“Good meat albeit with short shelf life dates despite vacuum packing, and quite poor customer service. No information given about estimated delivery times, no updates from courier, nothing other than a confirmation of order email.”

Here at Farmison we humanly pack our orders and it looks like this was a mistake by our packers who worked incredibly hard to get everyone's orders out during this incredibly busy time. “Although I never received my purchase, due to carrier problems, so cannot review the items purchased. I can say that the care given by the staff over the situation was outstanding. I am about to make a purchase, now the Christmas madness has dissipated and look forward to being able to review the products.”

“I had been intending to write about my recent delivery of mutton. Last year the mutton was beautifully lean meaning minimal prep when pre-cooking it as I do to add to a curry. The meat holds up well to long/pressure cooking in both texture and flavour. The reason I don't use lamb is the fat and the amount of time I spend preping it. I would say i spent just as long with as I would have with lamb.”

“My husband and I have never ordered in a Xmas meal before, but as this offer was specifically for two, and as I hadn't been well, we thought we'd give you a try. Big mistake. The cooking instructions were inadequate. The turkey itself was dry and dull, as was the stuffing. Which brings me to the gravy: " a sauce must elevate and enrich your centrepiece". Our gravy was pale beige, had no flavour, and so was inedible. The cranberry sauce was tasty, and the pigs-in-blankets and roast potatoes were good; the sausages we put in the freezer. Altogether a great disappointment.”

“This review refers only to my recent experience- Generally Farmison produce is v good. However the mess made of my pre-order Xmas delivery and subsequent customer service response has undermined my faith in continued custom with Farmison. Receiving a box of creamy goo through careless packaging was both irritating and unpleasant, and frankly about more than getting a refund for the defective product. However in so far as Dawn appeared to be concerned this was the end of the matter and one step away from from put up and shut up. If you want to keep customers you may want to consider a less reductive stance.”

“I'm a sort of new customer, but the meat I had from them over Christmas was excellent delivery by DHL was a bit up-and-down but it eventually arrived ,I also think that the website is not particularly customer friendly unless it's me who can't operate it but I think I've got my head around that now, so the next delivery is coming today Rebecca and Lottie were very helpful. It all helps in the transition from client to customer.”
