the customer service is poor, they never know when your items will be delivered

The advert states free delivery to UK mainland - they then stated that due to my location (UK mainland) that they needed an additional £60 for delivery !! What’s more started to get hounded u til I answered them. I’m just hoping I get my refund but will be sure to write another review regarding that

Awful company. Blamed their desks cracking when screwing in screws to ‘customer error’ and won’t refund. Such bad quality. Avoid!

bunch of unprofessional liars. avoid them. 3.5 months of ignoring my emails for a product that should have been delivered after 1 month. Went to my bank to file a complaint

We ordered 14k of office furniture that we needed by a specific date, which they said would be no problem. Then told us on the day of delivery that it was not coming, after fighting for a few days we had some of the furniture, but still waiting for benches, stools and lockers. We are now four months later, they ignore any request for a refund via email or calls, and when you do finally get through to someone they just say a refund is coming and nothing happens. We have now decided to take county court action but of course they are based in Scotland, so different laws and different ways of doing it. If this company is still in business soon i will be amazed, they have the worst service ever, and they hide away when things go wrong. Seriously i would suggest you look at other companies as you will be let down.

Absolutely appalling company - never return calls, fob you off, and disgraceful customer service from, wait for it, the customer services manager! Refuse to refund me the £60+ I paid to have my desk assembled which was not done. Horrible to deal with. Avoid at all costs unless you want weeks of stress and hassle.

Appalling company avoid at all costs!! Office chair received with manufacturing faults. The actual chair for the cost had very poor castors too, so very hard to manoeuvre. Said they would sent replacement arm, nothing arrived so I decided to return faulty chair. Then ended up in middle of row between manufacturers and Furniture at Work as to the payment of the collection charge. Still waiting for collection and my refund weeks & weeks later :( very very not happy :( I am so upset this is the first bad review I have ever left a company :(

bought a chair was nothing like it said or showed turned up with marks on it so asked to return it that was ok then email landed wont refund and i have to pay to get the chair returned to me shocking staff are very rude managers not available to speak to total shambles of a company

Goods not in stock so the advertising was misleading. They contacted me to suggest something else, the alternative was made of very different material but I accepted as I just need to find some different seating . That all went through. Then, a couple of days later, they then announce that the replacement will take 2 more weeks. Please folks - unless you are happy with a misleading advert and a 20+ day lead time, don't order from this company.

Absolute worst customer experience I have ever had. I ordered a chair but then i wanted to exchange it for a different one, and was initially told it would be super easy and I would 'definitely not have to pay' any fee for returning the chair. I was told all I had to do was email a photo of the chair that arrived, and a link of the chair I had intended to buy and they would exchange it for me, simple, they said! So that's what I did. And I waited. I chased. I spent hours on hold. But then I was told they couldnt exchange it but they'd pick up the chair and then i could order the new one but I wouldn't have to pay. I then chased and chased for 2 weeks with emails ignored, being told multiple times id be called back and I wasn't. After 2 weeks I was told that I had to pay £19 for them to pick up the chair. Why did it take 2 weeks of my time chasing and being ignored for them to decide it was going to cost me £19 to exchange for a more expensive chair. It then took another 2 weeks of me calling asking to speak to a manager before someone called me. The manager refused to listen to me and said that I had to pay, despite the hours of stress and my time already spent. Obviously I am not going to order the more expensive chair now. Absolutely shocking service all around

I wish I had read these reviews before buying from them. Do not use this company - I wish I hadn't! I ordered a set of 3 office desks with drawers and some chairs. Two out of the 3 drawers were damaged or incomplete and one of the chairs was missing completely. I have reported this several times and barely get a response or acknowledgement. I placed this order almost 2 months ago and it is still not complete. I am still waiting for a chair that cost almost £200.

Worst company we have ever dealt with. Zero communications. Ordered desk last year and sent it back for a refund. Took over 3 months and over 50 emails chasing them. Put a poor review on Trust Pilot and they removed it ! DONT READ TRUSTPILOT. They are paid to publish only good reviews

Purchased a desk 19 months ago. It is now bowing in the centre; clearly a design fault. Furniture at work have ignored my emails and no longer answer their phones. I would avoid them at all costs.

All the negative press on this company is true. Here months later with no product and out of pocket. No one will call you back when you complain or try get a refund. I have literally been robbed by them.

absolutly appauling customer service, still waiting on a replacement item that arrived damaged, then the replacement arrived damaged, this was delivered in december, it is now nearly april, they do not respond to emails (9 emails now). queues on the phone to get through, hwoever, you can get through to place a new order within seconds. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Ordered a chair on 20th Feb, they rang to inform me it would be delayed. It arrived built as I ordered. The name on the invoice was different but I was prepared to forgo that and a missing part near the arm. I contacted them later to explain after trying the chair that I'd like a refund. They said they would send me an email detailing the price for the item to be picked up. They did and charged me £39.36+VAT for the return on item that cost £111 including VAT and free delivery! I initially refused stating my reasons. After hearing nothing from I rang and after waiting 10 mins was told to send a photo of the damage on the chair and so I did an received no response. So a few days later I rang again and after waiting 10 minutes again I was able to speak to Craig Ferguson who refused to take the chair back without me agreeing to the fee. I said I'd like to speak to someone else and was told I couldn't. I said I'd like to complain and he said that I already had. To complain normally means someone contacts you and gives you response but not from this company, nothing, customer service is just a phrase but non existent in this company. He continued to say I signed for the item he was a manager so he made the decisions. Stay far away is my advice.

Don’t use this company. They took order 3 weeks ago, still chair not delivered. Cannot even chase calls Waiting and waiting. Terrible service Will never use them again

Do not use this company ! They take your money for your order,then don’t keep you informed as promised, then they hang onto your money after cancelling the order and you have to do all the chasing !!! Very poor experience

Please avoid this company. You can see the trend below. Post delivery - terrible customer service, false promises, not replying to the emails- both directly or via the website. Appalling. Even now they answer the new booking line straight away but you are kept on hold for 30 min to speak to customer service.
