“Whilst placing the order with Hamilton was not a problem, their delivery service DPD were appalling. When booking there was space for specific instructions to the carrier about the delivery which I duly completed because the delivery was to a tenant at my flat. The tenant waited in and DPD did not even call the flat intercom phone to gain entry or call the tenant and left the item at one of their allocated shops for collection. They then lied to the tenant in a text to say they had called and no-one was in. I complained to Hamilton that I had paid for delivery and that the tenant now had to drive to the collection point for the item. No refund of delivery was offered and I was just informed that this was often what DPD did. I stated that they should change their carrier. DON'T USE HAMILTON AND DON'T USE ANY SUPPLIER THAT USES DPD.”

Thank you for your feedback, it is very important to us. We are sorry to hear that there were issues with your delivery. The DPD tracking states that they did call at the property and as no one was there to accept the delivery they took it to their collection point. We use DPD for most of our packages and find them very successful.

“I have not used the appliance as of yet, however I did not get notification of a delivery date & the delivery man left the fire on a pallet on the pavement. He knocked on the door & told my daughter we had to bring it up the steps to the house. She was in on her own so had to ring her dad to come back from work which was 1.5 hours from his job so she had to sit outside for that period so it did not get stolen in the freezing weather. Not satisfied with delivery.”

Thank you for your feedback Lorraine, it is very important to us. Our website states that pallet deliveries are kerbside only and the driver will not take the pallet away. This informs customers prior to an order being placed.

“When l purchased the fire online, it said if you buy within 6 hours it will be delivered within 2 days, unfortunately it arrived within 4 days of purchase. The courier service wasn't the best, l said to leave with the neighbours if no answer, never called at the neighbours as l saw on the camera's.”

Thank you for your feedback, it is very important to us. We can see that you opted for our free standard delivery service which is 3-4 working days. The option given on the website stating "if you buy within 6 hours it will be delivered within 2 days" is for the 48 delivery service which is an optional service that has an extra charge. We can see that your order was delivered within the 3-4 working day timeframe. All information regarding delivery timeframes is stated on our website to inform customers prior to an order being placed.

“The products are good quality, delivery was excellent, but customer service was terrible. I asked if they could help me and recommend what I need for the system. The salesman told me to go to the site and all parts are there and it is easy to order online. It is a new system I am installing and was not sure what I needed. So not very satisfied with the phone call.”
