Absolutely awful company to buy from. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I bought a £620 summerhouse through Argos from this company and I’m absolutely appalled. The wrong fixings were sent after 3 weeks of waiting for the summerhouse, then we found we were missing 5 other significant pieces as we were building it. The pieces were then sent incorrectly (TWICE) and after emailing I was ignored until I took to social media and threatened them with trading standards. After almost a month and a half I was offered £25 as a ‘good will gesture’ which is an insult in itself due to the absolutely shocking customer service received. When I expressed that this wasn’t enough I was told I was being excessive and if I didn’t like it I should tell Argos about it. We had to source several parts ourselves to ensure it would actually get built. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. I wish I wouldn’t read these reviews before I did.

Order fence panels through wickes, they passed it on to this company. I waited for the delivery on the day they gave. To receive a phone call to say the driver ran out of driving hours. Although on the map tracker it showed he went passed, so I assume he forgot.!! It now shows delivery has been made .but no fence has been left. Shocking service. Will now have to chase order.

Completely rebuilt door as gaps to big to fill also twisted. Completely built new roof as one provided so flimsy it sagged and also bought a roll of better quality felt as the felt provided split as you unrolled it. Removed some of the slats and refitted them as two panels had gaps in them letting the elements in. I then finished by putting 18mm osb board on the floor to strengthen it and cover the gaps between the boards. Overall this company should be ashamed of their total lack of quality in their products as they are certainly not value for money or even fit for purpose.

Very poor quality broken pieces on front and back walls, complete piece missing from back wall, unstable base, very rough wood on interior walls, will all have to besanded, some parts of wood were mouldy, will have to lay more boards on base as it feels current ones could go through and the whole structure is unstable. Very very shoddy workmanship, wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Failed delivery of shed twice. On the 3rd delivery it was 2 hours late and coincided with school run (I live opposite a school) the driver rang to say he couldn't park because of school pickup. When I explained my house was down a walkway and not accessible by vehicle the driver was not happy and said he would have to carry each piece. Why don't they bind the pieces together and provide a truck? So the driver having parked up proceeded to bring it to my house piece by piece and virtually chucked it against the wall of the house such attitude! After he completed and stomped off back to his van I went out to inspect. What a pile of rubbish, poor quality, chipped panels. It looked like it had been made from pieces of pallets! The result? I asked my builder guy to get some felt from B&Q and re cover my existing shed which is 30 years old and a bit worn is far superior to this new one and in return he could take away this pile of rubbish and build it in his garden to house his motorcycle. He was happy with the exchange. In conclusion do not buy from this company, better to go and view before you buy.

Poor poor quality, ill fitting panels, gaps and holes, flimsy do not buy! Delivery instructions left for driver were not followed, shed advertised as in stock by Travis Perkins arrived 7 weeks late, worst customer experience I've ever had 😵

Absolutely shocking quality doors don’t fit holes in the wood the felt was a waste of time. Nails sticking out windows warping and coming away, and trying to get it repaired don’t even go there.

Have to put extra felt on roof, windows have cracked, eves had snapped, wood warped, now I have floor boards with a hole in! I feel like I've built another shed.

Pent Overlap Garden Store. Poor quality and warped timber. Splits where nail gun has been used. Unplaned finish. One side panel had a one inch gap in it. Looked like it had been cobbled together by a blind person.

Very poor quality materials. Massively overpriced. Shed not much better than a cardboard box! Look elsewhere.

Ordered via Homebase and waited almost 8 weeks for delivery (due to COVID19) which can't be helped. However we paid £370 for and 8x6 shed which has arrived with holes, chips and gaps all over. Very flimsy wood would not recommend!

