“The saw in general runs and cuts great just wish they would put bigger clutch on it to start with and give specs on how tight to set the blade but once you figure that out it is a good cutting saw very pleased with it.

“The instructions are difficult to understand, the pictures and instructions do not correspond, and it was difficult figuring out how to assemble it. After I finally got it assembled and working it performed great. I accidentally cut into one of the dogs and destroyed the blade. The water tank leaked and I called about it and explained about sawing into the dog, the tank and the dog were replaced. I ordered new blades at the same time, and was told it would take two weeks for them to be delivered. It has been two weeks and I have not received them nor an email telling me when they will be shipped.”
“Bought this mill to be able to cut the top and bottom side of 8-10" diameter logs for building a cabin, and for the most part it worked fantastic for that. I bought one extnetion, but wish I'd of bought 2 to cut longer logs, but the process of leveling the deck was quite a chore. I did however have a problem with the performance of the engine at our high elevation of almost 8000 feet. Customer service was extremely friendly, but provided no answer to the problem other than "get a small engine tech to look at it". They said they've never had one of their sawmills at that high of elevation before. I also had a huge challenge with shipping of the mill. Half of the package got lost in transit somewhere and I had to spend the next 4-5 weeks on the phone back and forth before finally getting all the components. Other than that, I'm super happy with it for what I'm doing.”

The optional attachments are also a great addition. I have already installed the manual log loader, which has been a real time-saver, and I am looking forward to attaching the Mobility package soon.

“I have an OS31 with trailer, 1 extension and the 14 Hp electric start Kohler engine. So far the saw is working well and has proved capable for the milling projects I have been doing. The saw sets up quickly and is accurate. It tows well and is easy to get into position.
Things that could take it to the next level: a cam style log dog verses the screw ones and the handle material at the throttle/lube control should be more robust. The handle is now hockey tape. The log dogs swing around if dropped after release and can easily injure you as you flip the log.
All in all it is a great mill and will yield many years of lumber making.”
“I own the OS27 and it has been a great tool in the recovery of our 11 acres that burned in a fire last year. It is great to know that I am putting the trees to good use. When I first got the sawmill and started to put it together, the instructions were about 80%. They really lack if you have purchased the trailer package and an extension. But after working through that, it has been great!”
