“Used this site a few times and had decent products etc. Unfortunately when it comes to returning garments and trying to get your money refunded that obviously presents a challenge for this business. 10 working days to process a refund ? really ? Well unfortunately that is the reason I will not be using this company again......poor customer service when the customer needs it most !!! Strange how they can process your payment for goods instantly but it takes nearly two weeks to give you your money back !! Disappointing to say the least”

“Description of items accurate. Happy with products. I was not happy with the fact that I paid over £200 for my order which meant I qualified for Royal Mail 24 delivery. Ordered my items on Sunday. Didn't receive them until Wednesday. Meant I had to buy additional items for a tournament that I needed my order for, leaving me more out of pocket.”

“The product is fine but the ordering process was appalling. Delivery was also shocking. I selected next day delivery and paid the extra £3.95 and changed the address as I was at my partners before Xmas. When I pressed pay it took me to a screen and the £3.95 was wiped out but what I also didn’t realise until I paid was that the address changed back also. This meant I didn’t receive my package until after Xmas and the recipient was without a present. Delivery never informed me it was on its way until it was delivered 3 days late. Won’t buy again from this outfit. I also contacted customer services about this before delivery and they never responded. Pretty shocking service. Thanks for the reply but your system knocked out the payment for next day and changed the address back which you haven’t addressed. I know I was under time constraint so that was why I wanted to pay the £3.95. Plus would you like a copy of my email to you on the day of ordering as you ‘can’t find it’. Customer service at its best blame the customer.”

“Have had a couple of orders from Golfbase recently. Seem to be consistently slow on delivery and on this occasion couldn't even send the correct item. It's really not a good service from my experience. I'll shop elsewhere now.”

“Trousers were reasonably priced and arrived promptly enough but the sizes were way out. I`ve been a fatboy 38" waist for years but these trousers were at least one size too big for me. They were also extremely lightweight and totally unsuitable for British Winter Golf. Will be returning them shortly.”

“I bought 2 tops with the description double layer. They came single layer They did offer me to return at no cost. The collar is double layer so i believe they are hooking customers on the double layer add and hoping they don't return. I sent a few e mails back and forward which they always replied so very good on communication.”

“Wrong description listed online twice, I ordered the one that stated it was waterproof when it arrived it was just windproof , when looked back on the website the top had been deleted .”

“Unfortunately, the item that arrived was not exactly what I ordered. I placed an order for adidas golf shorts, 34” waist, 9” leg. The order was accepted and payment taken. when I received the shorts, they were 8.5” leg. I spoke to a member of your staff over the phone and was asked to send photos of the labelling on the shorts. I did this and received acknowledgment of the e-mail. I followed this with a phone call and was advised that you actually had no 9” leg shorts and that I was effectively misled. The gentleman that I spoke to on both occasions was Jake and he gave me his full attention, going out of his way. He then offered me a £10 discount if I decided to keep the shorts that I had received. I accepted his offer and, as this was not a perfect solution, it was certainly an acceptable one. Thanks Jake.”

“No Email order confirmation, sent them an Email, no reply. I paid using PayPal and got confirmation of the payment, which is no excuse for the supplying company Golfbase not sending email. The product I bought is not manufactured by Golfbase, so I will be buying elsewhere. Considering how things are you would have thought the very basics would have been covered.”

“Paid an extra £3.99 for 24 hour delivery by royal mail but item took 2 or 3 days to arrive having been sent via Gatwick. And when the item arrived it was an american sizing so completely unsuitable for me. Much clearer sizing required on the website.”