No notice of delivery given, even though we were told we would get 5 days notice. Returned home to find shed panels in back garden. Besides our panels we also had various parts from someone else's order......which came in handy to reinforce the weak structure of the shed. As others have said, the wood has knots and gaps and the nails have been poorly fixed in places. The floor bends and creaks very badly, and we have reinforced it with some spare OSP boards. The locking clasp was so cheap and poorly made we went straight out to Screwfix and got a replacement. The hinges on the doors do not look strong enough to last........only time will tell. The floor bearers are actually 1" square and not 2"x1" as shown in photogaphs. This also doesn't look hopeful for longevity. The pressure-treated shed apparently has a 15 year guarantee, but I very much doubt it will last more than 5 years. The provided roofing felt is of such poor quality that it tore as we carefully unrolled it. I have had to put a temporary repair on the roof until I can get round to replacing it. Finally, the design of the 8x6 shed is not a good one. The longest pieces of timber are 6' long, leaving the 8' side as a multitude of joined bits of wood. This lacks rigidity. If a number of 8' lengths had been incorporated the final shed would have been much better. Don't buy from this company. Find a local shed company and get them to build one from scratch. Yes it will cost twice the price, but it will last twice (at least!) as long and be fit for purpose. I have not contacted Forest Garden, and the other comments on here explain why......they don't listen.

This company is beyond a joke. Ordered through BuyShedsDirect with a good 6 weeks notice so selected a delivery date and heard nothing else until the day of delivery. They called on the day of delivery at the back end of the delivery slot to say they couldn’t deliver today as the delivery van was overweight. Unbelievable. I’ve then had to call every single day to try and get an update on when they could deliver but have been fobbed off at every turn. Spoke to them again today and was advised that they are now out of stock and we will need to wait at least another week for more stock to arrive. When asked what happened to the stock originally allocated to us, they said that when a delivery is not made the stock is then released (so basically they start the order process from scratch) and subsequently snapped up by someone else. I have no words....... Absolutely 100% avoid this company. Needless to say the order has been cancelled. I wish I’d seen these reviews before we ordered and with regular reviews saying the quality is poor, I’m glad I cancelled the order. Avoid, avoid, avoid (I cannot say that enough). If only you could give zero stars

I’d like to give 0 stars or minus if that was possible. I never spoke to anyone from the company and it was such a long time ago that I don’t even remember what site we ordered through. I ordered the large pent storage shed which looks amazing in the photo! The instructions where awful the wood is warped And bowed the hinges are bent and nails hanging out of everywhere (before we had even assembled the thing) Just such bad quality for something that cost so much money. I would not recommend this to anyone

Your service is absolutely shocking and to read other reviews exactly the same as what I've been through today ! Lied to all day myself and partner given false hope and being told different nonsense by clearly incompetent staff ! But let me tell you I'll be going to wicks who we paid and venting my thoughts and I honestly feel sorry for who ever deals with me ! I can't be bothered to list it all as think most of you have covered what needs to be said ! I cant tell you how angry I am this company needs shutting down it's a joke

Do not buy from this company! I bought a shed and was given a delivery date four weeks after purchase, I received a email on the morning confirming the delivery time, even included a photo of the driver holding a manifest with my order. Half an hour later I received another email telling me the delivery had been cancelled with very little explanation. Eventually the delivery was rebooked for the following week, I’d heard nothing at all so just to be sure I sent a text and an email asking for confirmation of the delivery, I was told don’t worry, it will be with you between 0955-1255...by 2 o’clock I’d heard nothing so I sent several emails and used the live chat and was told someone would look into it. About 3:30 I was told the delivery wasn’t going to happen! Eventually I got a half-hearted “sorry for your inconvenience but these things happen” from a supervisor, but still no sign of my shed. It seems these things happen all to often with this company, I wouldn’t use them again if they paid me!

I ordered fence panels through my local garden centre from Forest Garden. Paid in full and was told it would take three to four weeks to deliver. Four weeks past and I was then told the price had gone up by 7.5% and my order would take another four weeks once I paid the increase. The order was cancelled and I obtained my panels in 7 days at the original cost from another supplier. Forest Garden have now lost my custom and a future planned project for a 300 meter fence line and decking project. Shame on Forest Garden for trying to rip of it’s customers and not honour the original purchase. I have since found out through my local garden centre they have form for ripping off there customers. DO NOT purchase anything from this company as they have no customer care or ethics.

