“Food had defrosted before receiving it. Couldn’t refreeze. Complained to customer services who told me to eat all of the food within 24 hrs. Ridiculous advice, as there were several meals for the two of us. Will not be using your company again. Majority of other online butchers I’ve used send their products either fresh and can be frozen. Or are still frozen on arrival, so can be stored in the freezer.”

“I decide to cut down on the amount of meat I was buying from the supermarket as it was always rough and mostly inedible so I thought I’d try farminsons as a chef mate had vouched for them!! Over a year later and I only order my meat from farminsons now as the quality and price is just unbeatable !! 10/10 would encourage anyone to find a daily with this company”

“I ordered lamb rumps from Farmison with the expectation that there would be two cuts of meat each of which would weigh 250g; however, I received one of 340g and another of 180g which was both disappointing and unfair to my partner. Please ensure you pay attention to the quality of meat supplied.”

“I have begun ordering from Farmison quite regularly, and I have been so impressed. It is nice to know you are ordering from a farm which truly cares for their animals welfare, rather than the supermarkets. We try to order different things each time, some have been more to our liking than others but that's fine! Particular favourites are the fillet tail and Denver steaks, and whole chicken/parma ham chicken with truffle butter. The condiments are also really tasty. Packages have always arrived on time and well insulated, so that even if I am late home everything is still Cool when I come to unpackage. Good value for our family of 5.”

“So I suppose customers are inconsistent and capricious, earlier today I left a bad review about some pork chops and tonight I cooked the Korean short ribs on the Barbie which were amazing… what I’ve learned is it’s not about wether an online retailer is good or bad it’s about what you buy I was that person who told an online customer service person that I wouldn’t use their company again but I will sometimes customers order the wrong product from the right people”

“I recently purchased the t bone pork steaks when they arrived the amount of fat on the meat was horrendous. I complained and was told by far is on that the fat content was appropriate and that I should cook them. Shocking customer service and I am afraid that I will no longer be using farmisom”

“I was amazed that the company wanted to charge me £15 for chopping a leg of lamb in two before sending out. Prices of the goods I have purchased are very high in comparison to other Yorkshire Butchers I am trying , who also sell online. I was very disappointed with the Ripon Cathedral Bacon which was more than 50% fat , despite its cost . The 60 day matured sirloin was good , but not so good as to merit its price point. Packages are sent out promptly , but please do not use the straw like filler which scatters all over the place when unpacking , and takes ages to clean up. Hope feedback is helpful Mike”

“Meat seems ok ,but sorting out problems well they don’t even bother to reply to emails……..they substituted or changed some of my order did not tell me and when I sent emails to find out why they don’t even reply,,,,,just on this basis I wouldn’t use again.”
