“The grading would have been ‘Very Good’ had the installer not come without some materials on day 1 and the incorrect flooring on day 2 (although this seemed to be a clerical error). We are very pleased with the end result”

“Warm friendly greeting on arrival. Knowledgeable informative advice re matching existing flooring. Samples given to take home for comparison. Questions welcome and answered clearly and second opinion sought from colleague for clarification. Would definitely recommend this company.”

“We had Amtico Signature flooring done by FLR in November 2017; it covered a fairly large area (over 50 m^2). FLR staff were meticulous, skilful and highly professional. The floors were prepared with great care and tiles were finished to a high standard, including edging to the skirting boards and around the toilet. Our experience with FLR has been great, and we have no hesitation in recommending them. Dr &Mrs Ali”

“Lovely lady came and found me wandering around the Showroom, and was extremely helpful. Showed us what we were looking for and gave us some samples. And then booked an appointment for someone to come and and give us a quote.”

“I met Faith at a Chamber event. She immediately phoned ahead for me to meet with Adam. Adam then came out the very next day to measure up and promptly sent a quote. So from the initial meeting, I had a quote the next day. Adam was very pleasant and knowledgeable.”

“HI Jeff, you have a great showroom and Adam was very helpful whilst discussing my possible requirements. It is a little 'prohibitive' to get in a browse, locked doors, signing in etc. I am not phased by this however is may deter some retail customers. Overall a good experience thank you”

“On a positive note it's very easy to get to and park without the usual town centre hassle. We were made to feel very welcome and were shown around a large showroom with a wide selection of flooring. We were specifically interested in the Amtico Spacia range for a very small domestic kitchen so the job was not huge but we immediately found an issue with the lighting. Colour is very important and can dramatically change depending on the type of lighting used. It would be useful to have a series of differently lit areas to see how the colours can change as is often common when choosing paint. Failing that I think the whole showroom should be much brighter which shouldn't be difficult to arrange. The answer for us was to borrow a sample tile or the display tiles themselves to view in situ but there were none available of the two we preferred. We weren't terribly keen on the 'high security' entrance and having to be buzzed in followed by signing in with an email address either. It all seemed unnecessary.”

Thanks, Denise. We appreciate your comments. It is hard to get the balance right between creating an ambience and functional lighting. We have some ambitious plans for developing our showroom over the next 18 months and will certainly take in to account your comments regarding lighting. The best way to see how a product looks is to take away a free sample and place it in the area where you are going to have it installed. If samples are not available then we are more than happy to order them in. Owing to our location and the fact that we are a largely commercial business it is necessary for us to operate a signing in policy. Thanks once again. GM - FLR Group
