Just because I didn’t read the email and respond within 24 hours the price was reduced from £80 to £58.

We received your phone almost 1 week after the initial offer expired, in which time the wider market had dropped. If we had received your phone within the 10 day timeframe you would have received the full amount quoted. Sorry for any confusion/disappointment.

Offer was halved when I sent it off with no reasoning after I filled in the all questions asked exactly how the condition the phone was in. Feel like the original offer was just there to get you to send the device in the first place. Very misleading probably wouldn’t use again

You downgraded my fee (cited terms and conditions) because of wear and tear. I am not bothered in disputing this, but safe to say, I will never use you again and will not recommend you.

Hi Ray, thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately your display was badly damaged, so we were unable to offer the full Good price. If you had registered your sale as Faulty, you would have got the full price you were expecting. I'm sorry you were disappointed in the price in this instance, and we hope to see you again in the future.

Found it hard to deal with you find a phone no and to receive money over a week to get paid and the money still is not in my account.

Hi Ruth, thanks for the review. I can see that your device arrived on the 5th, and we attempted to pay the full price you were quoted on the same day, but unfortunately the bank account number and sort code you had entered were incorrect. We reached out to tell you this, you then provided the correct details, and we sent payment again. The money should now be in your account, but please feel free to reach out to our support if it is not.

Hi James, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with others, and to provide us with your valuable feedback. I am pleased to hear that this issue has now been resolved by our support, but do apologise that this transaction didn't go as smoothly as either of us would have liked. As you now know, your device was received without paperwork so we had no way of knowing who it belonged to when it arrived at our premises. Your device was placed in our unclaimed devices section, and we were able to identify it as yours once you provided us with the IMEI number of the handset. As I hope you can appreciate, we need some means of identifying the device as yours otherwise we are unable to process your order. We do provide instructions telling customers to include the paperwork with their trade in, and have systems and support in place for those customers who send in their devices without any means of us identifying the device as theirs. I do hope you can be somewhat understanding of the above, and we hope to see you again in the future.

The process is simple and the prices they quote are good but they hide the full terms and conditions away in order to deduct more than expected from their original valuation. The website says they only consider cosmetic issues when you class your phone as being in 'good' condition, but in actual fact they take the health of the battery into account as well, which allows them to easily deduct £25 (for an iPhone) off the amount offered. By that point the valuation of the phone on rival websites is lower than their adjusted one, so you have no choice but to accept it. Sneaky.

I am pleased that despite your device failing the battery health check you were still offered the highest market price for your device, which you accepted rather than choosing to have it returned free of charge. We can only fit so much information on the front page of the website, but all customers are prompted to read our full terms and conditions before registering a sale.

Hi Damien, thank you for your feedback. I have looked into your case and see that the reason payment was not made same day was that you sent in a device which was locked to a Samsung Account. This anti-theft feature meant that we were unable to process your order until it had been removed by yourself. We do state on our website, confirmation email, information booklet and also in our T&Cs that all anti-theft features such as iCloud Activation Lock, Google Account Protection and Samsung Account protection must be removed prior to posting the device as we can't process these devices. I can see that you were paid the same day you removed the Samsung Account protection, so returning the handset was not necessary. I hope this explanation is sufficient for you to revise your negative review? We would really appreciate that as we do work very hard to please our customers and iron out any issues that may arise.
