“My first order was Turkey Crown for Christmas. It arrived fantastically packed, completely chilled, in recyclable packaging. The Turkey Crown was cooked as per recipe on Farmison website. It was the best turkey my family had ever had ( we usually buy from a reputable local poulterer), tasty and moist. Definitely recommend this to anyone”

“I'm always impressed with the quality of Farmison food and ease of delivery. I've ordered my Christmas dinners from Farmison for the past three years and it's so easy and delicious. I also love their beef short rib and meat boxes.”

“We ordered a Christmas Ham and it was delivered on the date stated. The ham itself was gorgeous, which I baked with a marmalade and mustard coating. One criticism was the fat layer was very thin indeed and I would have preferred a thicker layer to prevent the ham drying out in cooking.”

“The package was received on time, well packaged and everything was included as ordered. I must say that the product did not reflect the premium price, We've had beef of equivalent tenderness and flavour from supermarkets in the past, at less cost.”

“The Chateaubriand beef was all that the description promised. A taste that was surpassed only by the ease and speed of preparation, which made Christmas Lunch all the more enjoyable. Superb with Red Wine and Juniper sauce. Superb delivery arrangements and looking as far from a mass produced supermarket joint as you can get. Sublime all round. All beef should taste like this in an ideal world! Unfortunately no photo to upload- it didn’t hang around long enough😀”

“I have received several orders from Farmison and this is the first time we have been disappointed. The pork was brilliant and tasted delicious. When I opened the beef sirloin I was really disappointed. I expect some fat but there seemed to be more fat than meat. We cut quite a lot if fat from the joint and then decided it just wasn't big enough to roast as a joint and so cut it into 3 steaks. They were really tasty but we certainly did not get our Christmas day beef joint. It was a good job that we had the pork as back up.”

“I have tried many of your products and particularly loved your rib of beef, sausages, chicken parcels, lamb skewers, amongst others. However, I would like to bring to your attention that the smoked turkey breast was incredibly dry, didn’t taste smoked (despite smelling of smoke) and was flavourless. The ham was equally underwhelming. I think these products need to be fully revised and brought up to your normal high standards.”

“The Christmas goose and accompaniments (apricot and sausage meat stuffings) were so tasty - delicious. I was kept informed on the delivery timescale and better than any train or bus arrived when scheduled. Securely packaged with eco friendly wool. My grandparents were small holders (market garden) in Sussex and this goose would have made him proud! So thank you very much.”

“We have now had 2 x whole beef fillets from Farmison & Co and both times the quality of the beef has been amazing. We also ordered pigs in blankets, stuffing balls and devil on horseback this Christmas and again the quality and taste were fantastic. Will definitely be ordering from Farmison again and can thoroughly recommend them.”
