Brought a used one used 3 times m2r 90r. Put on a new carb, new solenoid, new stater switch, new tank of fuel ( high grade ) stripped and cleaned carbon, new battery, doubled spring the throttle as it didn't return. And still no start. Starts for a fee seconds with easy start spray. Customer service just suggest buy the next part. I will exceed the cost of the bike. Truly low quality parts and they rely on good reviews where customers have been lucky. This is not the case. There is no info on carb set up nor do they know. 1 week trying to fix it, missed a track session, drove to the outlet to get the part and some crucial parts not in stock. Their suggestion and you will love this, buy all the parts you think and send back what you didn't need. Never buy any pit bike of any make because this is equalivent to a Christmas cracker, limited use, wear put quickly. Same as turning the tap on with the plug open.

My son bought his first ever dirt bike, rode it once and sump plug fell out. Called them and they sent the wrong plug out twice so oil was leaking and engine damaged beyond repair. No apology, no exchange or refund offered DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY "

Appalling company. I bought an electric bike, it was faulty and - finally - it was replaced. The replacement had faulty brakes - incredibly dangerous given it is designed and marketed to children - finally the brakes were replaced. I say finally in that it took dozens of emails in which Funbikes seems to attempt to avoid their legal duties under the warranty. The battery now does not, after less than 3 months, and the same situation again - interminable emails, repetition and obfuscation. Deeply deeply appalling customer service and poorly made products. Avoid avoid avoid.

TL;DR - Fun Bikes have mis-sold me a quad (at a cost of £550). They are reluctant to resolve the problem, and now it seems they are avoiding my emails altogether. Do not trust this company if you want a shred of customer service! - I enquired about a children’s electric quad bike before purchasing to ensure it had a feature that was important to me (lockable speed mode). I received a reply stating the speed mode was lockable via a key - perfect. I replied again to double check it was lockable as it was important it was, their reply was yes it’s definitely lockable via a key barrel under the seat, so I went ahead and purchased the quad bike. Once I received the quad bike I checked the lockable speed mode and immediately noticed a hole where the lockable key barrel should have been. Instead, next to it was a plastic switch to change the speed mode but with no way of locking it. I checked the instructions and indeed in the instructions it shows a key barrel to lock the speed mode. I contacted the Fun Bikes and all I kept getting was an apology, with no actual explanation why the key barrel had been cut out or any offer of a return/compensation! They reluctantly offered a partial refund, voucher, or full refund after inspection. I asked how much of a partial refund might I receive, and I’ve heard nothing since. That was 2 days ago, I’ve messaged every day since - nothing. This whole shambles has now been going on for a week. Fun Bikes have mis-sold me a quad (at a cost of £550), they have been reluctant to resolve the problem, and now it seems they are avoiding my emails altogether. They have tried calling to ‘resolve the situation’ but I found the voicemail left was a little intimidating and quite frankly I do not want to speak to them on the phone, there’s nothing here that can’t be resolved through email. Avoid this company at all costs if you want even the slightest bit of good customer/after sales care!

Plenty of irony in the name. The experience from start to still not finished/resolved has been shocking. To keep it as short as possible ... - Faulty bike. - Awful/apathetic customer service. - No one in the company has taken any responsibility for an ongoing issue that is now 9 months unresolved. A massive amount of hassle created and as of today - we now have a new charger but still no bike. Two very disappointed children who have not been able to use their Christmas present. Give your money to this company at your peril. Happy to answer any response from management here as have made no headway after repeated calls and requests for a call back.

Honestly avoid this company!!! Purchased mini quad for my 5 yr old son. Advert for quad states suitable for 4-8 year olds. Upon receipt of the item, the instruction manual stated not for use for under age 12 years as at risk of serious injury or death!!! Contacted Funbikes who dismissed the 12 year old warning stickers and continued to say quad suitable for 4-8 year olds despite the manufacturer manual and quad itself having warning stickers not to be used under age 12 years. Funbikes refused to refund me on the basis of misadvertisement and stated it would be treated as a change of mind and I was not guaranteed to receive my full refund. I was told I'd have to pay for return postage myself which cost in excess of £60+. After a long battle with their shocking customer service who were exceptionally rude, in particular a call handler named Zarah, also Anne & manager April were very unhelpful, I finally received my refund after a lot of stress. Funbikes should not be allowed to false advertise when manufacturers have clear warnings of age suitability. Avoid this company if you have any sense, shop elsewhere!!

I bought an electric MXR from funbikes for my son's birthday and paid for express shipping. Waited at home for 2 days, to be told it was never shipped. My son was distraught. April called from Funbikes, sounded contrite and genuinely caring and offered to refund the delivery costs - to which I agreed. I chased up a week later to find that she had changed the offer to a refund of £6 for delivery. Naturally I responded to that email and she has still not replied 4 days later, nor has any refund been received. Eventually the bike arrived, and I charged the battery overnight as instructed. The bike worked, then refused to hold any further charges. After 8 hours of charging the run time is less than one minute. So far 6 phone calls to Funbikes and no one has made any attempt to contact me to resolve the situation. I've never been put through to Customer Service nor to their Technical team, no effort of any kind has been made to resolve the fault bike and no one responds to voicemails, calls or emails. AVOID AVOID AVOID. The worst customer service I have ever come across. Utterly shameful.

