“Our order for Christmas arrived on time as expected - great customer service who promptly changed the delivery address when our plans had to change. The cooked dry cured turkey was exceptional - the most delicious, tender and moist turkey we've ever eaten. The gravy was also good, but roast potatoes just ok - seemed to need much longer than stated to crisp up but we had to just roll with it since everything else was ready.”

“The whole family was absolutely amazed by the quality of the meat we had for Christmas thanks to you! We had gammon, topside beef & turkey breast cooked, all of them tasted incredible. The ordering process & delivery easy as you would like and so much more convenient. We will ordering from you whenever we want good quality meat.”

“Thanks for ruining our Christmas dinner. I ordered a cooked turkey breast and reheated it according to your instructions, to the letter, even using a thermometer probe. It was as dry as could be and very salty. It must have been cooked for much too long in the sous vide and over seasoned to boot. It was inedible. I’ve bought a lot of your meat in the past but will not buy any more.”

“I use them quite often, but this year I opted to get my Christmas Turkey from them. I ordered a stuffed breast back in September (planning ahead, eh?) and chose 22nd December as the delivery date. I have to be honest and say that I also ordered a Turkey Crown from Ocado as a backup for delivery on 23rd December - just in case. I have not had a problem with any previous deliveries from Farmison, and this one was no different. It arrived on time via DPD. Nor have I ever had a quality issue, and this, too, was no different. The Turkey was absolutely beautiful. It was moist, and the Sage & Onion stuffing was delicious. Every year, all the suppliers are affected by delivery issues involving certain carriers around Christmas, and I feel for those so affected. But don't be put off Farmison. The meat is wonderful.”

“Well thanks for messing up my Christmas order! I have been waiting all morning for my delivery to find out you accidently deleted it. Its Christmas Eve and now I have to change my plans as I now have to hunt around the shops to get my main course meat. My first time using you and wish I hadn't to be honest.”

“Order arrived today on time, box was damaged as one of the bags with ice had split and some blood had leaked from one of the cuts of meat but they look okay and where still chilled. Maybe some extra padding to stop contents moving around may help in the future.”

“I cooked my beef from my first order yesterday. I have to say I was very disappointed for such an expensive piece of meat (32day rolled rib of beef, cost over £90) Joint looked ok from outside but on testing with thermometer cooked very unevenly and this was reflected when carving. Some medium rare, other parts over cooked and huge piece of gristle in centre. Felt very much like different meats put together. This was a special early Christmas meal and I was pretty gutted having spent the day preparing a lovely meal that the end result was not what I had hoped. Meat was cooked as per the website instruction. Received a generic response from Farmison offering £20 credit on another order but wouldn’t trust them to provide a decent piece of meat again for that price.”

“I ordered £300 worth of Christmas goods… I ordered £300 worth of Christmas goods including Turkey. Their date for delivery did not come out as I had put in so I sent an email just after purchase with correct delivery date of the 19th of December. I received an email to say they had received the delivery date, however they sent the food anyway. I called to say I could not take food now because no where to store it and that I would have called earlier had they not sent an email to say delivery date was received. This food has just all arrived at my house and they basically said tough we were too busy to read your email! I will never use them again terrible customer service.”

“My fourth Christmas order with Farmison was delivered by DPD on time today, this year for a Free Range Turkey Breast and a Heritage 7-day Dry Aged Belly Pork Rolled. The turkey went straight in the freezer, but I cut the pork into two and roasted the smaller piece for this evening's meal. It was absolutely melt-in-the-mouth delicious! I am looking forward to Christmas Dinner with the turkey and the remains of the pork, plus all the trimmings, of course. Although only an occasional customer (I live in London), I have never been let down or disappointed by Farmison and I cannot recommend them too highly. Thank you, Farmison, and my very best wishes for the festive season. P.S. Improved packaging, without all that straw that came with previous orders.”

“I had a problem with my delivery, but you sent me a replacement delivery asap, with no quibbling. Made a very delicious venison casserole with beetroot, red peppers and a hint of chillie. Also the most gorgeous bavette steaks, marinated in olive oil, lemon and seasoning and fried in olive oil ( from marinade ) and butter. Fried in a hot pan for a scant three minutes each side, rested for five minutes and cut in fat strips. Truly the best.”

“Fantastic service and quick delivery. Packaging was excellent meat arrived chilled with the frozen gel (?) packs .The Mutton mince was superb, made a shepherds pie with great flavour, I ordered more and some of the Mutton dice.I was very pleased to receive a jar of mustard as a gift.Thank you Farmison .Will be placing regular orders”

“I have purchased your products on a number of occasion and been more than satisfied with the quality. My last order included a first time try of the mutton shoulder which I was eating only ten minutes ago, unfortunately it was so bad most of it was inedible and was thrown away. I would recommend you discontinue selling this product as it only sullies your reputation.”

“Review regarding Ripon Cathedral Back Bacon I am very disappointed with your bacon. It is cut so very thin, you can see through the rashers, and gives little taste. On cooking there was a fair amount of white scum in the grill tray indicating a high water content. Poor show for an expensive product”
