“Ordered 7 tail end of fillet for a Christmas family feast, received regular order progress updates both from Farmison and DPD via their app. Could not have been more delighted with both the service and the meat,which arrived brilliantly packaged in a polystyrene cool box with ice packs. Thank you, will definitely be ordering with you guys again.”

“Second year in a row we have gone to Farmison for our Christmas turkey and some trimmings. Both times the quality has been top drawer. All our guests commented on how nice the turkey was.”

“I ordered a 7kg FRESH turkey (as advertised) and received a FROZEN one. Their excuse is it's not "frozen" it is "deep chilled". Other producers had the good grace not to deceive their customer by letting you know that the bird was not "fresh". Farmison however have intentionally misrepresented the product in the hope that we won't notice. I know that bird-flu has affected production, but there's no need to be untruthful to customers. I am pursuing a partial refund and will not use them again. I suspect I'll have to resort to the SCC for resolution given the arrogant responses I've had so far.”

“Good quality trimmings for Christmas and New year meals. The Ripon Cathedral bacon is always tasty and the Sausagemeat stuffing is the best on offer. I also bought Beef Gravy. For someone who struggles to make good real gravy and does not want to use Bisto, this was just the thing.”

“The packaging was amazing. There were freezer blocks in with the meat, woodwool inside a polystyrene box, and all this inside a heavy cardboard box. I bought sausage meat for stuffing, pigs in blankets, streaky bacon and piece of bacon and can honestly say it was the best I ever tasted. I will buy again”

“Ordered a cooked ham and porchetta for Christmas. Also chicken and beef to freeze for later. Every scrape of ham and porchetta was eaten which is unusual as there is always some waste after Christmas. But it was delicious so not really surprised.”

“We've never ordered our turkey online before and were very happy with our experience. The turkey was delivered exactly when it was supposed to be and tasted absolutely wonderful on Christmas Day. All the family commented it was the nicest turkey we'd had!”

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Here at  Farmison, all our Meat is cut and prepared fresh to order in our Butchery here, it is then picked and packed by hand in our Dispatch Department to be sent out to our customers fresh. This happened the day before a delivery is due to be with our customer. This means we are working with live stock levels, so, if there are any stocking issues on a certain dispatch day, this can often be communicated to us later in the day after all of our Supplier deliveries have been made and in many cases such as with yours last week. We do hate letting our customers down and here at  Farmison, we are constantly working on ways to improve our customer experience, so that we are offering the very best service possible to all our wonderful customers, so we understand that last-minute stocking issues are not ideal. We are very sorry once again to have let you down on this occasion.

“We ordered our spice brined Turkey Breast from Farmison this year. For over 20 years I’ve bought the Christmas Turkey direct from Smithfield’s market. But Farmison came up trumps, delivered perfectly on time packed wonderfully and with great cooking guidelines - everyone loved it and every last bit was eaten over Christmas Day and Boxing Day. The Farmison pigs in blanket were also great.”

“The Turkey was frozen on arrival which was fine as the fridge was on strike. And quite delicious but my son spent a long time plucking out the feather ends with a fish pin boner. But it had a very good flavour.”
