of your services.
