Telematic box is faulty, complained so many times and have had no resolution. After car was stolen also took 2 and a half weeks for wise driving to track my car with the box and regardless of wisefrivings claims it’s not for that they still advertise this on the website. I’ve also currently been driving with a really good score each day and for about 4 months have had no reduction in my score despite my score being high before my car was stolen and since having it back and driving mostly excellent.

They keep you up to date with how your driving and what's making your score fo down if you have a black box.

I have no idea your opinion on ‘perfect’ driving but the scores continuesly drop so insurence goes up. Literally impossible to keep a decent score.

It benefits me to see my dashboard and be able to try and improve my driving. It is also nice having the knowledge my driving is of a good standard and as a relatively new driver, have the assurance I am doing well.

I had a drop in premium once. However I did say that I have to enter a main road everyday hence my acceleration being high but no one was interested

I signed up for the telematics box from Wise Driving thinking it would be interesting to see an analysis of my driving. Shortly after signing up I received a cancellation notice because they needed a copy of my V5. I sent a photo of my V5 as the call centre assistant told me to and a few days later got another cancellation notice because the they needed the original not a photo. I sent the original and again after a few days got another cancellation notice because one letter was missing from the postcode. I ordered a new V5 and eventually had it accepted and got the telematics box installed. Its very inconvenient to be chasing around like this especially when they are giving out incorrect information and none of this was requested up front. Was it worth the effort? Not really. I initially tried driving very carefully after installation of the box and was consistently receiving 100% for speed and acceleration and 0% for braking? I even tried a short journey locally without braking hardly at all and it made no difference. I'm guessing because I live in a village that very high up so the braking force on my way down the hill is maybe read wrong but ultimately now over time the readings don't really tell you anything about your driving. I certainly won't be using Wise Driving again for insurance.

Worst company I’ve ever been with. Added on money & charges to the policy for modifications to the car that didn’t exist. The company who installed the black box claimed there had been modifications made to the car that didn’t actually exist. Took 8months to resolve with extremely little help from wisedriving. It’s still not resolved now but I am being expected to take time away from work to drive to a registered Ford garage and pay for proof that the modifications are not on the car. This all being expected of me when it was your mistake. Totally unprofessional hen trying to contact customer services. Also when taking out the policy claimed I had not sent them proof of no claims even though they were my previous insurer & they themselves hadn’t sent me the document. This them encured a charge to take off the no claims & then add it on again. All in all lead to almost £300 being added to my policy which was already extortionate in the first place. Totally disgusting company & are currently in contact with the ombasman to take the complaint further.
