I am sorry to hear you had a problem with your purchase. You did purchase polycottons from our budget range which we would not necessarily recommend for quilting. We do offer a 60 day money back guarantee so if you wish to return your purchase for a refund you can contact us on customer.care@fabriclove.co.uk.
With regards to the VAT, the taxes are all inclusive on our website, nothing extra is added at the checkout. The receipt you received is a proper VAT receipt as many of our business customers require this so although it shows the VAT separately, the price shown on the receipt is without the VAT whereas the price shown on the website is VAT included.
