“Christmas Day saw a table full of people left speechless at the Beef Wellington I had prepared. My..ahem..culinary skills no doubt played a part. I had never attempted the dish before and there were nay sayers in our midst. However, the star role went to the beef you provided. Huge Thanks! Have ordered from you before and will do again.”

“DPD let Farmissons down by holding onto my order in the depot rendering it not suitable for delivery. A quick phone call to Farmissons and my order was replaced and ready for collection the next day. Am so sorry for the loss of food by DPD on behalf of Farmissons whose customer service was fabulous as was the meat , stuffing & extras they added my means of apology making sure I had a meal for everyone at Xmas.”

“Received excellent products once again! Ordered beef Wellington for Christmas and it was enjoyed by all. Followed the cooking instructions and the meat was tender and tasty with crisp pastry. Also ordered red wine sauce and thoroughly enjoyed it! Service was excellent, fully informed about delivery, which came on the day chosen. The packaging kept the meat protected. I only wish the postage wasn't so expensive, the cost puts me off purchasing more often.”

“The venison steaks were the most delicious and tender that I have ever tasted. I froze the châteaubriant for 2 days and we ate it as carpaccio- completely raw - it was exceptional quality. I will definitely be buying meat from Farmison &Co again in the future and in particular for special occasions when I want to be sure to have quality products. Thank you!”

“I ordered a hunch of venison , it was a beautiful cut of meat. The packaging kept the meat very fresh and it was delivered in a very quick time. It was a delicious change from Turkey for Christmas lunch.”

“Not good selected my products selected next day delivery and never received anything to be fair to them it was a busy time of year and they gave me a full refund but still my Christmas was ruined as I had ordered the meat for the dinner so unfortunately my 81 year old dad went hungry on Christmas as I only had the veg”

“I didn’t quite get a confirmation despatched order it was a bit vague and I never got any communication from dpd so when the delivery didn’t come I wasn’t over surprised but I haven’t had my refund and they haven’t responded to PayPal request but I did get lots of emails wishing me a happy Christmas and hoping I was enjoying the Turkey they didn’t post or refund”

“Ordered a 1.6kg chicken for our Christmas Dinner, customer service prior to ordering was punctual and informative. Delivery was spot on. The taste of the chicken was fantastic, far far better than from a supermarket. Marinated in a herby butter on a bed of veg and citrus absolutely stunning. Fed myself, partner and 1yo two times over and made a soup. 10/10 would recommend”

“Prior to my most recent experience, I have always rated Farmison very highly. However, the debacle over the non-delivery of my Christmas turkey and subsequent difficulty in receiving a refund in light of this has incurred considerable reconsideration of this view. I completely understand that errors occur and your Customer Services staff were very friendly and considerate but despite numerous phone calls and emails, I have yet to receive a refund and my most recent email has been ignored. I remain out-of-pocket.”
