“I ordered Stroud & Barr For Dummies kit which was on an expected three day dispatch, this changed to on back order shortly after placing my order, (Fotosense trafficlight stock system) which due to Fotosense supliers lack of stock was extended to a week and a half but Fotosense kept me informed and updated on supply throughout the delay and once they'd received the stock from their supplier upgraded my delivery to tracked next day delivery FOC (I'd only gone standard 1st class). Whilst the delay may have been disappointing I believe that it was genuinely a distributor supply glitch and as I was kept fully informed by e-mail this was not an issue especially as the price paid (including delivery) was the best that I could find anywhere from a trusted source. The product arrived very well packaged and protected and as described. A special thank you to Tom for at Fotosense his help.”

“I purchased the Metz 76 Mz-5 and various accessories. All worked fine - except in one instance; the prices offered were exceptionally good. Unfortunately, it would not work with the Sca 3302 adaptor for Sony/Minolta - and in particular with the Sony NEX-7 - that particular combination was actually my prime reason for acquiring the gun! . I had to return the adaptor as apparently faulty. Subsequently, after much investigation, I discovered that virtually all distributors are ignorant as to the EXACT requirements to marry-up adaptors with cameras; the links between specific camera models and the adaptor firmware have to be quite specific with some models - not necessarily as apparently published by Metz in their SIMPLE (but wrong!) lists, and therefore quite beyond the regular knowledge of almost all distributors. The detailed information is published (at least for my camera) in German only on the German website. There is one man at Metz in Britain that appears to be cognisant of the details, and advises that versions to match specific cameras can be ordered specifically (by distributors only), or customer's existing purchases can be returned directly to Metz to have the firmware revised free-of-charge, where an issue occurs. Metz blame the problem on camera manufacturers deliberately making their equipment essentially non-compatible. In my case, the Metz gun & other adaptors for my Canon & Nikon cameras worked fully. A dedicated Minolta 5600 gun worked on the NEX-7 camera, but the 76-MZ-5 flashgun plus the SCA 3302 version M9 (latest) adaptor did not work - despite information published in English stating that it would work; apparently, only the M8 version does work; apparently anomalies apply to other (unspecified to me) cameras. “I order 7 inks for my Epson printer and 6 of them arrived within 3 day. Yes one of them has gone on back order and we hope that it will be despatch as soon as thy can. But at lest they have seen what thy had and not keeped me waiting which to me is good.”
