“Six days to dispatch, and only after I chased them
Ordered on a Saturday. Heard nothing. By Thursday there was still no dispatch notification, so I raised a ticket. I got a reply at 2pm on Friday confirming the order had "been marked for dispatch today" - six days after ordering, and apparently only because I asked.
To be clear, the courier isn't the problem. An identical order I placed two weeks earlier was dispatched the following Monday and arrived Wednesday, which was fine. This time the order simply sat there.
What stood out was the reply itself: a detailed explanation of their office hours, their end-of-day processes, which email address they hold for me and how Royal Mail Tracked 48 works - but not one word acknowledging that the order had been sitting unshipped for five working days, and no apology. Nothing was actually wrong with my order; it just hadn't been picked.
The stock and pricing are competitive, which is why I ordered twice. But if you need something for a specific date, don't assume it's going out promptly, and expect to have to chase it yourself.”
“I paid for 24-hour shipping, but my order was delayed to 48 hours due to an error on Games Lore's part. When I reached out to resolve the issue, I proposed a reasonable solution: either they refund the difference in shipping costs or split the shipping on two future preorders to send them seperately instead of together to compensate for their mistake.
Unfortunately Games Lore's response was to refuse both options and cancel all my current preorders instead. This is a baffling business decision. For the sake of a few pounds, they chose to lose a regular customer (9 Purchases this month). It's a prime example of poor customer service and a complete failure to value repeat business.”
