“The sawmill Frontier OS23 has several design and build-quality issues. In its original state, it used too many low-grade bolts and nuts, which were not suitable for continuous operation and had to be replaced with higher-grade hardware.
Many adjustment systems rely on threaded T-handles that lack durability and tend to lose precision over time. The B&G motor is underperforming, and the flywheel adjustment system is poorly designed, making accurate calibration difficult. The guides are also substandard, affecting cut quality and consistency.
The sawmill now performs adequately, but only after multiple modifications. Its current functionality is the result of these improvements rather than its original design.”
“I’m happy with the sawmill and items I’ve purchased this year alone but shipping and delivery never happens like they say it will. When they say we can deliver to remote areas that’s not true I’m not in a remote area and still had to drive a mile and haul the sawmill home. Lack of clear tracking information on some orders so you have to call to get that information.”
“Purchased an OS27 and mobility package while on sale. Shipping and packaging was good. Assembly was challenging and the instructions were quite bad. There are discrepancies, missing steps, vague language and steps. Some parts were already rusting, others had minor manufacturing defects. There were way too many of some bolts and not enough of others, adding to the confusion. Tech support answered quickly but gave many unsatisfactory answers. Overall many aspects could be improved.”