And you will not get anywhere with it like me and end up with a big pile off useless metal! Worst company going😂

Wouldn't bother with this company I got my son a bike christmas paid £400 for this bike to have a faulty battery from day 1, they expected me to do test on the bike and battery and still nothing been resolved even tho ive been on the phone to them since January and now we are in september, the battery has been sent back twice now and they want me to pay for a new battery i don't think so 🤔 I could understand if this happened after the warranty run out but no it was from day 1. I have seen a lot of people now having this same issue do dont buy a bike or anything g from this company they are a joke and waste of time. Customer services are a joke and andrew the manager says he wants to get the problem solved as its been going on long enough but then tells me today I can buy a battery off them for £100 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 I don't think so. You have all been warned

This company is shocking and I don’t think there even working they keep you hanging on phone line when there not even there. I’ve been trying for over 6 months now to get through for spares for bikes that have. Broken there basically scrap now because you can’t get spare parts and if you order on there website there out of stock. If you read this just answer the phone people have given you a lot of money for bikes etc at least you should have the decency to answer there calls.

Bought an electric dirt bike for my son at Christmas which cost about £350 and in June just stopped working , On contacting them we was told the warranty is only for 3 months but clearly faulty so sent back to them !!! Tests were done and I was told it was 100% faulty and didn’t pass the 1st fault test and that everything is recorded , I’ve bought £35 electric ride ons that last longer !!!!! They are now refusing to replace and want me to pay £170 for a new battery !!!! No discount nothing !!! Manager informed me to either buy the battery or sell the bike !!!! This is disgusting and I would not buy from this company as the battery will only last 6 months max !!!! The same thing has happened to our friends bike , DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY !!! I’ve a very upset little boy

After me and some friends buying 3 pit bikes this year from fun bikes without a problem$$$$ BUT AFTER buying some parts online from fun bikes I had made an error and ordered a part that is not compatible with my bike. This is where the whole problem started. I spent at least 2-3 hours trying to get through to there parts department even one time I had the phone answered to be hung up on after a brief hello. After a few hours I got through to them again and the rep ordered the right parts for me and assured me I could return the wrong parts :) hooray I thought.. two days later the parts arrived and they where aslso wrong.. after about 5 days of calling everyday and twice being told by representatives they could t help me because the “guy” who deals with the parts isn’t in and they would call me the same day at 3pm.. never happened on both occasions. After about a week I finally got through to someone that sounded quite promising. A manager called Sameer. He assured me that he would sort the problem out and handle the returns. He sent an email to his manager and I had a phone call from one of the owners of fun bikes on a withheld number. We spoke he went into my account and seen the bike and all the parts I had ordered. Assured me the right parts have now been sent with a returns slip for all the wrong parts.... even before hanging up the phone I didn’t trust him. His voice just didn’t seem sure ya noo? I asked him about the returns he sighed and said there would be a return slip sent with my new parts 😂 and to my surprise there wasn’t !! When the new parts arrived they where also wrong :) so at this point I ya e phones transactions over the cause of three weeks adding up to 7 and half hours of being on hold. No parts for my bike. And I’m £90 down.... so I email them again with a description of the problem. Ring them after the weekendon Monday morning to be told my email wouldn’t have been read untill later that afternoon. But then again obviously the other 3-4 emails I’ve sent and had no replie to over the two weeks most not have been read either ha... told yesterday that sameer there manger is useless and that he would have my problem sorted by the end of the day.. honestly I don’t know why I bothered to believe him. All in all. If you spend money on a bike from them you you’ll receive it. Just don’t expect good customer service. And honestly even after listening to your phone lines for 7and half hours no and I mean no one is going to believe that monologue. Well I’m going to make my morning coffee and commence my daily phone call to funbikes....

Absolutely disgusted. I am a new rider who messaged to ask about a suitable bike and I got one or two word replies making me feel stupid. I enquires about the different sizes and got them seat size would be the main clue’ as a response. You won’t sell many bikes with that disgusting attitude towards new customers and people new to the sport. I was asking for general information. I didn’t need a side of sarcasm. Well done. You really put the ‘fun’ in ‘fun bikes’. *thumbs up*

The most awful company we’ve ever dealt with. Bought a £500+ electric motor cross bike for our young son for Christmas. On Boxing Day things started to go wrong with it! Since then he’s only rode it on the garden at weekends for a total of 6 hrs and it has been out of action due to things breaking more than it has been ridden. It has been returned twice for repair and although it’s clearly not fit for purpose fun bikes have refused to refund or credit note the bike even though it is well within warranty. Funbikes have even acknowledged that the repair work performed by their technicians has lead to further faults but they refuse to take any responsibility. Finally we had to nag with more emails and phone calls to get them to return the bike to us, to find parts are still not repaired on its arrival. So we are left with a faulty, dangerous bike that is not fit for purpose and our very upset son still has no Christmas present. We will be looking for a more reliable, honest company to replace our sons Christmas present to a safer, better quality motorbike. Leaving us very out of pocket. Funbikes will not be receiving any further custom from us when we purchase other vehicles in the future and considering we have 3 young boys all into motorbikes and quad bikes, that’s many years of custom lost. We have contacted trading standards and we will be taking the matter further. As a company they are rude, have ignored our emails, not returned phone calls, have absolutely no morals and have not given us any satisfaction or confidence that this issue will not be ongoing. They make decisions solely to benefit their business not their clients, without any justification. Their products are cheap and poor quality and their customer service is atrocious. A total rip off!! Unless you want to waste your money on goods that only last a day and are dangerous, do not buy from this company!
