“Oh dear my delivery on Wednesday 29/6 from Farmison did not start off as usual due to the guy not ringing bell/using knocker, so parcel was left on my mat till I saw email message. Then tonight 30/6 we had the lamb madras curry, OMG what a huge disappointment, there was hardly any meat in it it was hard to see it and on serving it on the plates it looked like school dinners! Does not do the name & reputation of Farmison any good sadly. Not sure I want to cook the minced beef meal I also brought. I will stick to my normal chicken/beef/sausages in future.”

“The hot dog sausages need more seasoning... salt! and the skins are incredibly tough. the other products I have had are very good though....”

“Nothing wrong with the product but no cooking instructions with the ready made Beef Wellington kit sent The website so complicated it kept showing me how to make a beef wellington Same applied to the pork pie sent”

“We treated ourselves to a beautiful pork joint for Easter and needless to say it did not disappoint. Was succulent and I can't stress enough how tasty. You really can taste the difference between the quality from Farmisons and supermarket joints. Unfortunately we are only able to treat ourselves occasionally,but do so whenever possible”

“The first order I placed was at Christmas for some fillet steak which was absolutely delicious and full of flavour. It was obvious that I would return for some more to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee and again I was not disappointed. Highly recommended.”

“I must admit I was a bit sceptical about ordering meat over the internet, but was pleasantly surprised when it arrived promptly and well packed with cool packs inside. I braised the ox cheeks for 4 hours using the on-line recipe and they came out fantastically tender and delicious. I plan to use the remaining cheeks in a bourguignon and will definitely order again.”

“First purchase of Lamb from Farmison & Co. The flavour was excellent and we could really tell the difference from our normal supplier, who is a reputable butcher. A whole leg of lamb cooked following the instructions was thoroughly enjoyed by the family at Easter. Thanks”
