Pleased with the speed of the service but maybe too fast as the second item in the order - a Ladies' Karrimor microfleece - somehow turned in to a pair of men's tracksuit bottom???

To be honest a few years ago I was very happy with the service & products from fieldandtrek.com, but the last three times i've got anything has been poor performance. First I got a vango helium 200, had to send it back cause not only did it have black stains on the fly sheet but it was a different model than advertised with a lower HH level, sent it back. Second time was a pair of boots, they came with a load of soft spots on the sole unit, needed them so had to keep them needless to say the sole lastef no time at all & sqeaked from day one due to the soft spots mentioned. Last I ordered another tent,came in great condition but was the wrong model, now I have to borrow a tent while waiting to get the mix up sorted. So am sorry to say that given a few years ago all I had to say was praise about service, price & product & directed anyone I knew who was looking for a great deal. Now I can't feel that am doing anybody a favour who asks for a reference on a outdoor sales site by directing them to fieldandtrek.com.

I was disappointed that I couldn't change the address where my parcel was going to even though I spoke to a member of staff who said he would do this for me. My parcel went to the wrong address and it was a stressful time trying to retrieve it. However it did come quickly.

I had heard good reviews from this particular website so I decided to check it out myself. I ordered some items and paid for next day delivery but it wasn't delivered until some few days later which was too late for when I needed it for. Not exactly a good start to what would have been a potential regular purchasing of items from this site.

I paid extra for Saturday delivery and it didn't arrive until Monday. So I feel robbed by the delivery company, Yodel, who kindly gave me a tracking number so I could see that there wasn't even an attempted delivery on that day. Ripped off...

Left the security tag on my purchase when posted to me. Had to take the item to a JJB Sport shop to have it taken of. They promiced to refund the postage costs but never did. The person in JJB Sport said that it happens all the time.

This is not the brand you are looking for, bought out by sports direct in 2004 all goods are processed cheaply in China.

I had a lot of e mails from Yodel promising me the trainers on Saturday (well into the evening so I made sure someone was at home all day & eve) but they didn't arrive til Monday pm. I ordered 1/2 a size up but they were so small I could hardly get my feet in them! I wish I'd been told they ran small. Finally I've returned them and there's not a free returns label so I've paid about 8 quid (incl delivery and returns) to try on some tiny shoes that arrived too late for my run on Sunday. I'm a bit grumpy about it all really.

I recently ordered a pair of size 10.5 walking boots in time for the Easter holidays, and was sent a size 11 in a 10.5 box and thwy are way too big. I now have to send them back today and wont have a replacement in time. Not great.

Very disappointed to get something which I didn't want; photo on website was misleading so I'm returning item. Fast postage, but also included items which I didn't ask for - mug and magazine which I won't bother to return as I refuse to pay for posting something I didn't order.

Our order arrived opened (the outer and inner bags) our sleeping bag was not in it's stuff sack, in fact the stuff sack wasn't in the order. Contacted f&t and they sent one - a stained, torn, used one. Was told I can't return to store and I have to post it back. Useless.

The box that my boots were in was all bashed up! My free gift was broken on arrival.

Good time to delivery - no complaint there. However, total lack of indication on the website regarding waistlines on the women's trousers meant that two of the three pairs I ordered have a "waistband" digging into (not even on top of) my hip bones, reaching nowhere near my waist, so are unwearable and I will have to send them back. Not happy as by the time I've paid for return postage as well as original delivery the single pair of wearable trousers will be considerably more expensive, and it's not even as if I can get the unwearable ones swapped for more of the wearable ones. And the so-called "sizing charts" also give no information on e.g. waist and hip sizes, which also didn't help - just "S = 10" - how about "10 = 36 hips, 26 waist" or something useful like that? The Men's sizes at least indicated chest and waist measurements, but not the women's sizes.

Dear sirs, I'm disappointed because the item ordered was damaged in transit, I requested that I wanted a replacement on day one it took over a week and half to get it collected, only to find that it was out of stock when received back a depot even though I asked for a replacement non was forthcoming. Disappointed that I missed a good deal because it got trashed in transit! Thank You!

This is the trouble with buying on-line. You take the sizes at face value and assume they will be correct. I ordered a pair of zip-off trousers (small mens), which, according to the size guide were 30-32 waist. I couldn't even get them past my thighs, despite having a 30" waist. To make matters worse, the leg length would have fit a giraffe!! What weird sizes are these made to? I have returned them (at my cost) and I am waiting for a refund. This will be interesting, as "REFUND" is not one of return codes.

By indicating poor I am not really dissatisfied with the goods from Field and Trek - rather the delivery service they employ. The shoes ordered were attempted to be delivered on Friday 20th February. I understand that a signature was required but as I was out no attempt was made to leave with a neighbour. Card left through the door stated that delivery would be made on Saturday 21st February. I stayed in all day only to discover when tracking order that Yodel decided to take parcel back to depot and state that there was a problem with the delivery address. As there was no way I could speak to anyone in person I arranged online to have delivery made today Wednesday 25th February. I will keep you informed if this fails to materialise.

Excellent product, good price, despatched promptly but.... Yodel delivery service was awful, parcel left outside a completely different address miles away. If it hadn't been for someone kind enough to take the trouble to contact us it would never have got to us. The yodel 'help' service was unhelpful to the point of rudeness and refused to apologise. Foeld and trek refunded the delivery price.

the goods where and are good , but a bubble jacket arrived with the security lock still attached and the hood missing, i got the lock off and requested by internet they send hood , they told me to send jacket back, clearly they had not read email, i only required the hood
