Their ads look great but not their services. Even if the reason you want to choose them is they seem to be the only one has that particular product you are after, be patient and wait for a few months and buy it from a credible shop. Because it's very likely you will not get your order after waiting for a few months anyway.

In my experience, I ordered a mobile on 4 Oct from them, they only started to process it two weeks later 17 Oct. Another two months passed by, after multiple following-ups with them, I still didn't get the phone. They refunded me on 16 Dec, but deducted the shipping fee. I ordered the same phone from CECT-SHOP (https://www.cect-shop.com/), the order was processed on the same day. A week later, I received the phone and they only charge half of the global shipping fee. Comparing GoodEReader and CECT-SHOP, I'd say CECT-SHOP delivered a very professional, speed deal while GoodEReader acted exactly the opposit:

* GoodEReader claims it sells eReaders with global quick shipping on all orders. Yet, I waited for 2 months and received nothing and have to pay the shipment cost. GoodEReader used normal post and charged USD $29, while CECT-SHOP uses DHL only charged USD $12.

* GoodEReader's shippment staff Jon claimed they have been in this biz for 12 years and ship over 120 mobile orders each week. Yet, he arranged the shippment twice (According to him. He did not provide a tracking number for the 2nd attempt when I asked him multiple times), without checking with the post service provider if mobile is acceptable and both got returned. I don't understand how this can happen but it is obviouse it's not his or his company's concern. Because, Jon 'pointed out' that the purchase agreement says no post charge will be refunded and 'if English is not your first language, there will be a lot of internet translation add-ons can easily help you understand the agreement'.

On the contrary, CECT-SHOP provided very clear and detailed info in each step and keep you updated every step, so you know how many steps are ahead, on which day and who to speak to if you have any questions. I was very impressed with how considerate they are as you can see they really put themselves into the customer's shoes

* GoodEReader's staff are very unhelfpul and untimely in their responses (if they respond at all), while CECT-SHOP's staff responded with very helpful info the next day after the question was raised - and this is after the order was received - CECT-SHOP emails you to invite you to ask help if you had any trouble using the phone. GoodEReader? You'd imagine they would do things more professional when the first shipment was returned. I even asked Jon when he proposed to take another way to send it again: 1. Are we sure this 2nd option will not be returned as the first one? 2. How long does it take? He said it will take 3 days only. When I followed up with him on the 4th and 5th day and asked him about the tracking number, he finally told me it was returned again. This time I never even saw the tracking number.


The conclusion is, if you don't want to waste time, money and good mood, avoid GoodEReader by all means. There are many credible shops out there.

been dealing with goodereader for about 5 years off and on. they have a 24 hour phone number whuich is nice cause you can always talk to someone live!

I pre-ordered a remarkable 2 with these gents.
Their customer service responses were completely unpolite, anytime I would seek updates. Example: "remarkable 2 only ships in July, no updates to give" simple, just like that.
When remarkable announced they were postponing the launch of remarkable 2 for 3 months I contacted their customer service and their level of unprofessionalism, rudeness, and unprofessionalism was this:
