“I love the Parmesan and truffle butter but it’s too expensive to buy again. Farmison is a very nice company to deal with.”

“The flat pork loin itself had excellent flavour, but had not been "skilfully prepared" as stated in the description and indeed as expected at the price. There were a couple of cursory slashes across the skin, but I had to score it properly - however it then produced excellent crackling.”

“We are new to farmison so cant speak for all products .The family pies are great full of good quality meat. First time I've had steak pie without having to reject gristle etc. All meat was eaten .Sauages didnt meet our taste buds and 2 out of 3 packs were not liked by us Not surprising as "mergers" are a distinct taste and nidderdale was not for us . 2packs of bacon are still being considered . In future we would order the smaller pies as the family pies seem to last forever. The service and packaging were 1st class. I would like to have the choice of variety of pig for the bacon .We are still searching for "real" bacon.”

“I though the quality of the produce was great the sirloin steak in particular. I can see how much effort has gone into the produce but found the packaging and lack of consideration to the environment to be an issue, its putting me off reordering. There are far better ecological solutions and as effective ways in packaging. Would be really worth your while looking into these to make yourselves even more sustainable.”

“I enjoy the standards and ethos of Farmison, however, the quality of the meat is a bit hit or miss for me. I’ve had very lovely meat and also average meat, but each time paying a premium. I like to support organic/pasture fed so happy to pay, just wish it was a bit more consistent. Good selection of meats and fast delivery. Also great that they stock heritage and more unusual breeds.”

“Quality of the meat was outstanding (picanha joint and Boston butt). One star deducted due the website showing they had short ribs and then not being in stock but very promptly dealt with by the customer service team. My first of, I hope, many orders with Farmison.”

“I would use them again if they didn’t use DPD to deliver. The delivery was made to a different house and I spent over half an hour searching house to house after the driver explained roughly where he’d left the parcel. When I called DPD customer services to complain they said it was because the address label wasn’t printed properly and I should complain to Farmison. The delivery driver had told me that he encounters this label printing problem several times a week. If the address label was only partially printed why did the driver deliver to a random house on my street? Also why did the parcel leave the DPD warehouse in the first place with an incomplete address? Poor service. Not satisfied. Farmison please investigate this as it has put me off using u again”

“Amazing staycation box! Great selection on website The corned beef was just incredible & under stated in my opinion- I’ve tried to ask for it as a stand alone product but yet to find out... meat is amazing, customer service is quick but less efficient, but well meaning & friendly. I didn’t like the freezer packs included to keep items frozen”
