If I coud I would give a negative star rating for this Company I ordered four books from Exclusive books online. It is an international order as I live in New Zealand. Order was placed on 3rd November 2022. Proof of payment was sent through. Order was supposed to be delivered approximately 16 November 2022. Got an email from Nisha Reddy on the 16th November, telling me one of the books are not available any more. I sent a replacement name and was told that she could not replace the book with another book. I would have to reorder and again pay the Delivery fee of R1550 for another order. When I asked when the order would be delivered I was sent a Tracking number showing the order was only despatched the evening of 16 November. 9h58 pm -- After I enquired about the Delivery date..... Customer care agent NOT looking out for Customer Interests. Was told a refund e voucher would reflect on my account. When I enquired about the e voucher not showing on my account .... Got an out of office reply from Nisha Reddy --- Great work Nisha Reddy. You seem to really care about your customers. I unfortunately CANNOT recommend Exclusive books online to other International customers. Please do not buy from them, you will be wasting your time and your money. Customer care do not do CUSTOMER Care at Exclusive books.

Not so very Exclusive! Brooklyn Branch! I would not advise to doing business with them, not only incompetent but clearly don't need any business of any sort. I have an order of 21 books that I've been trying to get from them for more than a month now. Also I've requested an invoice to process the payment at the same time. 1. every time I phone it sounds like they are ravaging in the dark with the confusion about who I am and what did I order (Note I've sent them an email every time I spoken to them over the phone) 2. When I raised my concerns, the lady just smirked on the other side of the phone, is this how you treat customers? She told me that I only ordered 2 books, which is confusing cause we received an sms saying 11 of our books has arrived (when we received the msg we asked them to order 10 more, also sent an email - not sure why we send them emails as they don't manage that email account) 3. The Invoice I've received eventually is still on 10% vat and the company Vat nr is wrong - need admin assistance there. 4. Today I've been trying the entire morning so far, to get hold of them cause they haven't replied to my emails sent yesterday. If I placed my order on Amazon I would have gotten it, even takealot, but we try to use locally. Very unhappy and disgusted by their service.

I ordered my books and I was given the option to write a little note on the package free of charge. I thought this was a cute gesture so I decided to write a note for my friend since it was meant to be a gift. She is queer so I ordered a LGBTQ+ book for her. On the note I simply said, "Enjoy your manga and your sapphic princess book!

Was gifted a book bought at Exclusive Books Menlyn. Did not read it or open it as i already owned it. My husband went in for an exchange and was refused one. I have spent literally 10000,s of rand myself and for my organization at that branch. I will NEVER set foot in there again and tell people not to shop there from now on. Will rather order directly from overseas. I am disgusted.

I ordered books for my Mum from overseas; used a local (SA) company because it should have been faster - estimated 2 weeks delivery - it took a MONTH. Very poor service Exclusive Books, never again. May as well have used Book Depository. And delivery would have been free!

I order from Exclusive Books on a regular basis and have spent thousands with them. Since Covid, the delays have been quite severe. I don't mind waiting and I understand the reason for waiting but the thing that annoys me is the lack of communication from their side. Order status' are not updated once the "delivery date" has passed and when you inquire, you don't get a response. Perhaps its time for me to start using Takealot.

Poor online shopping experience. Canceled an order was told the refund would take place after a week, a week later nothing. Sent an email, opted to receive a refund voucher was told it would be loaded after another 72- 96 hours-120 hours later, still nothing. Really poor service fromExclusive Books. Getting a simple gift for someone has been such a drag, the birthday has since passed and I am still waiting for a refund.

I place an order on the 8th January 2021 abd was promised that it will be delivered by the 21st of January but since then I haven't received it and exclusive books is not communicating or replying my emails. I also called their customer care line but still no feedback from them. I'm so disappointed with the service that I'm receiving from Exclusive books, this is worst experience I've ever received when purchasing online.
