“the click and collect is an excellent feature, I live in the area and had driven past but don’t eat a lot of meat - when we do we like to make sure it’s super high quality, and we were feeding 14 so I opted to smoke two bone in briskets. Both were over the advertised weight which was nice to see, and the flavours were honestly incredible, the only reason this isn’t a 5 is that one of the briskets left us with about 50% less meat than the other due to a huge pocket of fat, if the other was the same there wouldn’t have been enough to feed everyone but broadly speaking I’d come back to buy from farm is on, and recommends others to do the same.”

“Although I have been happy with previous orders from Farmison this Christmas has left me feeling very disappointed. The order did not arrive on the nominated day, had received tracking details from DPD advising delivery between 8.30 -9.30 pm. However at around 6.15pm DPD tracking said Delayed and to wait for updates. Never heard another thing from them. Next day tried phoning Farmison, was on hold for over an hour. Emailed but again, standard reply saying I would hear within 49 hrs! Posted on Facebook page and instantly received a response via messenger. Was advised the meat would be 'OK' for 72 hrs. Not acceptable so requested refund, which is being processed but still haven't received. So , No joint, too late to find a replacement locally, Christmas dinner ruined, ended up with Turkey, which was all we could find and no one wanted, plus the stress which we could have all done without. From other posts on social media I realise r That we are not alone, and that DPD seems to have crumpled under Christmas pressures. Don't feel at all confident in using Farmison again.”

“Customer service GREAT. Meat was just of the gourmet kind. MY Christmas dinner could not have been more tasty and tender. Farmison is the butcher that I will stay with for life, simply because there just is none better, I am even smiling at the price list.!! “The chicken Galantine, chestnut stuffing and pigs in blankets were all superb. Easy to cook and really tasty. I used the leftovers in a couple of other meals, though the stuffing and pigs went down very well cold the next day. We always rate Farmison highly and the Christmas food was no exception. We actually recommended Farmison to an elderly relative who also enjoyed a fuss-free Christmas dinner with the Chicken Crown.”

“Ordered meat for Christmas as I was let down last minute. Ordering was easy to do via website, delivery was seamless. The order arrived superbly packed and comfortably chilled. Come Christmas Day and following the cooking instructions that I downloaded from the website the meat was cooked to perfection. The taste was outstanding. I will of course be ordered further from Farmison a truly wonderful supplier.”

“We placed an order for Christmas from Farmison & Co and we’re very pleased with the quality of the meat as well as the service and how the food came packaged.
