“We (1 adult with 4 children - ages 7 to 13) had a lovely short mid-week break on the Norfolk Broads. It was a last minute booking and we were lucky to find Ferry Marina. Professional and helpful staff. The boat hired was modern, accommodating and suited us perfectly. Ian who provided some basic training was very helpful and gave us confidence in managing the boat. Would definitely use this company again and recommend.”

“Had an amazing experience. I have been with Ferry Marina before and never had any issues. My partner was on her first ever boating holiday and loved it so much we’ve booked again for next year. We tried one of the electric boats (Whisper) and it was brilliant. The engine was extremely quiet and even when the generator kicked in - it wasn’t noisy enough to disturb us. The boat was immaculately clean when we took over and everything we needed was waiting for us. We had a quick tour from the guide at the yard and then were off. Throughout the week we learnt a few things but the boat was great. We had some mechanical issues towards the end of our week but Bob was fantastic. He met us quickly once we reported the issue and fixed it there and then - we only lost about an hour waiting but we had moored up somewhere pretty so didn’t mind. That evening we had another issue and again Bob went above and beyond for us - meeting us out of hours to help us sort it and fixing it without taking away from our trip. Handing back over was quick and easy, the guys in the office dealt with everything we needed them to. Can’t wait for our next trip now!”

“We enjoyed our break on the Azure Emblem. The boat was well prepared and the staff especially Ben (who gave us our safety chat) were friendly and helpful. The Broads are beautiful and well worth a visit.”

“We really enjoyed our first boating experience on the Broads on Crystal Emblem 2 (even though it was a rather cold few days - wish we had brought more layers with us!) The Ferry Marina staff were helpful and friendly, thank you”

“Staff are friendly, helpful and reactive. Boats are clean and in good condition and good value for the price we paid. I managed to crash the boat on our first night into the corner of a Jetty. The staff were excellent, they changed the boat. Didn’t even ask how it happened and just focused on us enjoying the rest of our holiday. There was no small print meaning we had to pay an excess. The damage waiver covered it. Will certainly book with ferry Marin again”

“All the people at Ferry Marina were helpful, efficient and super friendly. They really couldn't be faulted. From the introduction to the boat through to signing off at the end of the holiday, they had it just right. The boat was very well equipped and absolutely spotless. We had a long weekend break, and at the end, we felt as relaxed as if week been away for a week or two.”

“Well equipped Bittern Cottage overlooking the side of the marina. We took our dogs & only negative was that there wasn't a secure area to let them outside. Would go again. Receptionist lovely & friendly. Hired a day boat which was fun trying to moor up!”

“Cygnet cottage was lovely. Well laid out and very comfy. Brilliant view of quiet part of marina. Visited by ducks and even had a Heron knocking on the patio door. Weather was really good as well.”

“Fifth visit here since October 2017, do we need to say more? The bad news is that the Marina cottages are to be sold as the Marina has changed hands. It will be difficult to find a better setup every one has been so helpful and professional especially when we got caught up in the Beast from the East, the guys provided transport to Wroxham for shopping and we overstayed until the roads were fit to travel what more could you ask. We hope to be able to visit again but if not thank you all. Angela and Andy”

“This was a Christmas gift. We found the experience excellent as had the opportunity to stay in a cottage and rent a boat for the day which allowed us to have a taste of what a few days on the broads would be like. All staff were very helpful and friendly and both accommodation and boat were excellent.”

“We have just returned from a 4 day break at the little house Horning. We have used Deerfoot before for many years, along with other houses from Ferry Marina and the little house did not disappoint. The staff are all superb and nothing too much trouble for them. They sorted my family with a large day boat on very short notice, and the house itself was immaculate. Would always recommend the Ferry Marina as they have never let me or my family down now for many years. Thank You all again for another fantastic stay. See you soon, Pete Veal and Family”
