“Honestly, it was okay. Not great, I’m not sure I’d purchase again, but it wasn’t bad. I had a 3kg forerib for about £100, the meat was a bit less dark than I’m used to, and the marbling wasn’t much to talk about. On the other hand, there was a decent bit of fat on the top, and it tasted nice enough. This is a hard review to write because there wasn’t anything “wrong” with it, but there’s nothing about it that stood out, at all.”

“The meat and packaging were great, everyone thoroughly enjoyed both the chickens and the pies. There was a problem with the DPD delivery to the wrong house which required a good bit of sorting .”

“First time customer. Good selection, easy to order and make amends. Delivery was as they said it would be and the product arrived chilled and well packaged. I had missed the bit about upgrading to have returnable packaging so will look out for that in the future. We had the beef wellingtons for 2 and they were fine but felt a little dry. Bit for ready made they were comparable to those that Waitrose use to do. Will try other products in the future”

“We ordered and received the boned and stuffed duck for Christmas Day. It arrived beautifully packaged.Cooked as suggested, tasted absolutely delicious and we enjoyed it cold too on Boxing Day! A real treat, I would certainly recommend. Angela Browning”

“Absolutely the best service of any online butcher. I work for one of the biggest pub co’s and previously worked for a london Argentinian steak chain, the meat was incredible. I changed my order a few days before it was due to be delivered and it was not an issue for customer service. Followed the tips and recipe on the website and delivered the perfect rib of beef and Turkey breast on Christmas Day. Still drooling now.”
