Same as the others; very poor quality, holes, gaps, flimsy, warped panels, paper thin roof felting that is already coming off, missing parts and appalling customer service. I’ve been refused a repair or part compensation..they want me to pay £180 to take it down and lose the £350 I paid to put it up to get a refund!!! Their solution is to send replacement parts without paying for labour…but have said they’ll probably warp again! I’m going ahead with the small claims court as it’s unacceptable so many people are being treated this way. Shame on B&Q for selling their products and being unhelpful in the matter.

Just read all the other one and two star reviews, and PLEASE take notice of them. I had all of the same problems. These included warping of the 7mm wooden slats still happening 2 years after erection, with gaps up to 2cm. I also experienced rain water actually soaking through these very thin sheets, and was told that "rot proof doesn't necessarily mean waterproof". They did, however, recommend using Cementone Water Seal, and actually paid for 10 litres of this. In fairness, the Customer Service Dept. are exceptionally quick to respond to complaints, and are far better than most similar companies. Finally, when I sent a 2-years-on report of problems I had experienced, purely to update them, and asking for nothing, their Senior Technical Adviser responded that they consider the matter has been dealt with, and referring me to Trading Standards, even informing me that they have a contact there, and deal with them regularly. One wonders why? In short, I would advise anyone to avoid this product .

Comms and delivery were excellent but as reported by others the quality of the product is really very poor. The 'modular' construction means that a gable end (for example) comprises 6 individual panels. If they were well made then maybe that would work but the uprights and battens are of a very small cross section and most are warped which makes putting the shed together really problematic. The finished result is very patchy with visible gaps between panels due to warping. Frankly, if I could have sent it back I would have done. I thought I was buying good value for money and that circa £500 would get me a decent shed. In reality, all I have is a very flimsy shack that will no doubt leak like a sieve. I think it's a very poor product and frankly a rip off at the price.

We ordered the Forest 4Life 25yr Guarantee Overlap Pressure Treated Double Door Apex Wooden Shed to be delivered on Thursday so that we could build it over the bank holiday weekend. We began dissembling our old shed first as the new shed was going in that same place. Within about 5 seconds of building the new shed we found damage, with the flooring cracked, big pieces chipped off, and they were not even square with each other and had massive gaps in between them. We also found that most of the cracks were caused by the nails that were put in by the manufacturers, we had to take out one nail to try to close a gap it created, and found the nail was bent in a U-shape, so whoever hammered it in showed no care at all. We found this laziness and carelessness throughout, and we had no option but to keep building the shed as we needed somewhere to keep all our gardening equipment and tools, so we kept taking pictures of all the damage we were finding to show the manufacturer at the end when we finally finished building. Most of the problems we would only discover in the process of building, such as things not lining up and wood being so bend out of shape doors wouldnt close, and random patched of rotted wood which made putting screws in impossible etc. When we finally sent all the pictures to the manufacturer they simply said that once we began building the shed we accepted the condition. How can that be the case when we did not know the condition until we built it? How can we tell that nothing was going to be square and there would be massive gaps and holes until it was assembled? We also contacted B&M as they sold the shed to us, and they did give us a 10% good will gesture payment but only on the condition that we wouldn't be able to revisit this issue. Also we noticed after a good rain that the inside walls get wet... I have seen a review before where this was expressed and the company just answered that they never said it was waterproof! As if people are building sheds to keep their tools wet! I expected terrible quality based on how cheap it was compared to other sheds for the same floor space, but I was prepared to do a little extra work to make it more stable or beef up areas ect, but I may as well have just bought the wood myself and built a shed, this kit did not save us any extra time or make anything easier. The only part that wasn't difficult or poor quality was the roofing membrane, but the putting the roof on was still a massive pain cause there was missing brackets, nothing was square, not even the roof sheets were square! Putting this shed up and finding problem after problem made us so miserable and furious we will never go near anything made by this company ever again, and my partner has even sworn off ever putting up any shed again as it was such a horrible experience. It did not help it was the hottest bank holiday in May on record either, and if it this was manufactured with care we might have actually had time to enjoy the weather instead of sweating under the sun trying make anything line up. Also their "windows" are about as thick and sturdy as takeaway tray lids. Actually, they are less sturdy. The instructions just tell you to put a screw through them into the wood to hold them there so that tells you how safe your tools are inside this shed... I think the best protection from burglars is they will assume you couldn't afford anything worth stealing with a shed as ugly as that! The reviews on trust pilot are all about the delivery drivers and not the product so its either faked by them or people feeling sorry for the delivery drivers. We felt sorry for ours too, they only sent one man to unpack the whole lot! We couldn't help as we were working. Maybe if they looked after their employees better their sheds wouldn't be so garbage.

So we bought a shed via argos from forest garden, very poor quality, gaps everywhere, doors didn't hang right, hinges not strong enough for the doors and the roof was a pain to fit as shed was twisted. The screws were like toffee and bent when put in and the felt was like tissue paper just ripping everywhere! We contacted forest garden and told them ot was being returned for refund, they requested pictures of the shed which we did and said basically there's no 2 ways about it you're having it back!. It was collected by their courier who said that he picks alot of their sheds up and they literally do not care how many come back! This was around a month ago and still no refund as forest garden weren't aware it had been returned and just keep fobbing us off! I would never buy anything from them again!

What a great she and easy to build 4ft X 6ft. All material was correct and present even extra screw etc. I'm really happy with the finish and just built in time for the rain.

Bought a shiplap shed because I believed it would be more water resistant. Very poor quality. Gaps between the shiplap which were avoidable if the panels were assembled correctly. Some large gaps, water leaks through.

Terrible quality beckford summerhouse bought from sheds direct . Impossible to fit the windows as per the instructions due to z strips not being correct size - even though video provided of problem - forest garden just kept referring us to the instructions which wasn’t helpful. Would never purchase again

Brentwood shiplap 15x10 shed. Absolute garbage. Roofing felt not fit for purpose as ripped as unrolling it, rips as trying to use it. Pieces of wood supplied are not strong enough to use for roof trusses. Shed sides are not stable as wood is flimsy. Wood panels shrink and leave massive gaps so shed is not water tight at all. Thin plastic sheets supplied as windows which flex not at all stable and had to buy wood to cover all round to make water tight. Now had to buy a couple of fence posts with metal stands to prop up the roof and hold up the flimsy roof trusses. Recovered the roof with roll of rubber roofing felt to make it water tight. Flooring supplied is far too thin to span the shed competently so had to buy boards to go over the top as when you walked on it it bounced and felt as though you would go through. All in all we have spent £500 rectifying as best we can this appalling build of a shed. I would not recommend these sheds at all….. cheap and nasty and not fit for purpose.

Respecting the time you offered, and a very easy and smooth delivery of the product. Drivers were carl and Darrwen W and they have been helpful and very cooperative. I was not able to write my review on Trust pilot because did not opened the site for UK ands they mentioned that I live in UK.

waiting for further response from forest garden, shed wet inside, extreme mould on inside of roof, floor wet, inside walls wet. Packets of grass seed sitting in pool of water, these will be no good now. Forest garden advised us, who are pensioners, to clean mould from inside the roof then treat outside of the shed. We were then informed the contract was not with them but with the company we ordered their shed from!! Like a previous customer of theirs if I could give a minus star I would.