Ordered a shed online through a different company that uses Forest Gardens as the supplier and delivery. We were able to choose a date for delivery upon ordering the shed which we chose 15th June. On the 14th June we received an email saying our shed would be delivered on 15th between 9:17am - 11:17am but that we would receive an email on the morning of delivery to stipulate or more accurate time slot. On the morning of 15th June (delivery day) we did indeed receive an email stating that our shed will be delivered between 7am - 9am and so I tracked the driver as it enables you to do so and they were still in Cheltenham at 9am (we live in Bourton-on-the-Water 20mins away), that's fine I thought maybe they had a little delay, which happens. Well, at 10am I tracked the driver again to see how he was progressing and to my amazement he was heading down the M5! Kept tracking the driver every couple of hours and he ended up in Bristol and that is where he stayed up until around 1pm ish. The driver then headed back up the M5 and the tracking seemed to then cut off halfway up the M5. I called Forest Gardens several times to be told that they would ring me back with an update on my order and guess what never received one that day. I had an incline that I had been fobbed off and so I ended up googling reviews for this Company and have found that what is happening to my order happens quite regularly to others. Roll on Tuesday 16th June and I receive a call from Forest Gardens just after 9am stating that their was a problem with the loading of our shed. Apparently the load was too high and was deemed unsafe!!! Surely they know what orders they are picking up that day and should provide the correct transport to accommodate the loads should they not? He then proceeded to say I will have to put your order back through and we will then contact you at some point to give you another delivery date. Me knowing that I am being fobbed off said to him "your telling me that you can't give me a delivery date right here right now over the phone?" He couldn't give me a reasonable answer so knowing I was being fobbed I told him to no bother as I will be cancelling my order through the Company in which I placed the order. I have cancelled my order and am awaiting the refund of which they say will take up to 5 working days. I then on Weds 17th June received a text from Forest Gardens saying that my order will be delivered on 25th June despite the fact I have cancelled my order. I called the original Company in which I am awaiting the refund from to confirm the order is definitely cancelled and they confirmed it is. It will be a case of wait and see if they do try to deliver it on that day and if they do I will just have to laugh. Do not ever use this Company, how they manage to stay afloat is beyond me. Their customer service is shocking and zero f***s are given.

I work for a merchant that sell's forest garden products so ordered it through work expecting the service to be seamless. After being told it would be a 4 week wait due to Covid-19 which was understandable I received a delivery text 1 week after ordering stating my delivery would be arriving the day after in the morning. 4 hours after the estimated delivery times still no order so I rang up to question to find out that it was still in the warehouse and there was an error with the system, hence the incorrect delivery text. Annoying but was 3 weeks earlier than told originally so not too much of an issue. Coming up to 4 weeks after ordering I spoke to a lady called Emma on the live chat to ask for estimated delivery date in which she gave me a date 3 days after which was perfect but 3 days later I had received no delivery text the day before or the day of delivery so was sceptical. So again spoke to Emma on the live chat which confirmed delivery would be what she said before so I sat and waited for my delivery again and again no show. Rang up to speak again and a man called Amit dealt with my call but didn't know why it hadn't shown up and it was supposed to be there. He seemed confused so looked into it further for me and called me back. When he called back unfortunately there had been an error and they were unsure why but my delivery was on their system but was never loaded to the van. This meant my delivery was not getting deliverd on the day they had told me. I understand errors are made in companies but that is 2 days I have spent wasting time waiting for my order to arrive and have been waiting for 4 weeks now. The next delivery date they could get me would make me wait for a total of 7 weeks and there is nothing they can do in terms of an earlier date. I am really not happy with the lack of organisation in this company and how they have wasted my time multiple times waiting for a delivery which never shows. My own company who has direct contact can't even get a reason to why the order hasn't come which I believe is diabolical and makes forest garden's customer service department look incompetent. My delivery has obviously yet to arrive but I am now sceptical it will even come at all. 7 weeks for a flat pack shed is stupid. The customer service from Amit was polite and I appreciate him reordering my product to crease the errors out but I am not happy with my order basically being lost and the lack of information why it has been.
