“On August 30, I ordered a BMW AM FM RADIO STEREO CASSETTE C33 1996 1997 1998 1999 E36 318 328 M3 Z3 65128364944 + CODE. Paid $249.95 with Taxes of $21.56, a total of $271.51. Received it on September 8 at my house in San Francisco, but as I was traveling for 5 weeks in Europe, I opened up the package without a note of the CODE on October 10. Emailed them immediately. Once I received the CODE, I noticed that this CODE did not work. Immediately emailed with the response that I needed to call Alpine.com in order to get the correct CODE which I thought was very strange as it said on their website that it came with the correct CODE. As it was the same CODE from Alpine, they confirmed on October 16 that they had no idea why it doesn’t work and agreed on that day for me to return the item and get a replaced Business RDS Radio Cassette unit instead. To give me a call for me to pay the difference once they have received the unit with bad CODE. Paid $29.55 for the USPS return which they received on October 21. On October 22nd they responded that they were working on it. They confirmed again on October 24th, while I started to wonder. They got the unit back that I purchased. Why didn’t they simply call or email me, let me pay for the difference and get the other unit? This for my kindness of not requesting for a credit, but pay to get the other unit. So, I called several times and days after and both went immediately to voicemail. Since October 24th, I have been emailing, calling again and nothing. I even checked my spam. On November 1st, I decided to go on their website and noticed the unit I purchased is back online for sale – the same unit 65128364944 and that the unit I wanted to replace with is still available. So why reselling it while I did not get my $271.51 back and completely ignoring my communication. As it’s been 10 days, I presume that I lost this money. It looks like he is taking care of all his customers on ebay.com, but was another victim of buying on his website www.germanaudiotech.com when reading all these ‘recent’ one-star reviews online. As I’m out of a radio cassette for my BMW Z3, I did some research and found out that Pioneer recently came out with a ‘new’ old school looking Bluetooth Radio Cassette, which is the SXT-C10PS. That is a great option. Good luck everyone!”

“I don't typically leave reviews, but I feel I must share my experience with this company so maybe others can avoid them. I ordered a repair service for my old radio. They returned the radio, but only partially repaired. They say the work is 100% guaranteed, so I tried to contact them to figure out how to get it back to them for futher repair.
They will not answer my emails, phone calls/voice mails, or even messages sent to them through their eBay store (where I initially contacted them, and they DID reply - so I know they see the messages...). I've tried to contact them MANY times over the past month. Radio silence, literally, from them.
I guess if they fix your radio the first time, you're lucky, but their 100% guarantee is certainly NOT honored and post-repair customer support does not exist - so if you choose to use them, it's a gamble.”

Ok so the company has time to respond to my complaint on Google but they don't have time to respond to my 15 emails requesting status of my product. I find it just lazy or very bad business. I know see why there are quite a few one star reviews, I sent a clients cluster in for repairs on 9/25/2023 order #13520. Since then I received one one email and that was from when I paid up front for the cluster repair online through the website. After 10 phone calls to them and emailing them everyday for the last two weeks, I have not received one response to my messages. This seems more and more like a scam and even worse if I don't get my clients instrument cluster back down right theft. Hopefully I will receive a reply from the German Audio Tech company so I can get my clients car back to him.
