“The Cockerel for Christmas was delivered on time and of excellent quality.”

“Delivered on time, and well packaged. Sausagemeat was good. Chicken was good. Sadly, the gammon joint was much smaller than it appeared in the photograph, and far leaner too. I had expected a good covering of fat from a slow-grown beast, but there was very little fat, which made scoring and glazing ineffective. The fat was so thin, that the cloves pierced the meat! The flavour was OK, but I only as good as I have had from Aldi. I was anticipating deep porky flavours, and it just tasted, well, hammy. I think my expectations were just too high. From my first (and last) experience, the product here does not justify the cost, and does not live up to the promise of the wonderful photographs.”

“We bought the 24hr brined turkey breast a d plum stuffing for Christmas. It was incredibly moist and flavourful. Even our fussy children enjoyed it! Will definitely be buying again next year. I see why others have rated it 5 stars!”

“We had some Christmas meats and very tasty but the beef was overly fatty and tough. Very disappointed. Had exactly the same last year and was perfect so now unlikely we'll buy again from you. Great website, service and delivery but you charged a lot for something that was only just above average. I know these are difficult times for businesses and suppliers but what you're offering right now is just not worth the premium you're asking for. Sorry.”

“I ordered a selection of products as a Christmas present for my family in London. The box arrived on time and was packed precisely as described. Regular updates on delivery and a photo and email to me upon delivery deserve a huge tick of approval from me. Thank you. BTW. They've been delighted with their present. Which in turn delights me. I'll definitely buy from you again.”

“We got a whole selection of things and nothing disappointed. The quality of the fresh meat we received was excellent, the prepared wellington was to die for and made betwixtmas entertaining a breeze and there were literal arguments over the truffle butter. Excellent produce, easy ordering, clear and concise delivery updates, all arrived on time and we will definitely be ordering again. Thank you for taking the stress out of the December butchers trip.”

“Ordered a leg of lamb for our Christmas dinner, quite an expensive joint of meat and we were a bit apprehensive at not seeing it before delivery. Very impressed with the delivery, well packaged, delivered when expected and stress free. The meat itself was fantastic quality and tasted delicious. “I always buy my meat from Farmison now. Knowing where the animal is from and that it's been reared well and fed real food is really important to me. Not to mention the fact that it is noticeably more delicious! When cooking for friends and family they have all noticed the difference in quality and asked where I got the meat from.”

“Christmas for 15 was a looming panic! I ordered Turkey and ALL trimmings, even ready to roast potatoes in goose fat, from Farmison and Co.!! The taste and quality is absolutely superb. Farmison honestly gave me a fool proof, an utterly delicious and stress free Christmas.”
