“A good course, giving a general overview on accounting processes and cash flow and there were things to be learnt and benefit from for all level of zee.
I think the course would be better suited to new zees as part of their initial training, as it would help them more than someone who has a number of shops.
I definitely think a 15 minute section around setting up two accounts for the business, and moving money on a weekly basis to a rent/vat/tax account would be very useful for new zees as they will learn to manage their finances and cashflow easier. Having a main day to day account, and a separate one for rolling costs to cover their bills will give a zee a better idea of the money that they have to run the business with.”
“I was always sceptical of previous reviews, however, having engaged Franchise Finance to assist with the preparation of my business plan, and securing finance, I have to say the service was faultless. Having prepared the business plan, it has taken almost 2 years to secure suitable premises, and during that time Glyn has continued to provide support and guidance, updating the plan to reflect the ever changing start date, and updated assumptions as the market has changed.
I had suggested obtaining finance from a particular institution, however despite very positive meetings, the elapsed time and changing financial market and my very specific conditions, an agreement could not be reached with conditions that were personally acceptable. “Don't know your thoughts but personally I have been to many training events and left thinking that the only thing that was any good was the food! I can't say that about the training on the 25th May's event as the training with was far superior to the food which was pretty blood good!!
