“We bought two bikes for Christmas in 2018 from FunBikes. We asked them to do the assembly so we could pick them up ready to go. We got a email to say the bikes where ready ( a 140cc RF and a Quad) When we got there a guy gave us a complete run down on both machines before we took them.Had some teething problems after a month or so riding. I rang them, spoke to their mechanic and he told me how to remedy the problem, a simple fix. Never had a problem with the staff or the phone or the bikes. I did have a problem with a battery (under warranty)so I rang FunBikes (James) I'll put one in the post. I've read some of the bad reviews written here. They seem to be written by the same person using different names. 'Check the spelling/grammer' . If you want a new bike and don't want to break the bank go and see FunBikes for yourself.”

“Had my scooter five month,screen stopped working,few emails later I have the part on route,very kind and respectfull,customer service reply within a few hours which is brilliant considering less staff are on and covid restrictions,thank you”

“I have purchased 5 bikes from the company over the years and i've never had an issue with any off the bikes until the latest which was only a small issue with the battery which after some quick dialog with their lead technical adviser they had a battery in the post the next day. For me their customer service is brilliant.”

“Came in looking for parts to build another pit bike for my daughter. Bought a seat gear selector and new tank. Came home and fixed it all up. the parts shop is excellent and the guys always there to help after a ring on the bell. FBAA64CE2”

I’ve a great experience with Fun bikes quad turned up the next day after ordering over the phone every time I’ve phoned up always had great staff service, Blue mini moto quad turned up in perfect shape my son loves it!!!!!!!!! Deffinetly be using again! Thank guys for your kind service and great products!!!”

“I have to speak as i find and after purchasing a quad for my grandson it was used for a very short period of time and then it stopped. I went on and read some of the reviews and thought i was going to have dramas to the enth degree. I spoke to their tech department and contrary to what some of the reviews stated the guy i spoke to was very helpful. Now i have a bit of an advantage in as much as i have an auto electrician to hand and after following the advice from their tech guy we set about in an attempt to isolate the issue. We found that it was the main electronic control box and i relayed that information to their guy and they immediately agreed to send the new part out. Okay not everyone has an electrician to hand but i must say i really can't complain about how they dealt with this and to put the icing on the cake i received the new part the very next day, it's now on and the quad is running as it should so all in all i have had a very positive experience with Funbikes and based on that i wouldn't hesitate to use them again.”

“Why does there website never work iv been trying to order a part for my pit bike for months and even before that my electric scooter needed a chain an I still havn't got one from your website because you can't complete order fix these problems never had a problem with use until this started happening a few months ago”

“I brought my son the M2R RF125 S2 125cc it came the tank had glue steak running down the front a replacement tank was sent. The bike leaked fuel the switch in and off didn’t turn it off as stated new part sent fitted at my cost and stopped the leak however first time going to a track today and the bike expert had a look over it and found a few faults my son nearly snapped his ankle last week as he tried to kick the bike over the kick start pushed down about a quarter of the way before it makes contact hence he hurt his ankle also the throttle had way to much play only had it Christmas and only rode it 5 times for 5 minutes each time bike Boggs really not pleased and want this returned fixed properly and sent back to me shouldn’t have any problems with a brand new bike customer service is good no problems getting through just not happy with the bike in this condition.”

“Brought a used one used 3 times m2r 90r. Put on a new carb, new solenoid, new stater switch, new tank of fuel ( high grade ) stripped and cleaned carbon, new battery, doubled spring the throttle as it didn't return. And still no start. Starts for a fee seconds with easy start spray. Customer service just suggest buy the next part. I will exceed the cost of the bike. Truly low quality parts and they rely on good reviews where customers have been lucky. This is not the case. There is no info on carb set up nor do they know. 1 week trying to fix it, missed a track session, drove to the outlet to get the part and some crucial parts not in stock. Their suggestion and you will love this, buy all the parts you think and send back what you didn't need. Never buy any pit bike of any make because this is equalivent to a Christmas cracker, limited use, wear put quickly. Same as turning the tap on with the plug open.”

“My son bought his first ever dirt bike, rode it once and sump plug fell out. Called them and they sent the wrong plug out twice so oil was leaking and engine damaged beyond repair. No apology, no exchange or refund offered DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY "”

“Appalling company. I bought an electric bike, it was faulty and - finally - it was replaced. The replacement had faulty brakes - incredibly dangerous given it is designed and marketed to children - finally the brakes were replaced. I say finally in that it took dozens of emails in which Funbikes seems to attempt to avoid their legal duties under the warranty. The battery now does not, after less than 3 months, and the same situation again - interminable emails, repetition and obfuscation. Deeply deeply appalling customer service and poorly made products. Avoid avoid avoid.”

“IS THIS COMPANY STILL TRADING? Tried to order on line but they have website problems so I telephoned my order but my £1243.90 payment was taken TWICE, so had to ring my bank to cancel one payment, ????The other £1243.90 IS PENDING???? My bank advised NOT TO PAY INTO THEIR BANK DIRECT but to leave my payment pending. Tried web chat - waited and waited - NO ANSWER Tried ringing their Derby office - Directed abroad. 3 hours on the phone, did manage to get an e mail address - given XXXXXXXXX - NO REPLY. One message received did say their showroom may never be re-opened???? PLEASE READ "THIS AS A WARNING" ??????? Date of experience: 27 December 2022”
