It really was everything we hoped for and more. We were so pleased that we chose Eco and conservancies, definitely something very important to us.
Accommodation was superb at Lewa House, hosts Jonty &Sarah were amazing, nothing was too much trouble and everyone was so friendly and so knowledgeable, our guide Josephat was just wonderful, constantly making sure we saw everything and got great camera shots!
While Saruni Wild was just a dream! Listening to hyena, elephants and lions after dark in our fabulous tented accommodation. Again all the staff could not do enough for us, every need was attended to even sets of wellies available in our tent in case of rain!
It was lovely to have the opportunity to talk with Masai and Samburu staff who would talk about their cultures, their dress, and dance with them around the evening fire.
The two very different areas provided a wealth of different terrain, landscapes and animal sightings, along with time in Nairobi, we really feel we experienced Africa.

We really didn't know what to expect from this first venture to Africa, but we were more than pleasantly surprised. The itinerary devised was to point including some of the most spectacular scenery we have ever seen. “Our trip to Botswana and Cape Town went very well except for some issues with Botswana Air before and during the start of the trip. Far and Wild sorted out the problems before the trip and we managed okay on the day! Beyond that, everything was superb. The lodges were all brilliant, the people lovely, the internal flights from Mack Air were like clockwork and our room in Cape Town was amazing. Last but not least the wildlife was fantastic. Far and Wild did an excellent job in arranging all the logistics and we would very happily use them again in future”

“Everything was great from first discussion ideas to finalising the programme. We were very happy with how everything ran smoothly on the ground with pick ups all very clear information and on time. The places we stayed in were excellent and the quality exceeded expectations. The app was really useful and we liked the countdown feature. The only minor concern was we felt it was very close to departure when we got all the final itinerary and paperwork ans had to chase for it, but we do appreciate there were lots of things to dovetail together. The staff are all very helpful and responsive.”

“Planning a trip is never easy, today, with artificial intelligence in our hands as a tool, it seems that creating a travel itinerary is just a click away, however... when you see the result, there is a lack of intelligence and a lot that is artificial, That's when you appreciate Ben and Gemma's work. “My son and I had a brilliant trip visiting Addis Ababa, Harar and Omo Valley in Southern Ethiopia, such different places - and all remarkable in their own right.
In all areas we had interesting and knowledgeable guides and good standard vehicles. What an amazing country! Far and Wild Travel made all the arrangements run smoothly and their team in Ethiopia was great - friendly and attentive, and quick to react when we wanted to change our plan for the second week.

“I have just returned from the most amazing trip to Tanzania, booked with Far & Wild.
Everything went so smoothly, from the first time I spoke with them. The planning was great, itinerary was perfect for us and the lodges were amazing. We spent 10 nights with an amazing guide travelling through Northern Tanzania and even got to see the migration which was a lifetime ambition of mine. This wasn't our first safari so were nervous as to how it would compare, but it was spot on. We're particularly grateful that she suggested a private 'bush lunch' in the Ngorongoro Crater as the public picnic spot was very busy!
I will certainly be using them again to book our next trip....we're thinking of a relaxing beach stay next time to get over the excitement of safari!”
“Just back from another amazing F&W organised trip to Namibia with the family (8 adults).Having been before Alistair tailored our trip to include our favourite locations and added a new one for us ,Okonjima Plains camp,which we loved.The quality of accomodation and guiding ,activities ,food and drinks was exceptional throughout.Although not inexpensive I felt it was good value for the level of luxury we had. Kwessi Dunes,Shipwreck lodge,Ongava ,Okonjima with pit stops Windhoek (city tour recommended ),swakopmund (sandwich harbour and Walvis bay tour) and Grootberg lodge (best sundowner drive )”
