Booked our nearly 9 month old puppy in for grooming. Identified to staff I had a 50% off voucher at book in and at checkout. They scanned my VIP card and the voucher and acknowledged it. When I got home I found the voucher had not been applied. Rang the store and was told the voucher was for a puppy groom and he’d had a full groom. This was his first groom ever. He’s not quite 9 months old. They acknowledged I had a voucher at check in. They scanned the voucher at checkout. At no point was I told the difference between what he had and the voucher. Clear the VIP status is not for everyone! I’m not unhappy with the grooming as it was his first one. But I still feel conned out of this voucher and do pleased I didn’t book for his next treatment

I am so up set and disappointed with pets at home ,vets policy not to do home visits because I have been attending there for 10 years with my huskamute , but when he became very sick and couldn’t move and had trouble breathing and was in pain and crying they would not send a vet to help us . So my advice is make sure you do not use them .

Chatbot options not relevant to my question about vet services. Filled in text box but chatbot could not understand. Pets have human owners so I want to speak to a human!

Bought my Jack Russell puppy a set of 3 tennis balls supposedly designed for puppies. Within minutes of her playing fetch with them, the fabric coating went very woolly to the point that they couldn't even be rolled along a tiled floor. Total waste. Got her some good Kong balls online that she can play with for hours. Pets at home sell so much rubbish that isn't fit for purpose.

Just opened one of my boxes of Butchers tray dog food to find many of them squashed and 2 split open. Not the first time they've arrived damaged. Obviously more care needs to be taken with delivery.

I used to like going to shop at Pets@home in Crayford but stopped going there regularly since their security guard has been terribly rude. He made me clean up the poop left by someone else’s dog as he assumed my dog did it, all because he saw my dog standing near the poop. I knew because my dog had just did a poop just before we went to the store (and it was of a different colour and texture). No apologies, no customer friendliness at all. Another time once my dog peed near the entrance, he didn’t hesitate to give me some paper roll to clean the pee, no please, no thank you, just an angry look. How did they hire such a staff I don’t know. I now prefer to shop elsewhere and other online stores.

The staff come across unknowledgable give wrong advice or incorrect products not consistent in what they say even though they have allegedly had the same training. Quick to shift blame onto customer for example even though customer was led by " their " own suggestion.

Waste of time being a so called VIP customer! No vouchers that I ever had I've been able to use as my dog is on a vet special diet ( royal canin urinary ) which is rather expensive. So I've saved them the postage now and have became an ex VIP!! When you join up this company should explain that vouchers are for normal pets with nothing wrong with them. Its a big company who should be aware that not every pet is the same!!

Yet again my online order was late..the 1st order was weeks late, I contacted them they took ages to find my order number to then be told its on its way..already 2 days late! Again they blamed it on courier company! They weren't really bothered..I was hoping they would have improved from my previous orders..but no!! Very disappointed

My monthly order has been destroyed, it was a mess with dented tins all over the box making it impossible to carry each item, this keeps happening, I've emailed pets at home but got no response!

Called today , buying a stack of Butchers for my rescue cats. There was one till open, and a long quew. The bell was rang, and an assistant jumped on the till behind. The woman in front of me eventually got to the till of the quew, so I proceeded to the till that was just opened. The girl assistant of the other till turned round to me, and in front of the shoppers , in an abrupt manner, I was jumping the quew, and continued to stare at me like i had killed someone. I told her, don't look at me like that, I have been queing and it would have been my turn at the till behind her anyway. She continued to ' tell me off' as if I was a child. I am 62, and spend a hefty amount at pets at home, but no more .

Very disappointed! It said on your website item was in stock and could be click and collect at chosen store! Maybe you should review why your website confirms this action before you take me to payment! This whole experience with Pets at Home has been very frustrating even trying to get through to few stores to check if item was available in store.

Customer service is really bad and the online store is really slow and the advisor's on the live help feature don't have a clue what they're doing

My dog had a skin infection caused they said by a grass allergy. They recommended a shampoo at £21 which I bought. When I wanted something else they recommended the same again as it wasnt clearing up theyd put the price up to £26. Talk about taking the pee!! Not happy anymore with this company, its all about profit. I can buy the same product online for less than £13... Blackheath branch S. LONDON

Got a delivery of butchers tinned dog food 72 tins in all and 56 denta sticks .When delivered 36 of the tins and the denta stix were sealed in a box.36 of the tins had been wrapped and taped by the delivery firm.upon sing the taped tins we noticed some of them were dented quite badly.so much so we struggle to open them .when we do some of them spit all the meat juices all over the place.dont think we’ll be having delivery fro them again.
