Well. Where do I start with this. I had an accident in January 2023 I was rear ended by another driver it’s now March 2023 and and it’s still not fixed. To their credit the initial call to them to report was very efficient and I received a hire car from auxilis (more on that shortly) within 2 days. I was told that the garage had been allocated within a week and had an initial call for photographs of the damage they were sent and I have not heard anything back. After a month the garage still had not contacted me and Ford refused to chase. After 6 phone calls I had to make a complaint which was taken and sent to the relevant department. The complaint was then closed and I was awarded compensation. No one spoke to me no one called me and my vehicle is still not fixed. A new garage has now been allocated and they want an excess sum. I was not made aware of this by Ford initially. Now to Auxillis - I was promised a like for like swap by both the Ford insurer and the Auxillis person on the phone. Not a like for like swap. The veh is faulty but you can’t report it to them. Ford won’t deal on your behalf. I am a disabled vulnerable female with mobility issues who is now isolated from society.

Where do I start! Accident end of November (not my fault). Claims Team constantly busy spent hours in queues trying to sort out. Made a complaint over phone, still not dealt with. Today 16 Feb 2023 (Almost 3 months later) I've received an email advising me to contact Evans Halshaw to take it in for an estimate over in Leeds...I live in Halifax with a Ford garage just down the road, but no it has to go to Leeds. Absolutely no way am I trailing to Leeds with two grandchildren. They are adamant I have to. Have spoken to Customer Care Team who are sorry but unable to help. They need to put me through to Claims Team again. I've requested they call me. Oh no, that can't happen I was told they don't ring people back. Customer Care have now filled a form in for a call back but it can't be guaranteed! Is this a joke! BE WARNED..NEVER USE FORD INSURE! They are a nightmare!

Like most insurances, you take our money and all’s good until we make a claim! Major problems with the incompetency of Ford Insure. Hit from behind, a witness to the accident which we got a full statement from, so the other drivers Insurance would pay for repairs. But the many times we called Ford Insure, you constantly told us that you had not had any reply from the other drivers' Insurance Company. So, 2 months after our claim, we decided to call the other drivers Insurance Co, thankfully it was an American Company, so very efficient, who told us they had signed off on the claim weeks ago! stating that their client was completely at fault and they would be covering the total cost of repairs to our car. The incompetence and bad management at Ford Insure is the worst I have come across in my entire 50 years of life

Had an accident and had to claim back in May 2021. My insurance booked my repairs into Days Repair Centre in Garngoch, Swansea. It has been 8 months and they still haven't sent off any invoices, nor have I recieved my reinbursment for my excess I was told I had to pay- and later be refunded. My car also came back to me with new scratches on my brand new alloys, and little details missed- like my windscreen wash tube still being broken! The car was fixed but only with bare minimum efforts. Ford Insurance (through Admiral) have made no efforts to chase up or help my case in any way either. It has been a back and fore battle between both companies, doing their work for them. Hopefully I get this flattened out soon!

Avoid this company they didn't take out my direct debit last month so I agreed to double pay this month now they are asking for £700 for a missed payment which was there mistake none of the agents are helpful either absolutely disgusting!!!!

Had a Ford Focus RS insured with them. When the policy came up for renewal it went up by 30% although I have over 30 years no claims bonus and am a driver trainer by trade. I changed my car to a Mercedes A200d and was told the price stays the same with 7 months left on it. The RS is group 40/40 and the Mercedes is a group 18/40. How can this be? Cancelled my misses' policy and I've been told £484 would be returned to my bank. A full week later I am still waiting. And to make things worse, they charge £25 to ammend your policy. Even with multi-car, the quote is far more expensive than insuring the cars elsewhere separately.

NEVER again will i go with this company. Had a crash in december and then they cancelled my policy, had the car repaired and the policy reinstated. All was well until i placed a cancellation as i was in a financial difficult situation. I rang up 2 days later to stop the cancellation as i had been given financial support of my parents so i didnt need the policy cancelled. They then proceeded to tell me that id have to pay £480 rest of the years premium and then pay monthly for my insurance ASWELL if i wanted to reinstate!!!! Absolute joke of a company

Insured with this company last Month. Had an email saying that there was a discretion on when I bought this car? 2018 I thought but it was 2019. No baring on the policy!? I have been charged over £30 for this! In a world where everyone should be helping each other, this insurance company seems to be looking at ways to charge for more! Unbelievable! Top work guys you should be proud!

Cannot get in touch with them. They have not responded to online communication and phone line cuts out and they do not call back.

All great until you have to claim. Hit from behind, not my fault. But offer on my written off car much lower than I paid 30 days previously, refused to consider national adverts for same model despite insurance ombudsman stating they should. I’m now stressed and very out of pocket following no fault accident.

Recently had a policy cancelled by this provider without notice and was charged £60 (i received the letters requesting additional paperwork 2 days after it was cancelled). The customer support team were un helpfull and unwilling to accept that the post had not arrived yet (mid-covid). In the words of their manager "this was my problem not theirs". I would strongly advise against using them.

It was great when they used Aviva , they now use Admiral and its awful and expensive .

Recently it changed to using Admiral who unlike the previous company (I think it was Aviva) charge a massive premium for being disabled . The customer care at Admiral is utterly useless and the online facilities don't work . Avoid Admiral and Ford Insure !

I called, automated system said that I would be seen within 1 minute, 12 mins later it stated 'sorry we are unable to take your call, please call later'! Disgusting!

My car was involved in car accident, in end of October 2019 and still I didn’t get my car repaired(31.01.2020 because this firm cannot obtain any details(that’s what they say) but every time I’m calling to them it seems they don’t call any authority to get the third party details from. And I’m sick to call them every two weeks and get different person that they cannot do anything but now they will send a form to receive that information, and when I’m asking why colleague before doesn’t done what he assured me to do in seconds. And the worst is to get calls if i want to claim repairs from my policy and I need to pay for it ... why then I got this Insurance for my car ? to pay for ma own repairs ? no thank you ! They claim I will get my money back if they will get those details of person who made damage but from my observation how this firm works I will never receive my money back because they don’t put interest in their Customers ! Definitely avoid this company . Never Again Ford Insurance !

Premium increased by £110 this year; £100 last. Despite being a customer since 2005, they would not budge on premium of £567. Won’t be using them again.
