I ordered face masks back in May and never received them. For the past 5 months I have had an ongoing online conversation with their support center. They give me the same information over and over. Wait or do the same things over and over with no results. My requests for a refund are n=met with wait, we are contacting the seller. Its been 5 months. Do not use this company. They do stand behind what they sell and they will not help you resolve problems. They also won't give you any information to call or write to higher ups in the company. Just the same robotic replies from customer service

THE GOOD NEWS: After more than 30 days of back and forth messaging with Gearbest (GB) I finally received a refund for 30 KN-95 masks from a total of 110 actually ordered. THE BAD NEWS: GB tried to make me deal with a sub seller of theirs named NICHE. The Customer Care and that might be an oxymoron, of NICHE sent me numerous messages which were in no way relevant to my missing masks. They sent numerous requests for photos of the packaging and individual masks which I luckily had. I am convinced they were playing a delay game in hopes I would, out of frustration, give up. I finally told (GB) that they were the seller I ordered from directly and they had to take responsibility for the missing masks, not some company (NICHE) I never heard of when I placed the order. GB finally started communicating with me. Their messaging was slightly better than NICHE but they too seemed to be playing the delay game in hopes I would not meet the PayPal (PP) deadline. This became very frustrating when after NICHE and GB messaged me separately, they would send me a refund but not until I closed the case with PayPal. My only leverage with them was my PayPal Case. Due to PP timing rules I had an upcoming deadline and so I closed the CASE. Within 2 days I was notified the refund was on its way from GB via PayPal to me. Conclusion: The total refund was for around $38. The masks I did receive were of good quality. Why, you might ask, did I spend so much of my time with all of the back of over a month period over $38. I am 81 years old and retired. I am stuck in the house what with the Covid-19 thing. Lessons learned: Make sure you take comprehensive photos of received items and packaging thereof. NICHE did complete the delivery. The problem was that they were totally wrong as to the number of masks in the individual smaller packages. Seemingly easy to communicate, but they made it infinitely more difficult. MORE GOOD NEWS: The K-95 masks seem to work in regards to the horrible air quality caused be the California fires. POSSIBLE BAD NEWS: Gearbest, Niche and PP may refuse to ever deal with me again. OR IS THAT GOOD NEWS.

Ordered a product with a 5 days delivery. Got my money back after 7 weeks from Paypal without any comment from Gearbest. After 9 weeks i received a mail from Gearbest, saying, that the product was lost and that i will get the money back:-) Conclusion: The product was, at the moment of the sale, not in Europe. It was from the beginning impossible to deliver within 5 days. Bad seller = LIFE SMART ROBOT Store The good: got my money back without any discussions!

Bought a cell phone which developed within 6 months screen problems. Expectation in Europe of course is replacement or repair. Gearbest tried with suggestions of maltreatment (phone heated up according to support ) to avoid warranty. I didnt accept and their offer finally was 40 US and some account points, which I declined. Do not buy at Gearbest ever.

Disgusting experience in dealing with them. Bought an item, realising billed USD dollars and cancelled within 30 minutes, yet still posted the item out after 17 hours of getting the cancellation email, now having to pay big postage to return it. Seems like they know the system and play to it. Warning... True fair dinkum after sales service is lacking and they will not seek to get a fair and reasonable outcome.

Avoid this website, advertise great prices but dont honour them. Used to be reputable but their trading practices now leave a lot to be desired.

I ordered 6pcs tablets with high specs on the website. Those devices I received have been manipulated and show fake device information. I know what I am saying as I am an expert in Android tablets. On the Gearbest site when I ordered these devices they advertised with the following specs: Android 9.0, 1920x1080 screen resolution, 8GB RAM, 512 GB flash. When I go to device information on the device the displayed information matches BUT the device is very slow and the OS look and feel is not Android 9.0. So, I downloaded diagnostics apps and run them. It turned out the tablets have only Android 4.4, 1280x800 screen resolution, 1 GB RAM and 16GB flash. This is the parameters of a 7 years old tablet! I raised issue in GearBest resolution system but they say I have to negotiate with the seller. The seller doesn't want to accept return and neither want to refund me. GearBest "customer service" just keep saying I have to negotiate with the seller but do nothing to solve my problem. They stole 380 GBP from me.

Bought a Fitbit watch from Gearbest. When it arrived it did not work. Tried to contact them through their online ticket system...it did not work..how convenient for them .Luckily they have a Facebook system so went through that with my complaint. Lo and behold the ticket system now worked. Unfortunately it must be manned by people who do not read the tickets and simply press scripted replies stating how sorry they are and how valued we are as customers. What a joke. After 17 communications I still have a bit of black metal and rubber but feel so much better with my 17 apologies and being valued sooo much. Luckily I paid through PayPal so will hopefully get my money back!! Do not use this company, unless you want to give your money away

Gearbest - highly recommended. I've used gear best on a number of occasions (smart lightbulbs, headphones, exterior lights). Descriptions are always accurate, delivery times are stated clearly (never that quick, but its fine as the prices are low). Would definitely recommend.

I am a real customer of GearBest.com. I ordered 4 items from this site 5 months ago, so far I have received 1 item. The rest of 3 items are still missing. Contacted the site and seller many times, and I found that this site and seller are basically a cheater and scammer. They intend to cheat your money and send you nothing.

During peak pandemic infections I ordered masks which they promised in 5 days. They kept lying about the time of delivery till the credit card company contacted them. It was a month after the purchase that I received the masks which are of bad quality from china for a very high price. I asked to return the items but they kept giving me the runaround. Finally I gave up. They are crooks. Do not purchase anything from them.

Gearbest is the deception !! Be careful buying from them! I was trying to buy from them 2 times and 2 times I was tricked! They lie about dispatch time all the time. As an example they write that they will dispatch product after purchase 2-3 days, after that they say sorry you need to wait 2 weeks more. After 2 weeks they say that you need to wait more 2 weeks. They lie about they shop stock, they selling product which they do not even have. It seems that they themselves do not know do they get the product or no. But they will sell that as much as posible !!! If you're reading, do not even think about buying from them. I commissioned a journalistic article about their dishonesty and fraud. An initial journalistic investigation has shown that hundreds of people are deceived every day. I will try to make as many people as possible see this before buying from you

I ordered 6 tablets with the newest tech params advertised, cost me 378 GBP. The tablets I received were very-very slow so I downloaded hardware info apps. It turned out the devices have 6-7 years old hardware. The information it displays about the system is fake. So, practically I didn't receive what I ordered, I received old unusable devices instead. GearBest offered 60 USD refund altogether. This is a scam!

The Gearbest GWallet: I cannot gain access to the GWallet or create a password. Gearbest are completly unhelpful apart from providing instructions that don't work for me. They give the impression that they wish to set a precedent by being helpful which is a pity because I find them good people to deal with.
